Relax... It"s a positive feedback. Most embassies in Nigeria don't have time to call applicants.
By the way... Your visa application is approved. Your visa is being completed and has been issued. So you are going to receive your visa tomorrow.

How do we know if its a positive response as the embassy did not call anyone of us for any kind of questioning. Brother, nobody hard on you. I think people were given you a concrete advise on this matter.
The agent deceives your friend in the first place and he risk his chance of getting visas for your friend.. I believe if your friend seeks help from people on this forum I bet he wouldnt fall victim by the agent.
Now, your friend don't know the outcome of the visa application.
Do you realize people are banned after being accused of fake documents to obtain Schengen Visa? Especially
people who fell victim to the travel agency that promised them visas.
My advise is tell your friend to find out the outcome of the previous application before making a new application.

Why did you go through an agent? Why can't make an enquiry by yourself instead of using agency? Becareful and dont put your sister into TROUBLE... Canada don't joke with fake documents.

That is means you are still in "Nigeria" For your information, I am a frequent traveler, I left Nigeria more than a decade ago and I have been to the below countries in alphabetical order: Australia, France, Germany, Kenya, New Zealand, Malaysia, UAE, US and I just came back from Mauritius for a vacation last month.
Also, you mentioned if I am not ready to take a bold risk like him. Why would I take a risk when I have genuine documents. I know you must be a crook agent that deceives people here so he can risk his chances of getting visas but I know you do not have any knowledge in visa acquisition. I believe if the guy seeks help from you I bet you may complete his application forms with false information that will rather risk his chances of getting visas now and in the future.

Bro reasons very well oo because when these schengen embassies discovered you submitted fake documents you Re liable for 10 years ban and they will send your passport to alagbon CID for pick up.

Ha! Agent asked you to bring only your international passport and passport photographs? But the agent didn't tell you to include your personal bank statement? I'm 101% sure that your agent will use a forged documents for you. BE WISE UP

The only document I’m asked to bring by the agent is just my international passport and passport photograph

You still need to be patient little more which I believe you will receive a good news this month.
By the way your application is not up to 4 months from the date you submitted... Its just 3 months and 4 days. I wish you a good luck

Please bro, never go through any agent again... they have damage people's lives... I believe you are in a right channel now ( nairaland ) to prepare for your next travel package. So I will advise you to suspend your visa application until early next year. That is best advise I can give you.

I knew getting a travel itinerary for visa application is the most difficult and confusing part of the visa process. Consulates insist on providing confirmed flight and hotel bookings. But they do not recommend purchasing an actual ticket. They just want an itinerary. Did you see how confusing is that?

Often times the embassies ask for one of these –

Flight tickets
Flight itinerary
Flight confirmation
Confirmed flight tickets
Confirmed flight itinerary
Round trip flight tickets
Proof of onward travel

They all mean the same thing. “Flight tickets”. Consulates understand the fact that a visa application does not result in a guaranteed approval. Therefore, they only recommend you to “hold” a flight reservation, not actually “purchase” the flight tickets.

God forbid... If your visa application is denied or delayed, you will lose the money that you have spent on the flight tickets. Airlines and insurance providers do not consider visa denial as a reason for refund claims. So, do not purchase your flight tickets until your visa application is approved.

Your brother should send all the documents to his mother by post (DHL or other couriers service)
Then your mother can go to any of these submission centre between VFS Abuja or VFS Lagos to submit in person

The amount to pay yout monthly rent is enough to pay for one year rent in Nigeria. Remember that if you will get a job as a student, you are only permited to work 20 hours a week which is just to pay for your rent, medical insurance, feed and maybe buy grocery. Remember you will stay 3 to 6 months before you can get a job depending on grace that follows you. There is no financial helper in abroad. Everyone is on your own. The earlier you know the truth the better you make an informed decision. I never said that coming abroad is bad but make a concrete plans towards that and don't come with the mindset that there are jobs and money everywhere. There are our brothers and sisters that are doing well in Medical and IT sections. Dont be deceived that lots of white women like black men. Don't be deceived that you will get who to marry immediately you come. Most of the women that like black men are old enough to be your mother. Hi everyone, pardon me that my question is quite out of place but I really do need answers as I do not know where else to check.

In 2013, I was issued a fine of overstay of 1500Rand on my way back to Nigeria. But I didn’t bother paying the fine till date. My question is, can I still pay the fine today? ( please note that I was robbed 2015 here in Nigeria so I don’t have the passport anymore).

Secondly, applying for another country’s permanent residency, will this affect me since I have not paid the fine. I do want to pay the fine now but I don’t know where exactly I should.

Also, is there a clause that says if you don't pay a fine, you're automatically be ban for a number of years? This is because someone advised that I don't need to pay again since it’s more than 5years.

Even if it was 10 years ago you would still be paying... remember they have your full details and they have recorded it on their system. The only way you can escape these fine if your details has changed.
Where the fine can be paying? You can only be paying the fine at the any point of entry in south Africa.

19k rands not enough for both you and your son.. j remember when I invited my wife to SA in 2014... my account balance I printed was 38k rands and the visa was given for her.
You can reapply if the account still running with sufficient balance of 35 -40k rands balance... But if the account doesn't have much please dont reapply. It's better you wait for 2 to 3 months before applying again and that would give your husband enough time to run the account.

Hi! , been a ghost member for a while, had to voice out today cos my SA visa got denied on friday, I met my South African gf while we were in Dubai, she got pregnant along the line but she’s back in SA now and and I’m back in Nigeria too cos I lost my job in Dubai due to covid but I’m planning to join my gf in SA so i can support her and be there for her. Please, you need to be more transparent to the people here. I am surprised when you said you dont have access to the documents you used for the application... It seems you gave the application for the crook agent. In the first place why can't to follow this forum and seek for a advice instead you allowed the agent to give you wrong advised. Whenever I sent invitation letter and supporting documents to my people I always included proof of my resident as form of accommodation. So I dont use hotel for them.

Anytime a visa application was refused, there is always a chance that something was not done right. It could either you did not submit sufficient documents establishing your economic and social circumstances.
