That doesn't need to change but it can be better,

1. Add Night mode, this will switch the background to black which is easy on the eyes at night, users can toggle on off

2. Add a bit of self moderation by adding a dislike button (when a comment has so many disikes, a moderator manually access if it should be hidden, users can still view the comment if clicked

3. An email system should be designed, communication stays on nairaland instead of third part email (all nairaland user get a user@nairaland.com email after 6 months of active usage provided the haven't been banned more than thrice,.

4. Build a robust ad management system, from creation, funding , moderation,

5.make it easy to share, the share button can be linked to whatsapp, fb, tiktok, IG, so when someone click on share they can also share outside the platform
a short url like naira.land will also make sharing easy

6. native ios/app with great push feature

7. Add some other Africa countries section based on data and traffic from those countries



maybe more later if I think of more but these will increase traffic(currently <30million Monthly according to similarweb ) by atleast 30% within 9.5 month

CNN, BBC and the rest are very predictable, they go in any direction the EU and the US goes to. Al jazeera on the other hand is not fully predictable, example is the coverage of the Russian-Ukraine war, the Iranians protest and the china- Taiwan coverage where they have only leaned towards the oppressed side. .

I saw it coming. Aljazeera and Euronews are my favourite news channels because of their focus on documentary news reporting, which I like so much. However, they are always pro-arab against Israel or US interests. I have watched how they have been reporting the Gaza war with emphasis on the Palestinian casualties. Their coverage of Israeli casualties are sparingly done and puts more emphasis on making the viewer see Israel as the aggressor. Nevertheless, they remain my number one news channel.

Same way CNN and BBC have been underreporting the Palestinians plights.

We can say the same for major US, Uk and EU news and websites. Media nowadays are for agenda setting. That’s the truth.

If Al jazeera among world news choose to be the only one to be pro-arab, I support it!, its a good one. We can’t be feeding on one-way cra,p from the other side every time.

And to be honest, despite being pro-arab, Al-jazeera is more balanced than others. They have been reporting every Russian attrocities, Iran protests, Assad attrocities in Syria and all. They are fairly better than the others.
