I've seen quite a number of pics from people's profile on NL. For ladies/girls : UsherGurl and Snazzydawn - so far, I bet I'll see more later. For guys/men:dejiolowe is cool, I can't see Seun's pic very well, but he sure looks OK too. The other girls/ladies and guys I've seen sure look pretty cool too. Everyone is a winner in this one. |
What's all these Igbo hype? Abeg make we get some fresh air....what's with this Igbo thing sef? make una tell me o... |
http://www.vanguardngr.com/articles/2002/headline/f109022006.html Dariye said he shared all the loots he stole with OBJ and Dariye..... I bet he did not give them enough to let him off the hook... Terrible country. |
chrisd:.......but that's the way your Pope operates too? right? I hear you Catholics see him as a deity - a demigod, of a sort. |
But, surely it's a fruitless effort doing all to bare your mind on so many problems bedevilling the society only to find out that no one's listening - not even the people who are supposed to take actions. For me, it will gladen my heart to know that people like Okonjo and OBJ are reading what I'm saying - and I don't care if they'll send SSS or any of their machines men to fetch me, I'll gladly go and tell them the truth - to their face!! |
Gosh! for christ's sake, I hope you read through that site. http://christianparty.net/divorceworld.htmand All they published in there were the results of careful, meticulous research and statistical facts about the divorce problems in the US. I hope you're a christian, cause if you are not, then, I'll terminate this discussion of ours. We know that the US, and their laws, was founded on Godly principles until of late when they began to embrace terrible and warped patterns of lifestyles and laws. So, if you are not a christian just say so, then, believe me, I will not join issues with you on this matter again. |
There are reports of an outbreak of H5N1 Avian flu in chickens in the North of Nigeria and possibly in the Federal Territory. It is important to put the human risk into perspective. H5N1 is a disease of poultry, and it's spread to Africa was inevitable as it is known to be carried by migrating birds from areas that are already infected. The human form of disease caused by H5N1 has occurred in a small percentage of poultry handlers who have significant contact with infected chickens or to inhalation or ingestion of their infected faeces. There is no evidence of a public health risk from eating chicken meat, other poultry or their eggs. They are safe to eat. The simple health advice to reduce any negligible risk to an absolutely insignificant risk is: 1. Observe good hygiene practice and wash hands after touching chickens or other live poultry 2. Ensure chicken or other poultry is cooked properly. A temperature of 70'C thoroughly kills the virus and is easily obtained in properly cooked chicken. 3. Do not eat "pink" chicken, or if there is bleeding on cutting the meat 4. Cook eggs properly after washing them 5. Wash hands before and after touching raw meat, eggs or other foodstuffs 6. Ensure you do not cross contaminate other foods with raw chicken or other meats |
OK, You want facts on divorce and others, here's some: 1) http://www.divorcemag.com/statistics/statsWorld.shtml 2) http://christianparty.net/divorceworld.htmand this chart http://christianparty.net/usdivgdp.gif Facts on Bestiality: 1) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historical_and_cultural_perspectives_on_zoophilia - and when you are reading that one, note this: "Bestiality and zooerastia merely present in a more marked and profoundly perverted form a further degree of the same phenomenon which we meet with in erotic zoophilia; the difference is that they occur either in more insensitive or in more markedly degenerate persons [...] In seeking to comprehend this perversion it is necessary to divest ourselves of the attitude toward animals which is the inevitable outcome of refined civilization and urban life. Most sexual perversions, if not in large measure, is the actual outcome of civilized life, easily adjust themselves to it. Bestiality [with one exception] is, on the other hand, the sexual perversion of dull, insensitive and unfastidious persons. It flourishes among primitive peoples and among peasants. It is the vice of the clodhopper, unattractive to women..." 2) http://www.wesleyjsmith.com/blog/2005/08/bestiality-and-varied-attacks-on-human.html So, knowing all these, I wonder why some states in the US permit bestiality in their domains! Answers is not far fetched: Exposure to sex education at a tender age, misplaced priorities, over exposure to adult related matters in the name of getting smart at an early age, refined civilisation and urban life. And as an advice: http://en.bibleinfo.com/topics/topic.html?id=20 Now all these ones contributed to my conclusion that the american way of life - your social values, norms, public behaviour or behavioural attitude, are the worst the world over. |

I have been thinking, for some time now, how we could channel most of our interesting replies to major national and sometimes international issues to the appropriate quarters. By quarters, I mean, relevant ministries, bodies and government parastatals. I want to suggest that the site admin should come up with a way of posting some of these replies of our's to appropriate quarters. He should be the one to filter such replies and send them to these people. I just hope I'm not creating extra wahala for Seun. Sometimes I have these feelings that no one's listening to what people are saying. Hence, the need for this. For example, the thread on Debt Relief generated some interesting replies and I felt these replies should go to the finance ministry or minister for action. There are other interestiing threads too that generated some wonderful contributions. I hope in the end, these ministries and parastatals will see these our replies as the opinions of the generality of the people. What do NL people think about this? |
Lest I forget, are you American or Nigerian? Hopefully, that will make me take the next line of action. |
WesleyanA:Surely, that bold quote is from me. And I thot I've given enough reasons why THIS view of mine is TRUE. And I think we've deviated somewhat from the real crux of this matter: No Under-aged Girls Wanted Here (Romance Forum) Please, right? And, I've tried to make you see reasons why underage Girls (to me, this means girls below 18. No matter how brilliant and exposed they may be. And I stand by that: Girls under 18 are underage) should not venture into this romance section. And I'll advise Seun to come up with a tool that will sense your age before allowing you to enter or not to enter into the romance section, as the case may be. And whether divorce is a social or sexual issue, and if a minority few practice bestiality in the US does not move me an inch. We both know Wes that all these social evils stems from people's inability to control their emotions and gluttony. Exposure to such things as sex and sexuality related discussions at an early age only add pep to the these social malaise. With all the sex education and all the marriage counselling thrash in the US, they still have the highest divorce rate in the world. The US without sex education some 100 years ago, wasn't like that, right? Did we have such stupendous divorce rate as at that time? NO. Were kids properly brought up during this period, YES. Some of the best of brains in the US including your retired Reserves Chairman, the Legendary Alan Greene, is of the old stock. Sex education has only aggravated the sexual problems and other social vices you have in the US. QED. |
