Dont know your computer level but seriously its a malware . Wonder what anti virus you use and even if its updated. However. Try this following. If it works fine and ok. Else you might have to take it for physical checking. Step1. Disable any suspicious startup items. For Windows XP: Step: Click Start menu -> click Run -> type: msconfig in the search bar -> open System Configuration Utility -> Disable all possible startup items including those of banners site. Step2. Remove add-ons: Internet Explorer: 1) Go to Tools -> ‘Manage Add- ons’; 2) Choose ‘Search Providers’ -> choose ‘Bing’ search engine or ‘Google’ search engine and make it default; 3) Select ‘Search Results’ and click ‘Remove’ to remove it; 4) Go to ‘Tools’ -> ‘Internet Options’; select ‘General tab’ and click website, e.g. Google.com. Click OK to save changes. Google Chrome 1) Click on ‘Customize and control’ Google Chrome icon, select ‘Settings’; 2) Choose ‘Basic Options’; 3) Change Google Chrome’s homepage to google.com or any other and click the ‘Manage Search Engines…’ button; 4) Select ‘Google’ from the list and make it your default search engine; 5) Select ‘Search Result’ from the list to remove it by clicking the ‘X’ mark. Mozilla Firefox 1) Click on the magnifier’s icon and select ‘Manage Search Engine…’; 2) Choose ‘Search Results’ from the list and click ‘Remove’ and OK to save changes; 3) Go to ‘Tools’ -> “Options”. Reset the startup homepage or change it to google.com under ‘General tab; |

cutisman50: HELP... HELP..... HELP...flashing or formatting would not help anything. Does your system heat up? If it does then Your system is overheating and trips off so as not to fry your motherboard. Its either your system fan is bad and needs replacement or is clogged with lots of dirt. Also conflicting hardware or inappropriate device driver installation might cause the tripping. Make sure you check and see you are using the manufacturer's recommended drivers. |

ifyalways: I use firefox. Yes i can view images on different sites and even on gmail. This just happens only on yahoo mail. Yahoo shine,news and others are OK as i can view images/videos.ok. Lets try a total reset. It would return fire fox to its default settings. How do I reset Firefox to its default state? 1. At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox button, go over to the Help sub- menu and select Troubleshooting Information. Troubleshooting info - win 2. Click the Reset Firefox… button in the upper-right corner of the Troubleshooting Information page. Reset Firefox - 3. To continue, click Reset Firefox in the confirmation window that opens. 4. Firefox will close and be reset. When it's done, a window will list the information that was imported. Click Finish and Firefox will open. |

Choose properties and at the top right hand corner select device manager. Open it and see it your network adapters are installed. I.e there's no yellow marks on any device. |

Skrhema: [color=#990000][/color] My Samsung laptop will not eject any disk, giving a message that there is an error in ejecting d disk. Even when I use paper clip to force it open, still d disk will load nor will it eject. Can any body help. My email skrhema7988@gmail.comyour rom is bad. The flex is probably screwed. You might need to buy a new one or take it to a certified engineer. |

The External HD still appears as a local disk (RAW file), a format which Windows is unable to mount.still mobile but got this step by step method of the site. If TestDisk is not yet installed, it can be downloaded from TestDisk Download. Extract the files from the archive including the sub-directories. To recover a lost partition or repair the filesystem from a hard disk, USB key, Smart Card, etc., you need enough rights to access a physical device.ng Under Windows, start TestDisk (ie testdisk-6.13/ testdisk_win.exe ) from an account in the Administrator group. Under Vista, right-click testdisk_win.exe and then "Run as administrator" to launch TestDisk.Choose None if you do not want messages and details of the process to be written into a log file (useful if for example Testdisk was started from a read-only location). Press Enter to proceed.Disk selection All hard drives should be detected and listed with the correct size by TestDisk: Use up/down arrow keys to select your hard drive with the lost partition/s. Press Enter to Proceed TestDisk displays the partition table types. Select the partition table type - usually the default value is the correct one as TestDisk auto- detects the partition table type. Press Enter to Proceed. Current partition table status TestDisk displays the menus Use the default menu "Analyse" to check your current partition structure and search for lost partitions. Confirm at Analyse with Enter to proceed. Now, your current partition structure is listed. Examine your current partition structure for missing partitions and errors The first partition is listed twice which points to a corrupted partition or an invalid partition table entry. Invalid NTFS boot points to a faulty NTFS boot sector, so it's a corrupted filesystem. Only one logical partition (label Partition 2) is available in the extended partition. One logical partition is missing. Confirm at Quick Search to proceed. Quick Search for partitions Confirm according to your OS and created partitions to proceed. TestDisk displays the first results in real time. quick search (click on thumb to display the image). During the Quick Search, TestDisk has found two partitions including the missing logical partition labeled Highlight this partition and press p to list your files (to go back to the previous display, press q to Quit). All directories and data are correctly listed. Press Enter to proceed. Save the partition table or search for more partitions? Still a bit technical. Try it out if however it does not recover the partition you might have to wait a lil longer or take it to a certified technician. Sometimes there's a limit to those diy routines. |

Stop whining. It all boils down to abuse posiitions and power. How many times has seun deliberately edited posts responding to his comments. He once edited a personal comment i made to him which was in no way offensive. He doesn't have a right to chide another person when in this position he has little or no clue of what the real issues are. As far as i am concerned this is trying to save face .I don't support all these over bearing powers and We really need more transparency on the forum. |

I forgot to mention the ext HD appears as a RAW file when viewed from disk management.can you wait till tomorrow when i can get my system running and get you the steps. for the first setup. Also open command prompt. Type chkdsk i: then press enter. Give a feedback. Also in command prompt. Type diskpart and press enter. Next type list disk . Is your external hard disk listed? |

You can go to shops that have a name to protect and offer warranties or guaranty on goods bought. They are less likely to sell fake products as they know people would return them. MManuel: People make this mistake toooooo muchyeah. Thanks for pointing it out. I was using a phone and never cross checked before posting. The words this and these are used before singular and plural nouns respectively. In the case above the subject "words" carries an 's' thus making it plural. This as used up there is incorrect and should have been these. Examples, These cars and not This cars. These houses are painted blue and not this houses are painted blue. Thanks once again .
