To the Primate;

That revolution is the only thing that will be heard or seen in his home, "church" and life - there will always be turmoil and suffering in his life and family.

Silly, thinking you can open your mouth and talk nonesense

Thanks for this post. Im happy to see that some Nigerians know who the world's enemy is.

Do not be distracted by clones or Nigerians that have been promised "green" cards and their comments here - they are all doomed people
AutosRe: Chevrolet Blazer 2005 by Onwan: 4:43pm On Jan 18, 2010
Strange

Sorry for your troubles though.

I think you need to get hold of those samples and go to other places like Olowu, Owode-Onirin. If you are sure you still remember what it looks like, then you should go to Olowu and Owode-Onirin to look for it.

By the way, there is somewhere around Ojuelegba you can get parts for those American brands - Its to the left side of the Ojuelegba bridge, just ask around there too.

Let us know how it goes

PoliticsRe: Oshiomhole Threatens To Jail Anenih, Osunbor by Onwan: 12:36pm On Jan 18, 2010
He is a dead man.

One thing about those politicians is that, there is a stage they get to AND everythings sets in a different level.

Ribadu and elRufai tried Ibori and elRufai landed on Interpol's WANTED list. Its not necessarily the person they have problems with that will do things to them; its usually more like books are opened and people start hearing and seeing things they never did.

He is not an angel, we'll find out, like the others.
AutosRe: Chevrolet Blazer 2005 by Onwan: 11:56am On Jan 18, 2010
Thats my point Kunle, he or the mechanics might not know what the issue is; thats why Im giving out all the options. The mechanics tell you the autos have "hidden" clutch inside.

He might not know this - thats the whole point of enlightening him before he gets scammed
AutosRe: Chevrolet Blazer 2005 by Onwan: 11:40am On Jan 18, 2010
Maybe its a manual transmission
AutosRe: Chevrolet Blazer 2005 by Onwan: 11:21am On Jan 18, 2010
@Kunle-A
That picture below is what the poster is talking about. The production of that vehicle ceased in the US and is being produced in Brazil.

Its based on a rare (at least in Nigeria) second generation s-10 pick-up platform, The closest I think he can use as a replacement is a Chevy Tahoe.

@Poster
When you say, you have been looking for; are you saying mechanics removed the clutch plate and disc and gave it to you to go look for a replacement? OR you are just searching for it without holding a sample.

My advise will be for you to have an experienced mechanic remove the clutch plate and disc, then take it to Ladipo, Olowu AND Owode Onirin. You should get it in one of those places.

Hope this helps.

AutosRe: 2004 Bmw X5 by Onwan: 9:28am On Jan 18, 2010
@LeoT
Sorry if you we are trying to knock you. Its unfortunate you have to sell the ride against your wishes. The thing is that cars are sold basically on two levels from what I have experienced; they can sell a car to as what the car is worth OR as what YOU are worth. I think you bought that bimmer for a price they gave you based on their accessment of what you can afford AND not for what it should be sold for.

Actually, a forum like this helps open people's eyes to facts they would not ordinarily know and we all stand to gain from it one way or the other.

Facing reality however, I would advise that you drop the price of that vehicle to 1.7M - 1.9M so you can sell quickly and get it over with. Remember, the longer it stay with youn the lesser the value. I'm not telling you this because I'm buying - Its just a way of helping you know what you don't; afterall the link I posted above was a BMW like yours that was brought to me for a test drive and for sale as well.

I hope you understand
Car TalkRe: Drive To Nigeria From The Uk / Europe by Onwan: 4:24pm On Jan 17, 2010
@Funk Stein

cheesy
Please tell us you are just messing with us.

You must have a kind of mind-set to do this;

I mean, I watch this kind of stuff on Nat.Geo Adventure and I wonder what goes through the minds of those white people; this is Nigeria for instance, you are still pre-occupied with feeding one's self/family, business, vehicles, home AND someone wakes up to go mountain climbing?

You leave leave all the comfort of your home/hotel and head straight for the desert?, I mean you know how the Israelites prayed to get out of that murderfucker, and now you?

Anyways, those countries you are planning to route through are not particularly the problem, the problem is this Kidnapping thing - Its no joke. PLUS you better get yourself a very good satellite phone and lots of Airtime.

Here in Nigeria there is fuel scarcity, and you want to drive through Morocco?, Gambia?, (Is Libya there too?) well I hear Bin Laden is cooking up something along your route so you might wanna wear a beard or something, and a passport like Al Sayit or something

But seriously though, Are you really thinking of doing this?

Your brainbox is intact my friend;

The only thing that can make me doubt a brainbox that new is IF the vehicle was a flood vehicle before shipped to Nigeria.

When you are changing the gear at Owode, it will be changed with all accessories, sockets, sensors, etc. Thats why a presence of the buyer(or handler) is required.

I know Kunle can handle that for you.
Car TalkRe: My Nissan Armada Gear Has Problem: New or Tokunbo which is better by Onwan: 2:16pm On Jan 17, 2010
@Freshmoney

Thanks for your contribution, its all about helping someone in need.

The fact with all these "diagnostics" is that its NOT cheap, by the time you they start taking things apart to get to what they "think is faulty", you will feel bad because they will not put it back as was - simple carefulness they dont have; its all trial by error.

So my advise; get someone to look for it at Owode-Onirin and change it there and then.

No disrespect to Freshmoney, but my preference for Owode-Onirin is that you will see your model vehicle, they will remove the gear you want from it for you and replace your old one with it (then you'll strike a deal for the old one), In Ladipo, you dont see the vehicle, you only see the gear system complete - some are tokumbo, some will be JUST THE ONE YOU ARE TRYING TO GET RID OF.

Hope y'all understand.

Kunle sells cars, (I have bought 2 from him) PLUS he moves around a lot especially around Owode-Onirin. He is a guy with great integrity, thats why I let him close deals on my behalf.

He can do the leg work for you IF you are serious about it, he will take care of it for you, NO STORIES; I can say that for him. You best talk to him, and forget about him in any funny dealings, just forget all that completely. 0703 5855 078

This is the best way I can help you.

I disagree with the pricing you have in mind, and totally with your concept of exotic cars and their transmission being more expensive than the engines (Complete engine for that matter).

When you get to Owode Onirin, you will understand what I'm talking about. I am not sure I will be able to go there to do the search for you immediately - Its only on my way in/out of Ikorodu BUT you can reach this DBudget Limited guy, he gets Autos from that place at very good pricing;

Kunle - 0703 5855 078, he can do the job for you. Once located, you should go and confirm and do it quickly. The good thing about that place is that you will see lots of models and parts, they simply remove and buy back yours.

I will advise you leave the vehicle as is till you change the gear. If you continue driving it using 3, it MIGHT strain the engine system - Im sure you know what that will lead to.
PoliticsRe: Usa And Canada Sendng Troops To Haiti. US:10,000 Troops seriously? by Onwan: 1:38pm On Jan 17, 2010
The US (the world's terrorist) has been looking for a way to mount a military base there since Russia is partnering with Venezuela and has a parade of weapons last year.

America is trying to do this everywhere in the world.Which makes me NOT 100% sure that "Earthquake" was natural. I beleive they can stage anything to get an instance of proving themselves as "Helpful"

Those f.aggo.ts should be shot on sight.

As a matter of fact, what the f.u.ck?
Car TalkRe: My Nissan Armada Gear Has Problem: New or Tokunbo which is better by Onwan: 1:15pm On Jan 17, 2010
My advise;

If you want to spend money on repairs; it will cost you too much and still might not make any change.

1. Have them scan/check your brainbox to confirm there are no sensor problems relating to transmission. You will be shocked how the brainbox can limit a vihicle's speed or disable movement.

2. IF there are no issues up there, then simply go to Owode - Onirin; you will get accident OR recovered Nissan Armada there and ask for the complete gear. Its not as expensive as you may be thinking. I priced the complete engine of an '07 armada (Infiniti QX56), it was 320k - COMPLETE ENGINE.

You do not need to go waste money at the so-called Nissan "Center" to change the gear - you buy, they replace ASAP - no stories, you will see it all.

Hope this helps.
