I used to like Obie back in the day them 8 mile days when he came out with Adrenaline Rush (never heard so many cuss words on a hook before)

Lupe has his unique style he doesnt need to go commercial and his album sales are doing pretty good compared to other rappers at this pace he can become a legend if he is consistent

@chiogo and onyinye
Please don't tell me you havent heard Paris to Tokyo

Lupe is the shiznit
of course i have heard that song. it is one of my favorite songs. wink

Dakore:
there are some good girls with low self esteem and confidence issues. those are the kinds that like "bad" guys, apart from the hoochies and ghetto ratesses of course.
well im a good girl and well i am sometimes attracted to bad boys. there is something about a guy who is bad to the bone that is so attractive. he dont care what people think of him and does what he wants. but hey that is just me.
StephenP:
role play:

Dude: Good afternoon ma! How was your day? Hope no traffic as you come for this place? How your papa and mama? Shey their body dey inside cloth? How are your studies? Hope fine? Hope you dey show them pepper? . . .

c'mon now!
oka cheesy cheesy cheesy it didnt mention all of that. the guy can come up to me and be like " Good afternoon miss, my name is "john". I noticed you walk pass me and was blinded with your beauty. and had to turn around and find out your name.
dreeldee:
All this bad boy thing or gentleman thing are no general rule, it works for some people and to some, it doesn't, no laid down rules in approaching a woman, just go with your confidence and the rest depends on the type of girl and the situation in which you met her

with all this emphasis on respect thing, one need to go for some lessons and even write an exam to approach your type kiss kiss
no exam needed. i just need to feel that you respect me and want to get to know me for me.

I hate when guys come up to me saying "what's up" and nod their head. that is so not a conversation starter with me. When you see me, greet me. i know yall parents told you to greet people when you see them. that includes me. ask about my day. complement me, but not so much that it comes off fake. dont do that lip licking thing i absolutely hate that. you have to come off respectful, like you want to get to know me as a person. you got to have swagger though. like you know you got it going on but not be arrogant about it. and whatever you do, dont look me up and down. it makes me feel like you are only wanting for sex. it might not be the case but that is how you are coming off.

Catalyst to the process of walking the aisle ?? I see.
What happened to SLY was weird. . . . .Puncturing his tyres was just criminal and EVIL but i am not sure it could have worked in principle.

Anyways, i still think a man can control his destiny no matter what. . .
The rule is: PROTECT YOURSELF.
It will be very difficult for any woman to claim she is preggers when she knows i was "double-strapped". cheesy
do you mean that you wore two condoms or what? or maybe im mis reading.
Music/Radio › Re: Nas Vs Jayz by onyinye2(f): 3:00am On Jul 01, 2008
@hannibal

this cd will boost Nas's career but it can also bring him down with some fans. but not me. cheesy

@eldee

im just saying that Lupe is a smart brotha and will make his own path. yeah i do feel that the radio could do some good but i really want him to bring what the game's been missing in his own style. undecided
Music/Radio › Re: Nas Vs Jayz by onyinye2(f): 2:23am On Jul 01, 2008
@hannibal

i know that the Detox album will go down in history as a classic but i feel that Nas will still the spot light because he is already turning heads and having folk like Al Sharpton protesting against it.

@eldee

Lupe is doing fine to me. that nerdy-rap thing got him a grammy. so i feel that he will improve on his own as he grows. just look at Jay-z. as he matured so did his rap game.
Music/Radio › Re: Nas Vs Jayz by onyinye2(f): 2:14am On Jul 01, 2008
the detox album does have alot of people wanting but i think the real deal and wait will go to Nas. his controversial album will probably steal the spotlight from any other rapper for that time being.

He was electedhuh You mean there was an election on friday and he was electedhuh People actually cast votes for himhuh
well there is a rumor that he threatened people with their lives if they didnt vote for him. but im not sure if it is just a rumor.
Music/Radio › Re: Nas Vs Jayz by onyinye2(f): 2:04am On Jul 01, 2008
@hannibal

lol. but yeah he is a bit of a success story now. but "get rich or die trying" was off the chain. the music was insane. he really needs to redeem himself now. there is some pressure on him to.I feel the Chronic was better than Doggystyle but i still love them both. wink

@chiogo

there is something about that nerdy- rap style of Lupe that has me hooked. i truly couldnt tell what it is specifically.
Romance › Re: Deleted Post by onyinye2(f): 1:58am On Jul 01, 2008
mayne im a victim to poetry. if a guy starts reciting poems to me then oh goodness im totally his. wink wink especially if he wrote them on his own. kiss
Romance › Re: Can You Use A Pregnancy To Trap A Man Into Marriage? by onyinye2(f): 1:50am On Jul 01, 2008
it is a shame and pity when you have to "trap" a man with a pregnancy just so you can insure he will stay with you. it shows a womans lack of secruity in herself that she can hold a man down with blackmail.
Music/Radio › Re: Nas Vs Jayz by onyinye2(f): 1:46am On Jul 01, 2008
@hannibal

well. . . i kind of already have all those albums pretty much. but my favorite hands down goes to the Chronic. and also i really like N.W.A. there intensity just was crazy. i loved it. any ways every body knew 50 wasnt going to win. it was not even a competition. 50 album "get rich or die trying" was way better.

@eldee

you can't compare Lupe to Nas. Nas is one of the originals. and they got two different types of styles going on.
Music/Radio › Re: Nas Vs Jayz by onyinye2(f): 1:32am On Jul 01, 2008
Hannibal:
@ Onyinye2,

I am a fan of Hardcore Rap and females don't want that, i guess. . . .
Anyways, u can get Eminem, Obie Trice, D12 and the new 50 album.
I am still gobsmacked. . . .can't phatom out how Kanye's album sold more(although there were reports Roc-a-fella cheated). cheesy grin
well im a female who loves hardcore rap. and of course everybody knew that 50 was gonna lose. Kanye west rhymes are sick. and his album has diversity. he got that track for when you mad to that track that makes you happy. all 50 had was that "i get money" which was pretty good. i did play it when i got pay checks.lol cheesy
Music/Radio › Re: Nas Vs Jayz by onyinye2(f): 1:23am On Jul 01, 2008
i guess if you are going to make the effort to listen to Lupe, then i guess i will upload some Eminem on my zune. do you know any songs that "I" would be interested in??
Music/Radio › Re: Nas Vs Jayz by onyinye2(f): 1:19am On Jul 01, 2008

you sound nice but that arrogant thing will be bring you down. betta change that in to self confidence instead.
Music/Radio › Re: Nas Vs Jayz by onyinye2(f): 1:12am On Jul 01, 2008
@hannibal

i know that eminem is a good rapper. but my problem with him is repeating over and over again about his daughter. no offense but it gets to the point that no one really cares any more.

Well, with the route it's taking I can only hope somewhere another biggie smalls or tupac has been born to revive it. I fear that when the greats retire there'll be no one to bring back the integrity it once had. It's being degraded by all these one hit wonders and wannabes they can't be the future of Hip Hop.
there will never be another biggie smalls or tupac. but i feel that the new generation just needs to be guided by some of these older rappers in a sense. or at least more support. there are plenty of good rappers out there. it is just the matter who is going to buy the albums. alot of people are into that party music. but i feel things will change when Nas drops his controversial album wink
Music/Radio › Re: Nas Vs Jayz by onyinye2(f): 1:02am On Jul 01, 2008
well hannibal im way more into the rhymes. if the rapper don't know what he is talking about then the beats mean nothing. if i don't feel watch the rapper is trying to say then it is as good as dead. and you??
