I would appreciate if you can explain the term "419 Ibo Muslim", there are three terms there; 419, Ibo and Muslim - I am Ibo, an Onwan and Im proud to be that by all means, standards and in whatever condition and situation; My concern is why you have to mention 419, are you saying;

I would have bought the Range Rover advertised by Wellas (03/04) BUT my problem is the Air suspension. Its better in the recent models than the early ones.

If only there is another SUV that has that "Driver's ride" feeling like the Range Rover without the air-spring. Most SUVs are basically enjoyed by those sitting in the back or in the passenger's seat, BUT with the Range Rover (especially from 1999/2000) once in the driver's seat, you simply realise the vehicle is all about the driver - Its full, comfy, all gadgets within a very comfortable reach, the front wind shield is below your chest (way below) so you sit like ON the road, and ON top, not having to stretch to see or stress in anyway.

Is there any other SUV with that config? especially the dash layout and the front shield being that low (almost at your waist.)

I wont mind if anyone can recommend.

I mean you wouldn't say TATA Group compromised the standards when they bought Range Rover in 2008.

The amazing thing is that the 2008/2009/2010 models of Jaguar and Range Rovers have very very high ratings.

Tata group from what I have seen are basically investors;

They buy a company - Telecoms (Just like they just bought Multilinks), Car Manufacturing, etc, they get the best hands and improve on a brand - NOT KILL IT.

Buying Jaguar doesn't mean bringing down the quality.

Its usually a smart move IF you buy a company (Car brand for instance) and you decide to replace the engine with a more accessible (easily repaired and parts availability) one. I absolutely have no problems with that. Afterall they havent changed the name to Tata - AND they are not making them in Tata Auto Plants.

Its all about specifications; Engine makers will put your badge on whatever specs. you ask them to make. Its simple. The question will be if the new owners will compromise the existing standard/quality. Tata Group are big and they are really huge - financially.

There is this guy on Nairaland that does this buying of stuff for people from the US and ship to you in Nigeria; I had him pick things for me worth about $300.00 (barely 50k that wont even buy my cheapest handset here); It took 2 weeks for the order to be processed - then I called the customer service number of the company and they passed me to the owner - you know what his excuse was?? - He said because the guy was buying "so much" they had to "check him out" and "check" his credit card. Can you imagine an insult more than this? Nigerians tell me? You are probably reading this from your phone or laptop - worth more than $800, you are in your living room with a TV worth about $800, you are probably wearing a wristwatch worth about that and some fool is delaying your proxy order because your man was suspected as he was making a purchase of $300.00 ??

Why do you think all of a sudden shipping via FEDEX to Nigeria costs so much - Hello !!

A silly company like Western Union will tell Nigerians that even with your millions, you cannot send $1.00 overseas. They imposed economic sanctions on Nigeria  - BY Helping countries like the US limit and control our financial transactions. Why do you think when the recession got them they quickly opened all financial gateway with the south American countries AFTER calling them the "most corrupt"

Its really very frustrating when I just sit and think of the kind of insults you get hurled at you by what that naughty person and his girlfriends did to us and our image. You have enough cash to buy a silly store stocking wristwatches BUT the "Manager" there tells you he cant ship a $30.00 Casio wristwatch to you because he thinks you are a fraudster. Ah! that Q7 is a whole new level - that model is a beauty, Its a very well built machine. That, the all-road are two very nice Audi's I like.

The thing is that manufacturers need to know what they are really good at AND not waste time trying to make every class and model a competitor makes.

Maybe its only me, BUT the 08/09 Mercedes Benz are simply like miniature or blown up versions of the other - all are looking the same and its a very stupid move. Someone has to tell you" NO, its not an E-Class, its a C Class" so its basically coming to the fact that you simply take what catches your eyes.

Me and you know that whatever model of Audi they used in that new Transporter movie was just a waste of time and money. The BMW version of transporter made that model.

I dont know if anyone has seen in real life the Volkswagen Phaeton. Its very grand. (And then again you simply find out they had the old 7 series BMW in mind when they were designing it)
