You are so shallow minded, daft and cannot see beyond your nose. I am sure you move around with the wrong set of people that is why you are afraid that you will be hoodwinked. Responsible guys dont move into there there girls house neither do they live of them. wake up to reality, bills are meant to be looked at together and sometimes you have to help out. I think you are carried away by your little achievement and you are burying your head in the sand. You better wake up to reality b4 it becomes 2late.  sad shocked embarassed lipsrsealed

ab]Thanks AjanleKoko for your insight, let me quickly point out something as regards ericsson, for freshers, they take mostly first-class graduates and put them[in a management-trainee program.
Before now, i worked in a telecomms firm in the NOC department with the cisco routers, billing servers and internet gateways, there i was a junior sys admin. Now I work in an ISP providing services using licensed RF/Vsat providing VPN links to corporate organisations and public institutions etc.
I'm the senior sys admin also working in the NOC in charge of our Backbone infrastructure and all of our production and application servers(hardware/software).
I took a course in telecomms last year/this year nd i must say it's a very interesting field for me. I'm looking at taking a more comprehensive course in telecomms in India(5months course, cheap and good lecture delivery) because i really have a passion for it but i'm currently torn between going to india and forfeiting my current job. My employers are unwilling to grant me a 5month leave of absense even without pay so it's a difficult decision to resign and start job hunting 5 months later when i'm back in Nigeria.
I'm currently being wooed by a lucrative career as an SAP consultant i'm currently making enquiries and spending lots of time in the NL "About SAP" thread. Now i know that tough decisions make a Man.

But I know someone that works in ericson with a third class.
RomanceRe: Omitting Information Vs Lying In A Relationship - Which Is Worse? by oolumide: 9:46am On May 30, 2009
Your friend must be stupid and a dunce to think that it wont back fire. Hey, Hey, you dont need to be a brain surgeon to know the repercurssion of this. A woman that has been married twice is definitely a woman with poor judgement and a cheap one. But if comes out to tell the guy she bring forth genuine reasons that the guy might understand. But for him to find out by himself will only confirm that she is a slot.
RomanceRe: My Story by oolumide: 8:11pm On May 20, 2009
In the good book it was said by the Lord, If i mark sinners who can stand ( Translation directly mine)

These are my views to you.

1. You commit murder by carrying out abortion, therefore seek for forgiveness. Who are mine to judge, because i am a fellow human b like u. I fall into sins too.
2. Let go this relationship, forgive and wish her well. The crux of the matter is, she might never forgive herself, thereby forsaking u in the future, because she knows that u might never forget even when u forgive. She knows happiness in the house may not be a continuous thing.
3. Sometimes in life people wants to taste the other side of life since they have been in one. I don't know Ur girl's reason for cheating, but she might have felt trapped in a relationship she has been since year one and might just want a fling before going in to matrimony.
4. You also need to search within yourself if you are not the cause of this.
5. Forgive her, but like some others said, peace, trust, integrity, and respect for one another may be elusive in Ur house.
6. I know it could be painful, but please take time off, to go away for sometime and think thru this before u commit yourself to it again.
7. Mind u, the fact that she cheated on u does not mean she does not love u. cry

It is easier for all men to castigate, but when we are on the spot a lot of us do more horrible things. I wish u God's guidance as u take decision concerning this issue. But you are a very fortunate person. Many of the people that are castigating u are doing it because they have never loved, they don't know what it means to luv, they are crossed with themselves because they cannot feel that thing they call love. So, whenever they see anybody enjoying that feel, they are quick to judge.

Pls, my brother be good and seek God's guidance

I have always wanted to do a big time animal husbandry project with special interest in Ostrich, cattle and Ram (sheep). My conviction is in the theory that Nigerians don't move in large numbers into business that does not give immediate returns and which require technical skills. Christianity EtcInstances Of When You Think It Is Over And God Intervene At The Last Minute by oolumide(op): 8:52pm On Sep 15, 2008
09-09-08 will always remain ever fresh in my memory. Some days prior to that I had done a catalogue of series of challenging periods in my life and as one pertinent question, will this challenging situation comes to a happy ending just like i have always had in the past. will God at this crucial time says oh my dear this is going to be your torture stake. But I said father, this burden of torture stake will be too much for me to bear, but I said, whatever is beneficial to me, m y household is what God should let be.

Find below different dilemma that I have found myself;

1. while I was growing up I had physical growth challenge, I was pint size and in the house they called me Baba Kekere. Several times I witness insult to my person from younger ones who think they are holder than me, several times i cried begging unto God to come to my aid. Now I am 5ft 11inches tall and weights 93kg, growth that took place in later stage of of my developmental life.
2. When I was in third year in the university that at three hundred level extra year was staring at my face, even when my parents are poor in far away university, i had to cry unto God reverently and all of a sudden a lecturer that had proven difficult in course that was to give me extra turned around to give me pass mark.
3. After graduation from the university when it seems there is going to be no job because of my course and family background, and I was looking unto fellow classmate who i felt their parents had connection to assist. But Alas while praying for a civil service job I got one in a conglomerate, even before all my friends that I was seeking to help me.
4. While I was working with the conglomerate, i had different challenge because of my relationship with my bosses which many of my colleagues envied. I had turbulent periods and at a point i was faced with termination of my employment and surprisingly rather than termination i was asked to go on six months training abroad.
5. When my wife was pregnant with our first child a medical report showed that she was HIV positive that weekend before the confirmation test was the longest in my life and i prayed. God so good it came out negative when My wife was almost a psychological wreck.
6. The last which happened last week was when a reputable hospital where my wife was going for ante natal treatment said that scan result showed that my wife may give birth to a baby witrh not too common disorder that is called microcephaly. This is what you will not wish your enemy check it out on net. my was delivered before due date in order to arrest further damage to the baby. this is a disorder in which the head will be small and mentally retarded. But God came with His ways again and the baby came to be a very lovely one without any abnormality. it is finer than most babies i have seen.

please share such moment here when God has come in even when you thought it is over.

There are no other ways to describe what are involved in than stealing, lack of integrity, lack of respect for your employer, yourself, your family members. How can you do such a thing, do you need to be a brain surgeon to know that one day the system will throw up this anomaly and you will be caught pant down. PoliticsRe: Has Fashola Really Done Anything In Lagos State? by oolumide: 8:01am On Jul 22, 2008
Interestingly I have been thinking of this poser in the past few days. Pepeye just read my mind. I am one of the few people that have been hailing Fashola for doing good in Lagos. Saying for the first time we have somebody actualising his dream and our dream for Lagos. But think, the beautification of Lagos is good, since it serves two purposes of environmental cleanliness of carbon and beatification of Lagos. But come to think of it, what does the man on the street wants, he wants more than these, he wants assurance of daily meal and other basic things. The environmental upgrade is appreciated by the elites and the enlightened but the lay man on the street does not understand this and he cares less. Can somebody list or itemised what fasola has done to lessen the burden of the down trodden and lagosians apart from beautification. This may make other nairalanders to appreciate him the more, but as for me I am having a rethink and I need to be convinced so as to take a stand for Fashola. Assist me in listing his policies and achievements in office towards education, health, poor masses e.t.c for Lagosians.

BusinessRe: Power Crisis: Senator Calls For Ban On Generators by oolumide: 8:55am On Jul 16, 2008
I think this thread practically paints a good picture of why Nigeria continues to remain on the same path as it has for years. We have those who choose to see this as is. And then we have those who are willing to INSERT ANY EXCUSE they can into what the man said, to produce a better picture for them to swallow and essentially sell to those who they tag as not being "POSITIVE" enough. It sort of explains the reason why we keep going around in circles; why we continue to be treated like stupid animals, and why change may be a long ways away.

Above writer is just ranting, you are running away from reality by not checking out far reaching effect of banning generator in our economy, it seems you are not aware that Nigerian economy largely depend on individual self generation of power. After the ban and you get to a bank you cant make withdrawals your eyes will become clear to reality.
BusinessRe: Power Crisis: Senator Calls For Ban On Generators by oolumide: 8:45am On Jul 16, 2008
How does this statement make sense. The senator is just an inch from going bananas. What is the relationship between Yah adua willingness and ability to carry out his promise to declare emergency in the energy sector and generator importation. Will the cabal hold to his throat with knife so as not to perform. How can someone say it is only the rich that make use of generator in Nigeria. Cant you see that from Barbers to washerman they all by generator popularly called " I pass my neighbour". What will happen to all business concern for the next few years that the government so called emergency declaration will work out. Nigerian Govt likes the easy way out of problems, in Egypt when Caterpillar could not sell its generator because there is constant power supply, the Almonsor group found solace in Nigeria and bought heavily into tractor and equipment. It is a natural order if there is no need there wouldn't be demand. So eliminate need through power supply and demand will crash thereby making the venture a needless one.

I think Oyedepo and his cohorts need to get there heads examined. Like it is said, they came for the Jew I did not say anything, They came for the Chinese I did not say anything, they came for the Negro I did not say anything, when they came for me there was nobody to defend me. The other news carried it that This same school refused to graduate people that were HIV positive. And I ask if they are that ignorant of the fact that HIV is not through sex alone, a so called university advocating for social stigmatization of people. Many of us can see beyond the holier than thou attitude of oyedepo. We must stop this draconian way of life before it becomes uncontrollable. Does not GOd have systemic way of dealing with his people.
Car TalkRe: How To Raise A Car Loan? by oolumide: 7:22pm On Jul 04, 2008
Demsy
You know the problem with Nigerians is that everybody feel we must do things the same way. What has worked for somebody might not worked for you. The fact that some people worked for five years before buying a car does not mean you must go through the same hassles and though time. You must realised that a first car most times is not luxury rather it is for convenience. it is when you are on second as a single man or third car as a married man that it becomes insatiable desire at your in convenience. Getting indebted could be a challenge to manage especially if your income cannot take care of it confortably.
My brother there are different ways you can structure payment without hurting your self. One of the things I have realised is that if you talk to people you could get some wonderful terms worked out. Don't mind some holier than thou people who would rather castigate your thinking. Whichever ever way get your stream of income right so that you can make payment at the time you promised.

I bought my first car after working for about 2years to the utmost surprised of all my colleagues cos we where earning peanuts working for a restaurant business. But some one got a tokunbor car for me that i paid for over four months. But buying car for me was for convenience not for luxury because i was closing late from work.

Let nobody deceive you you need a car to move around for business and to work because we are leaving in dangerous times, but i don't think you will get the right contact with what some guys responses are here. my brother i wish you the best as you try to achieve you goal.
