hercules07: Fashola should apologise for reuniting people with their families, where was the governor of Anambra state to accept his people, even if it was at 1am, was it too much for Obi to have some social workers wait for them?Fashola should actually do more than apologizing. He has to close down the concentration camp where he warehouses innocent Nigerians captured in their own country illegally. Secondly, he has to account for those people who died while in that holding camp. The deportees alleged that some people died there, and that they were held there for 2 years. He has to account for that. Finally, he should pay compensation to those whose constitutional rights he violated with impunity. Failing to do these will destroy him politically in Nigeria, making him a political leper at the center; unless he has no presidential ambitions. If he doubts the power of a sectional grudge in Nigeria, he should go and ask Abiola. One Igboman named Arthur Nzeribe made sure that Abiola's dream never materialized. A word is enough for the wise. |
Rhino.5dm:Didn't know I was wasting my time with a freaking Ghanaian. How dare you comment on Nigerian affairs? Nwokem get off ma thread! |
Ogojohn: And who told you that S0LUDO will be the candidate of choice in APGA albeit ANAMBRA state.. It is too early to make that conclusion. stop being selfish. We are all prognosticating here, thats all. And in that line of thought, I know that Anambra State citizens HATE zoning with a passion. We don't like it because it will bring MEDIOCRITY to our beloved state. We want the best, and only the best. It is a popular opinion in Nigeria, Igboland, SE, and Anambra that Soludo is a very formidable candidate and a great leadership material for Anambra state at this time, to continue the "all-sector development" that Peter Obi instituted through ANIDS. If I were to take a selfish position, I would support Ifeanyi Uba my townsman. So let us stop strange clannish tendencies because it is alien to Anambra and will not serve us well. Vote for CC Soludo, the Solution! ![]() |
ndu_chucks: (1)This support for Soludo proves conclusively that GEJ is an unprincipled politician who puts his personal interests above that of his own part and who has no issue whatsoever with prostitution.I correctly predicted nearly ALL political outcomes in Nigeria for years now. I can see political trajectories and curvatures very clearly. I even foresaw this Soludo move even before he actually made the move. I believe that I am one of the reasons Soludo is very popular in Nairaland. Go back to the last Anambra guber elections here in Nairaland and see my posts then. I believe in the man and have constantly made his case here. As for GEJ losing in 2015, all I can say is DREAM ON BRO. As long as Anthony Anenih is the PDP BOT chair, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. All things being equal. ![]() |
alpha conde: I hope the legislators contesting will resign before the polls. Someone please clarify this.I hope so too, though I doubt it. They are elected for their tenure. They only resign if they win another position. |
Ogojohn: Are you indirectly saying that if a pdp candidate wins it wont be in the interest of the president? On what honour will you hold S0LUDO that he will not renege on his support to Jonathan if elected.? secondly are you suggesting that the president is playing anti party activity? Hmmm. i beg to differ. It is not about what Soludo may do (or not do) to support Jonathan in 2015. It is rather what ANAMBRA VOTERS will do in 2015. APGA is silently GEJ leaning. That will continue to be so if GEJ supports the best in APGA to emerge and win. PDP is not popular or organized well at the local level in Anambra state. If GEJ supports an unpopular candidate, that candidate will lose, and drag Jonathan along in his loss. Not smart politics. So, either way, once GEJ supports Soludo (a clearly credible candidate), Anambra voters will remember that in 2015. BTW I don't believe that Soludo will turn against GEJ (his chief supporter). Nigerian presidents are too powerful to fall victim of such scams. Ask Amaechi. |
Soludo remains the best in Anambra. If Jonathan supports the best, the people will be appreciative of that, and return the favor in 2015. |
His days are numbered. |
I totally agree. |
hehe, now this is really hilarious. Nza the bird is baiting his CHI to a fight after enjoying a really good dish. ![]() Well, abeg wey my popcorn sef. |
It is only smart that GEJ supports APGA and supports Soludo to win Anambra. It is in HIS interest to do so. |
Rhino.5dm:Hmm, very interesting! Apparently you are saying that Nigeria is fraudulent then. Thanks for the info. LOL @ "LEAVE MY WIFE OUT OF THIS!! " hehe! BTW I am NOT seeking to "have it both ways". I am only testing and proving a hypothesis I had when I came here newly, and MOST OF YOU fought me on that. Now you seem to be making the case yourself. lol Well, I am not in the business of saying "good morning". I love Nigeria, but I love Biafra even more because Biafra represents TRUTH. |
OPC.NAIRALAND:I know you are a little slow, but please increase your mental effort a little to grasp the point. We have a constitution in Nigeria, and it is VERY CLEAR regarding Nigerian citizens rights. Very clear. The issue then becomes, do you accept that constitution or not? Acceptance -> heads; non-acceptance -> tails. Now you can mask it all you like but it always boils down to this simple fact. Do you want me to break it down for you more? Atulu. LOL ![]() |
OPC.NAIRALAND:And in your opinion you are pulling the faster one abi? ![]() Who told you that I have not scored one already above you? ![]() This is how you always dribble yourself to a tight corner, and then start shouting "go back to your land" after I have won the game. ![]() |
SNOWWHITE240: two of u ar useless tribal entities in nigeria trying to split d country up i will arrest two of u for incisive statementsMy friend if you have nothing to contribute here please leave this thread. And while you are leaving, please seriously consider going to a proper school. Thank you. |
Rhino.5dm:You made some smart points, but I disagree with the bolded point. And NO, Soludo did not make any mistake by leaving PDP. In fact Soludo's leaving of PDP is his smartest political move by far till date. Ndi Anambra are only tolerating PDP for now; PDP has no good image in Anambra state. So, Soludo would never have won Anambra using PDP ticket (assuming he ever got it!).LOL. As for this election, Anambra state is NOT buying any zoning bull crap. Just watch. If APGA fields a nonentity, the party will lose in November, to Ngige, or maybe even improve Ifeanyi Ubas chances. Anambra politics is very very creepy and cunning. One thing I know is that Anambra citizens will never vote based on zoning. As for Soludo, I believe he should slug it out in APGA (and when Obi sees that APGA may lose all), he will cave in. BTW Jonathan is interested in APGA or PDP victory in Anambra state. |
Like i said earlier, truth is like a coin; it is either heads or tails. Heads -> truth; Tails -> false! |
Femi Falana has this to say: "Accordingly, the forceful removal of beggars from their chosen abode and repatriation to their states of origin are illegal and unconstitutional as they violate the fundamental rights of such citizens enshrined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended. In particular, deportation is an affront to the human rights of the beggars to dignity of their persons (Section 34), personal liberty (Section 35), freedom of movement (Section 41), and right of residence in any part of Nigeria (Section 43). Furthermore, the deportation of beggars and other poor people by the Federal and State Governments is a repudiation of section 15 of the Constitution which has imposed a duty on the State to promote national integration. Since the political objective of the State imposes a duty on the governments to “secure full residence rights for every citizen in all parts of the Federation” it is illegal to remove poor people from the streets of state capitals without providing them with alternative accommodation. By targetting beggars and the destitute and deporting them to their states of origin the state governments involved are violating Section 42 of the Constitution which has outlawed discrimination on the basis of place of birth or state of origin. " -Falana |
Aigbofa: You simply cannot have it both ways as well. Shout one Nigeria whenever it is favourable to you and Biafra whenever it is not.Like I told your brother; I was really happy and calm until your brother Fashola decided to openly violate the Nigerian constitution, and the so called leaders in Nigeria are not condemning him. some are even paying him homage! May God bless Dr Faseheun and Femi Falana. I want truth in Nigeria; is that too much to ask? And if that truth is too much to ask, then YES I would want to have Biafra, even if I lose all my investments in Lagos. Why is this so hard for some of you? |
Rhino.5dm:YOU call me a hypocrite? LOL I have LANDED PROPERTY IN LAGOS and eying another in Ogun state, and have investment in Lagos. ![]() You have NO land in Port Harcourt, even though you conduct business abundantly in Port Harcourt and are married to a Port Harcourt IGBO lady. You cannot put your money where your mouth is; and you dare call me a hypocrite? Wonders shall never end! ![]() My friend like I said, I am very much comfortable in the Nigerian nation (though only financially), but I HATE the LIES. I would rather have TOTAL comfort which comes with TRUTH. In Biafra I will have TOTAL comfort. I want Nigeria to give me total comfort by EMBRACING THE TRUTH. I am addicted to truth. Is that too much to ask? Is that hypocrisy to you? Omo your brain is really warped. |
mikeansy: The only person Soludo should be scared of is Peter ObiFor APGA (and maybe Peter Obi) the issue is really simple: Are they prepared to lose the guber election? Anambra guber politics is very funny. Currently, a LOT of people are buoyed and are warming up to vote APGA because of Soludo's clout and credibility. If Obi imposes Obaze or other Anambra North person (whom we can't find in the Soludo'esque' mold) APGA will lose to either Ngige or Ifeanyi Uba. PDP still can't win this election; I just don't see that happening. So, if APGA loses, PDP loses too. But is APGA ready to lose? I actually fear that Peter Obi may not care what happens to APGA after his exit from the scene; in the absence of Ojukwu, I'm not so sure about APGA's leadership base. So, Obi may be planning to destroy APGA before leaving by fielding a losing APGA candidate and then joining PDP afterwards; he said he won't contest elections again, so does he really care what happens to APGA after his exit? The whole thing is fluid. Yes I fear for Soludo, and if I were close to him, I would advise him to watch Obi closely. PDP should thread very carefully though, because this can turn into a lose lose for APGA and PDP. If APGA loses Anambra to APC for instance, there is no way for PDP to win Anambra in the presidential elections in 2015. Calculus calculus. |
This has nothing to do with my belief (or lack of) in the Nigerian nation. For me, if Nigeria stays together, I will go on seeping my brandy. If it breaks, I will actually pop a cognac. ![]() What I HATE is the LIES. Lets face the truth for once! |
