I finished my NYSC in 2016 at the age of 27yrs and since then I have been teaching in a primary school here in Ilorin with a salary of 20k hoping that one day I will see a befitting job, it's over 2yrs now without a job. Now I'm confused about what to do, whether I should use the money for accommodation , or use the money to start a physical business (buying and selling) or use the money to acquire ICT skills ( if there will be job after the skill acquisition) or maybe I should just go for my masters.

Pls nairalanders your humble brother really needs solid advice on how to go about this.

See I came across you through your brilliant pre-wrath rapture exposition which I subscribe to and have since started to follow you. But on the tithe matter, sorry you are wrong.

I tithed since I got born again about 35 years ago but I did, not because I believed I ought to pay tithe but because I loved God and needed to support His work and ministers. But after, I stopped and instead started giving freely as I felt led 10% or not.

The Law has 3 componets: Ceremonial, Moral and Civil.

The civil derives more from the moral. The moral is unchangeable because it is eternal based on Gods love and holiness. What Jesus did away with was the Ceremonial law under which THE PRACTICE of tithing belonged.

My brother Jesus has nailed the PRACTICE of tithing to the cross as He did Sabbath worship, male circumcision, etc. But the PRINCIPLES remain for us: give as led freely to God, have a day of rest to worship Him, circumcision of the heart rather than of the body, etc, etc

Give but don't call it 'tithe'. Calling it tithe is what has generated unnecessary heat.

As for Matthew 23:23 you missed it big time. Jesus was definitely and specifically lambasting the Pharisees and Sadducees. They were Jews under the Law. They were not the disciples nor were they Christians. Of course they ought not to neglect tithing. Tithing was mandatory religious practice for them. Jesus scolded them for neglecting the MORE IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF THE LAW and were instead focusing mostly on tithing.

Because Abraham gave "tithes of all" so Christians should? No! God used the occasion to lay down a practice to be followed by the Jews and He made it very plain to them with dire consequences if they failed to obey when temple worship began.

Melchizedek already blessed Abraham even before he decided to give tithes of all the spoils of war. So it was not about tithe attracting blessing as the case for Israel and exploited by pro-tithers.

When Paul later made reference to this event, was he justifying tithe paying for Christians? No! Absolutely, Not!

He was rather justifying the superiority of the New Covenant over the Old Covenant: That Melchizedek ministry preceded the Law which established the Levitical priesthood and that Abraham already paid tithe to Melchizedek a type of Christ even before Jews did so under Levitical priesthood.

Tithe et al were explicitly commanded by God to Israel with consequences for disobedience.

Jesus and the Apostles never asked us to pay tithe, first fruits, etc. We are encouraged to give to ministers and one another freely especially those in need amongst us.

Am I saying we shouldn't give to Church. No! But that our giving to Church shouldn't be called tithe. WHEN WE CALL IT TITHE WE give a wrong impression that we are under the Law and under a curse if we don't follow to do. It is going back to bondage like insisting on circumcision, sabbath day, etc

First of all, let me tell you who I am.

I don't go to church unless its a cross-over night. Thats who I am. You are free to judge me.

Now to the reason behind the questionic title above, (Is it proper for a Christian couple to watch porn together before having sex?), last week sunday, in the morning, I was inside my room having my usual sunday-lic rest in preparation for the new week, when the loud speakers of a C.A.C church adjacent my house started blarring in its typical we-are-doing-sunday-school-service things.

Frustrated and angry at the same time, I grabbed my phone and begin to play game. Suddenly, I heard someone, probably from the congregation, asking the sunday school teacher the question I posted above and that was what caught my interest. I was curious to know what answer the teacher would give.
But unfortunately, I couldn't hear anything again. I guess the teacher had decided to answer the question without using microphone.

Good evening. Please I need help, I have being coughing for up to four years now and it isn't giving any sign that it will go any time some.

I have done all tests that could reveal what the problem is but till date, I haven't gotten any solution. The cough started January 4, 2015 and till now, it hasn't gone. I have also done HIV test inclusive of the tests I carried out and it's negative.

I have used all drugs including traditional drugs. All recommended drugs I have used but no cure. My doctors are tired of me because 80% of my visit to the hospital is because of cough. I have being embarrassed severally due to this cough.

The only funny thing about this cough is that when I sleep at night, I will never cough throughout the night until I wake up in the morning. This has been the case for the past 4 years. Sometimes, after coughing for so long and I get tired, I just go to sleep and I will be fine. But once I wake up, it starts again.

Please anyone with valuable information on how I can get cure for this cough. I'm fed-up coughing for 4 years and still ongoing.

Currently Nigeria is battling with poverty, illiteracy, poor health care, hunger etc and yet Recently a man of God launched one of the biggest church Auditorium in the world with millions of dollars... He did this not because he likes the people and want to save their soul.. if he loved the people he would feed them, clothe them, send the wards of wretched families to school.. . He did this because he loved himself more.. Big Auditorium equals bigger proceeds from offering, tithes, seed of faith.. And he is not the only one... Currently more than 5 out of the top ten richest pastors are from Nigeria... What have they done for the society that made them NOTHING... Our church is rotten and i pray Nigerians will see this one day.. I stopped giving my money to the church a long time ago.. Maybe if all Nigerians stopped like me, we will be able to frustrate the bad eggs from the ministry but as of now, the church is a business, it is rotten.

Point of correction. The Antichrist is not a person, it's a spirit that will possess the beast and his wrath is different from the vials, plagues etc of God.

Now if I were going to explain this script for you using the Bible. The Serpent was a wise Beast or the King of the Jungle who approaches the woman (Lilith as they called him in another page) who is obviously aged than Adam in a romantic relationship, while Adam (the child of God) is sex starved.

Breakdown to the state
