Give it a break! I've seen men raise their kids alone (and well )after their mother passed on in their childhood...humans are wired to adapt and survive no matter what!
Hmmm!!So do girls carry on with life when their parent die.And even go as far as taking care of thier younger ones till they become independent.

In this case I am talking about carrying the burden of an average woman of having to go through pain to have cute babies and at thesame time battling with weight problems as a result of child bearing and still thinking of how to shoulder the responsibility of keeping home front running smoothly and supporting thier husbands to provide for the home.

On the other hand, there is the yeye husband who want her breast to be firm like the way she was before child birth and thesame time expect her to return back to the model like statue with flat tommy and firm body even after child births.
These is what I meant when I said women have to go through a lot to please that ever ungrateful husbands like you who think they can eat their cake and have it.

At 36 she’s still a baby herself. When she gets wiser she’ll undo the message. My only pain is like most Naija women she let herself get fat. I don’t know if the average Nigerian female above 34 years of age is cursed with fat genes.
You will never know becos you are not a woman . Do you know what it means to carry a pregnancy for nine months and having to battle with homones as a result of child birth ? All you men know how to do is criticize women without any care in the world . If you were told to carry 10% of the problems married women do shoulder on a daily basis, I don't event think you even live well without going into deep depression.

Thank you. I experience this accusation and it hurt trying to prove to her that I don't cheat. I just love kissing women on the cheek, that doesn't mean I am cheating. Thank you again.
How would you feel if your wife allows men to kiss her on her cheek, while she gigles it off in front of you or your friends ? In the western world that is part of thier culture of greetings (especially in Europe) but in Nigeria, its means a different thing.Especially if you are a married man

What I see here is a group of people arguing over which tribe is more important than the other in Delta state.Of cos every tribe will say their tribe is more important in areas of values, population, social/political relevance etc.
If only we could use this energy as a think tank to suggest ways our restive and lazy youth in Delta state can be de-radicalize from their troublesome way of doing things, which have prevented investors from seeing Warri/Delta state as a peaceful and good place to invest in.

We are always at each others neck to brag over who is better than the other..do you guys expect the other tribe to stand bye and accept to be looked down on by another tribe? of cause not..so why do we always engage in this kind of argument that add no value to our very existence? of what good is this argument anyway? All the claim over land by the Ijaw, Urhobos and the Itsekiris , how has it brought development to the land?.All I see are some group of leaders who feel entitle to Warri so that they can continue get royalties from companies/Govt in order to fill up their pocket and that of their cronies. While the land is left under developed and their people linger in abject poverty with decaying and polluted environment.
It was under the eyes of this Obas that our environment were polluted and degraded by oil companies. And what did they do? Nothing. They looked the other way and allowed their subject to suffer undue hardship as a result of the environmental pollution caused by oil spillage . As far as I cam concerned these obas and ovies' title should be scrapped.

Warri is in a sorry state becos the Itsekiris feel they have more right to the land while the Urhobos & Ijaws are always contesting it.And the result is violence and youth restiveness. There is no meaningful development in Warri today becos each tribe has often tried to sabotage any development in different location of another tribe since the project is not sited on their region.why?

Why cant we discuss on how to change the mind of our youth from their entitlement mentality through a social/Govt program for this very purpose?. Why cant we let them see that the reason Warri is in a sorry state state is because of their violent and restive nature? .They need to understand that due to their troublesome nature they have succeeded in chasing out companies and investors that are suppose to provide jobs for the them and their community. They should understand that the reason the oil companies have refused to return their head quarters back to Delta/River state is becos of who we are..our people are not peaceful at all.We are too violent and myopic..they see gra gra as a way of life. Our Lazy youth/their leaders do not see beyond their nose and always want fast money through their entitlement behavior. Now there is hunger in the land and this same youth have resorted to robbery and kidnapping as a way of life. We should be concern about restoring Warri to the way it was when we had companies that went about their businesses without the tribal wars of the Three tribes getting in the way.

All these stupid argument of which tribe is more important than the other or who is more entitled to Warri is all rubbish.I dont know why the black man will never sit down to think on how to solve a problem but would rather be masturbating over who he is better than in other to make him feel good .That is a pathetic way of thinking.

This is the kind of message we need in Nairaland that have turned this forum into a tribal and religious war zone. Let this story teach people, especially the bigot we have here that your destiny helper can come from someone from any tribe or that very tribe you think is your enemy or below you . These children were Almajiris and needed help; it didn't take that Igbo man to think twice before helping them out. May God bless and may soul RIP.

I know that most people may not be comfortable with such an animal as a meat, but the op should be left to enjoy his meal in peace. What about those Chinko people that consume lizards, rats, moneys, worm etc. Its not as a result of poverty, but that is what they are used to.
the best people to compare this to are the chinkos that eat anything that has pulse..I am sure you will be fortable when you see another Nigerian eating cockroach, bats, frogs, millipede, and all the despicable insect and animals that look weird to eat..our usual habit in Nigeria is to compare our action with another. Now we have now brought ourselves this low by comparing what we eat to that of the chinkos who terrible food.
What he did was done out of poverty and hunger .if the op was very comfortable financially,he would have looked at the monkey as an animal that need to return back to the wild.
The black man especially in Nigeria is dark at heart .We are hostile to nature and its inhabitants but are ever ready to pay money to see these same wildlife in another country .is that not stupidity ?

How come COVID-19 figure in Lagos state has not gone up almost two weeks after President Muhammadu Buhari lifted lockdown in Lagos and people not observing social distancing in banks and buses?

The way people are talking, it's as if we will be having 5,000 new cases in Lagos every day
I think we already do but our immune system is somehow fighting the battle for us .That is why it seems as if many Lagosians do not have it.Or the fact that they are not falling sick in thier hundreds and dying like flies in their houses or on the street just like what happened in Ecuador .
Coronal virus carriers are all over the place, infecting people and carrying on thier daily activities with reckless abandon. We are not really taking the social distancing seriously.
However, the ones you will hear of contacting the virus are the ones with weak immune system. And God help them if they have any underlying cindition. God help us all.

People brag about a lot of things on social media; from their bad habits to their secret longings. A Nigerian man sparked outrage after he bragged about something much more sinister. He bragged about beating his wife to pulp leaving her bloodied.

The man identified as Afobaje Maiyegun, took to his Facebook account last Tuesday to brag with photos of his bloodied wife whom he had beat to pulp.

In the photos obtained by IGBERE TV, the woman whose name is yet to be ascertained is seen bleeding from her heavily swollen side eye.

Justifying his inhumane act, the man claimed he beat his wife up for getting angry because he talked to another woman.

Sharing the photos, Mayegun also said he is waiting for the police that will arrest him for beating his wife.

The man attitude has generated a lot of reactions with many describing his as an animal.

Madam if your husband is set his ways and not willing to compromised for the marriage to work .Please start saving money for a plan B. Do not allow this man to increase your hypertension to stroke or Heart attack. If you die today ,These same mad people here on nairaland telling you to bear and pray pray pray will still blame you for not doing the necessary duty as a wife for ur husband to make you happy .
Our society is cruel to women and you should not fall prey to thier wicked expectation of suffering and smiling in an abusive marriage .

If you like turn out like this very man she is complaining about and see if your wife will be gracious to accommodate you with ur nastiness ,Ur bigger than life Ego and irresponsibility toward to your family .
You Nigerian men should learn how to be good husbands to ur wives since our mothers & society have failed in that area . so that your home will be a joyful one.

Politics › Re: Arrest Anyone That Stops Alamajiris From Entering Their States – Ex-lawmaker Say by omoharry(f): 8:17pm On May 11, 2020
Following the exchange of Almajiris between states, a 2nd republic Lawmaker, Dr. Junaid Muhammad, has called for the arrest and prosecution of security operatives at the borders that allow for Almajiris to be concealed in trailers like cows to smuggled to the Southern States.

Muhammad, who was speaking against the backdrop of a recent situation when South East, South-South States clamped down on Almajiris relocating from North, says he doesn’t believe the Almajiris treatment was necessary.

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari in his COVID-19 broadcast on April 27, 2020, had talked about the new plan to ensure there is no movement between States, however, the security at the border posts have been compromising and letting the Almajiris to be smuggled to other States.

The ex-lawmaker told TheGuardian Newspaper that his views for the past 60 years on Almajerai has not changed. “I don’t believe the almajiri is necessary, I don’t believe it is politics or religion, I don’t believe it is in the interest of our country to allow this unhealthy phenomenon.

“It is economically counterproductive, it does not help in developing the country or developing the young men who are the Almajerai.

“If they are brought up to be almajerai most of them does not know the Koran, they don’t know modern education, they have no trade, no job, they have no training, so as far as I am concerned it is, in fact, an abuse of these children who are brought up to be almajerai.”

He said on top of that, it is important to realise that if the almajerias decide to get married, there is a responsibility attached to that marriage, if they decide to have a child there is a responsibility attached to then as far as that child is concerned.

“The idea that you can decide to get married and start producing children like rats is simply uncalled for and in the long run a criminal offence as far as I am concerned.

“Bringing up a child in this modern age of the 21st century who is not educated, who knows nothing about religion, who knows nothing about any profession is also a crime against humanity.”

“So as far as I am concerned, whatever the inconveniencies these almajerai are subjected to, I am all for it, because I want it discouraged, and at some point in the near future, I want it completely to be stopped because we have the people who have refuse to really stamp their feet on the ground to put a stop to it simply because they don’t have the political will”.

He explained further that the people who are supposed to say no, don’t do so.

“Secondly there is also the idea that because of our liberal nature you can travel all the way from Lagos to Maiduguri to Sokoto to Calabar, without being harassed because they take advantage of that to go and now have so many colonies of Almajiris in so many places where the culture is not there.”

He said as far as he is concerned he has no problem with them being treated in a shabby manner adding that if they are caught they should be apprehended.

“The almajerai may be innocent but those who facilitate their journeys should be arrested and jailed. Unless we put our foot down we are not going to have an end to this criminality.

BishopMagic:
Buhari has always been a traitor .

His allegiance has always been to his Fulani race and sahelian Arabs.

The man is borrowing a script from the satanic Jews .

From Jewish Kubitz settlements on Palestinian lands which is exactly eerily similar to Fulani Rugs colonies to the Israeli law of "Right of Return" which automatically conferred Israeli citizenship to all Jews globally, this registration ploy of Fulani migrants is meant to do same by conferring automatic citizenship to fulanis from across West Africa and beyond .

I have written severally that Israel and globalist Jews are a staunch ally to Buhari .

Globalist Jews who control the media where instrumental in portraying Buhari in a positive light and they are still the ones refusing to air his atrocities .

Powerful Jewish lobby groups in the US also helped sway that idiot Obama to back this tyrant .

Then there is the House of Saud which is composed of crypto-Jews whom Buhari worships .

When you even consider the Fulani side by side with the Jews you will see they are no different ;

1. Both the Fulani and the Jew are wanderers

2. Both the Fulani and Jew have no place to call home

3. Both the Fulani and the Jew have a supremascist agenda

4. Both have been successful in decieving Christians and Muslims in Nigeria to see them as special and chosen race

5. Both have no problem using genocide and extreme violence , subjugation to achieve their desired goals

6. Both are actively seeking to displace populations to get their ethno state

7. Both have an abhorrent hatred and agenda to destroy Christianity.

8. Both are allied in their hatred towards Shiites and Iran as can be seen with Buharis persecution of Shiites in Nigeria which all the Fulani Amirs and Sultan are in total support of.

9. Both have a superior complex and tribe mentality which leads to a scenario that wherever there is a Jew or Fulani in charge , they will swarm the place with their own kind .

I was having an argument with some friends few days ago, and i told them that i think the problem of Africa has to do with our skin.

I asked them to show me a country governed by a blackman that is envied by the world.

They could not point to one. I told them the heart of the blaclman is dark and evil.

It took bill gates to teach dangote charity. White people develop programs and make it open source. This is to allow the language help millions of people all around the world. The blackman wont do it.

Look at how much abacha stole and sent to the western world. A whiteman cant steal that much cash. The worst case scenario, he will invest that money in shares of companies that are doing well in his country. Creating more jobs for his people.

Look at how many churches and pastors we have. Look at the countries that brought the religion to us. We have more churches and pastors than them today, but look at our environment. Even our preachers are evil in their hearts. The church of Jesus, was the one were everyone sold what they had and shared so that no body lacks.

Here every single penny is collected from the poor to enrich the pastor.

This covid19 has further exposed the wickedness of our people. Our leaders are not different from us as a people.

I watched the video of police officers destroying drinks in a mans shop because he disobeyed the lockdown. I began to ask myself if this act was all about coronavirus or something else. It dawned on me that its just the wickedness of the black heart that is being displayed.

Not long ago, wike of rivers stake exhibited the same. Things were going on well till a disease came, then he went ahead to destroy more than the disease has done for the hotel owner and employers.

Other countries are trying to see how they could help businesses to cushion the effect of the virus on their business. Here wike feels comfortable destroying another mans business and rendering many jobless. In less than 5hrs over 40 direct and indirect jobs have been destroyed. How many jobs does wike create in a month?

Instead of putting the people first by showing empathy and telling promising them so form of palliative if they shutdown their business. You want to use force like a drunken warlord.

Will wike fold his arms and smile if buhari said rivers will not receive any allocation for 3 months as a result of covid19?

They survived coronavirus, but fell victim to wike.

What he displayed is the same wickedness in the heart of Abacha, idi Amin and other African leaders that have contributed to the downfall of the continent.
Point of correction oga,Bill gate did not teach Dangote on how to do charity.Infact it was becos of the fact that Dangote is involve in charity that is why they were introduced by a mutual friend. That is becos they are both billionaires and are both interested in charity in Africa.
There many billionaires in Nigeria that would rather keep thier money to themselves.Nobody teaches another person how to do charity. It comes naturally.
Regarding the hotel demolition,we were informed the hotel is notorious for harboring drugs and gun dealers. It was reported that the govt sent some team of inspectors to the hotel to investigate the hotels due to negative report they have received and the fact that the hotel was violating the lockdown rule in the state. The Team of inspectors were all beaten up and some are still fighting for their lives. The owner of the hotel even went as far as daring the govt that they are untouchable.
Why did you leave that out to only condemn the hotel demolition? You that is painting all black peoples as evil should also look at urself.
From the story I read about the hotel, I support the hotel demolition.Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Wwe had no settee when we got married and I was like let's work on this it will be nice, he said okay but no real plans to do, I had to save and get it.

The same with the generator, our television, our sir conditioner, our fans, even stabilizer, even extensions. Our gas cylinder was stolen but I had to replace it,
I do sell these with joy because I want to make my home comfortable but when I see men struggle to put their home together I feel jealous, my mom said I should stop buying properties but I can't, how will I see something that is good for my home and not do it.
I've calmly asked him why he does not think about providing these things for us. Even when these things get bad, he will ignore not until I quarrels and shout or report to people before he will grudgingly do it.

I'll try to be humble but trust me it's not easy, I told him just play your role small and I will worship you because with all I'm going true it's difficult because I'll just pretend and be cursing you in my mind.
When I hustle and save to get these things, I'm never appreciated. I'm not boasting but I just felt like explaining how I truly feel...
Madam, It is unfortunate that two people who are suppose to be with other people, ended up together. You did wrong by not knowing your husband very well before saying I do to him. Now you are in a tight place.

Anyway from your story above, it shows that your husband only does not loves you but does not seem to care about the welfare of his home. A man's duty is to support his family and ensure he is in charge of the affairs of his home, while his wife support him financially and emotionally. At the end of the day both parties tries to cover each other's inadequacies. This is how marraige with love is suppose to be.

Society should stop this nonsense of only blaming women in cases like this . It take two to tangle and to make a marriage work, it also involve both parties. Nobody is a robot for Christ sake. She is a human being and not a steel that does not have emotions nor feel pains and frustration
.
All these Nairalanders suggesting how she should be humble, submissive, act sexy, cook super meal bla bla! bla! they do not know that a cheating & an irresponsible man will remain so even if she should climbed the highest mountain for them, they will always remain the same. The respond you have received from these advisers is the very reason why some men continue to misbehave becos they know that society will continue to absorb them of their nasty actions and put the blame on the women.

Madam, your husband has falling out of love( that is if he even loved you at any point in time) .When a man love a woman, she does not have to beg for sex nor will she find wanting in taking care of his family. You and your sons happiness is suppose to be his pride and joy.

Both of you should patch your marriage by having a serious talk and going for counselling. You are both wrong and should take responsible for the failing marriage. Both parties should put effort to please each other.Nobody is a robot to be at the receiving end of cruelty and expect to give back love and affection.

Once again, I fear Nigeria may be the very last country on earth to sort out this pandemic with the attendant pariah status thus prolonging our national economic agony. This thing is beyond us physically, institutionally, financially and intellectually. We better start crying out for help internationally and quit pointless pride.
Help from who?All nations of the world are affected ed by the virus .They are still trying to beat the virus and thier priority is to care for thier own citizens for now.And by the time they have been able to contain the virus , they will be thinking of how to support thier citizens that must have been affected financially due to the virus as well as putting thier economy back in shape..Do you think they will lift an eye brow to some bunch of nuisance who are only good at embezzling thier country's fund that is supposed to have been put into good use for the benefit of thier citizens?
