But 30 years later, Nigeria sought for and got a more trusted election system in electronic transmission of vote results from BVAS to INEC portal, spent billions of Naira to establish the system, but the system was sabotaged after voters had cast their votes in the presidential election of Feb 2023.
It's hard to understand why a normal person would accept what Mahmood Yakubu of INEC did after voters had cast their votes on Feb 25th 2023.

The truth is that Emefiele chose to act like Buhari's houseboy of his own free will, because he is a man without a spine, an iota of principle or any trace of a conscience. His responsibilities over the welfare of 200 million Nigerians be damned, Emefiele's sole concern was his own personal advancement, whether through squandering billions of USD in foreign reserves so Buhari's cronies could make risk-free profits via "round-tripping", shamelessly trying to run for President while retaining his position as CBN governor, or wrecking the livelihoods of millions of ordinary people in a harebrained "new Naira notes" scheme whose apparent justification was simply about making one particular Presidential candidate look bad in the run-up to voting.

Let's face it, if Emefiele were Yoruba or Fulani, you would be amongst the loudest voices on here condemning his long tenure of incompetence and outright criminality. The only reason you don't is because, as ever with so many of your mindset, it seems impossible for you to admit that any of your "kinsmen" can ever be to blame for anything, no matter what the facts indicate.

You routed yourself with your submission that Emefiele was Buhari's lapboy.
In other words, there was no way Emefiele could have implemented the currency swap if not by initiative and approval of Buhari.
So why not Tinubu go after Buhari the boss of Emefiele first? Tinubu's cowardice.

Edo has started again. This is completely unacceptable. It is against the children of those attending public schools, it has no effect on private schools pupils and students.

He could not get school buses to assist the students,

teachers and school staff, he is reducing schooling days for a state just trying to get out of scourge of prostitution and Yahoo plus that gained ground among Edo youths.

Edo people must reject this idea and work with their govt to ensure these children are in school. If you close to school gate, you open the prison gate!
Edo must resist this. It is a recipe to wipe out another generation of eco young ones.

To free themselves up from the vices or scourge you named in the bolded above, Edo state voters rejected APC during the last presidential election in Nigeria.
Many other states rejected APC in the polls, as the APC reduced Nigeria to become the poverty capital of the world. Poverty breeds prostitution and the other vices you named.
No lady without poverty ever takes to prostitution.
But your APC subverted the will of Edo voters and other voters in many states of Nigeria by brazenly STEALING the presidential election.

Nigeria's voters were rejecting APC in the polls of the last presidential election, but APC through its Mahmood Yakubu, on seeing that APC was losing, dumped the transparent electronic transmission of vote results from BVAS to INEC portal, he bent down to take his vomit by resorting to illegal manual collation of votes results to pronounce APC candidate winner. Mahmood had earlier vowed that no other method except electronic transmission of vote results should be used to conduct the general elections of February 2023.

Think: how many Nigeria's voters will go to trust INEC next time election is called out in Nigeria, if the present election fraud supervised by INEC is ratified to make your Tinubu choice remain president of Nigeria.

Good question.

The 1999 Constitution as amended, is crystal clear on Abuja and 25% of votes.
Even if a presidential candidate scores 25% of votes in all the 36 states of Nigeria but failed to score 25% of votes in Abuja federal capital territory, such a presidential candidate is not qualified to be pronounced president-elect, talk less, be president of Nigeria.
Nobody goes to administer a territory where he is not welcome; the drafters of the constitution took this into consideration for enactment of the 25% votes requirement from Abuja.
