Visman: It clearly showed that you didn't listen to the briefing from the officials there. They always explain everything in detail every morning before they start their job. Ask them. You don't need to authenticate NYSC Certificate. |

Gundi: You need Certificate authentication. It is a good thing that you are getting interview call ups, it is normal for them to stop responding since you are still in Nigeria. You are free to try your luck with 3-months visa but must be prepared to face the challenges ahead, majorly financially. All the best. 2 Likes |

RESIDENT PERMIT: ITS PROS AND CONS. It is no longer news that RP Visa is the best option to reside in UAE for a duration of two years but subject to renewal. I will try to give the following information based on my research which may not be 100% perfect but will surely guide you on what to do. PROS 1. It gives you the right and freedom to move in and out of UAE legally. 2. Freedom to choose whatever job you are qualified for. 3. Health insurance, should you be sick. 4. Emirates ID. 5. You will only buy one-way ticket when coming to UAE. 6. If you are a graduate you will get a job of between N250k to N700k depending on your qualifications and experience. 7. It allows you to bring your spouse and children easily. 8. You stand a better chance to get Visa to developed economies after six months once your salary is around 5k Dirhams monthly. 9. No police officer will arrest you inasmuch as you obey the law. But if someone like drinking bears, prostitution, stealing, fighting etc and the person is caught, he/she will go to jail and later be deported. 10. It is most advantageous to graduates and few technicians. CONS 1. It is expensive and range between N1.3M to N1.5M. 2. It is only limited to two years, meaning you must have saved close to N1m when it expires to renew it. 3. You can't do it on your own from Nigeria but a registered company in UAE must do it for you. This is where the bad agents feed on you if you fall into their hands. 4. You can't migrate as Permanent Immigrant here except you are a multi-billionaire with major purpose of investment worth Billions of Naira in real estate and other businesses. 5. It takes 10 years of legal residence to cross to Permanent Resident by law, but the discretion of UAE government officials might not allow them to give you even if you have spent 100years. 6. Once anyone has any of the following diseases HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Hepatitis B, he/she will surely be deported. Major Graduate Jobs available are for Teachers(for primary and secondary schools), Accountants, Administrative Officers, Marketers/Sales Representative, HR, IT and Computer scientists, Nurses, Engineers(mechanical, building technologist, civil, refrigerator and air conditioning), Hotel Managers etc Major Jobs Available for Technicians who are not Bsc or HND holders. Mechanics, carpenter, tillers, Refrigerator and air-conditioning Tech, etc Major Jobs Available for SSCE holders are hotel attendants, house keepers/maids, restaurant attendants, security officials, drivers with licence, etc Download Telegram App on your phone and search for 'JOBS IN DUBAI' join the group to see job vacancies. WARNING Jobs are no longer available as it use to be because too many people are pursuing the fewer jobs, hence it has resulted to job buying and Visa fee payment before you can get job. This is so much disadvantageous to those coming with 3-months tourist visa. You must be loaded with money to survive. HOW TO DO THE RP? For those in Nigeria, it will start from a registered company here in UAE, then completed in Abuja for medicals, biometrics and Visa Stamping. (Check the last 3 to 4 pages for details). While those already in UAE need get the company to do it for you. For my other experienced friends who are already in UAE, you are free to add your own experience to my write up. Kind regards. 3 Likes |

Dblock89: Doing a Resident Permit is possible but you must be careful with agents. Going by your intention, I will councel you not to be desperate but EXTREMELY CAREFUL. Before you start the process I will like you to answer the following questions honestly: 1. Are you a graduate? If yes, PR might be good for you. 2. Are you free from HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Hepatitis B? Should anyone have any of it, don't even bother to come to UAE. 3. Are you willing to do certificate authentication at Abuja? If not, you might regret it when you get to UAE even if you have spent Millions of Naira. 4. Are you willing to start from somewhere before you grow big in UAE? 5. Are you married, with how many children? Patience and right information with honest people will help you alot. There are so many fraudulent agents here. 1.5m for agent alone is a little bit on high side because you might still need about N550k to N600k for Certificate authentication, medicals, biometrics fees(at Abuja), flight ticket, bed space and your upkeep(at UAE) when you arrive. It is not about coming to UAE, but coming without any form of REGRET. Agents won't tell you all these. They are interested in the money they will make from you than your comfort. Answer the above questions and I will councel you further. 1 Like |

Visman: Congratulations in advance to you. I can arrange bed space for you when you land in Abu Hail area of Dubai or Al Nadah in Shajar. Be prepared for at least two months to feed yourself and take care of your bed space. With regards to job, you may have to find available job for now before getting your accounting job. Although, we have many vacancies for accountants but you must have good knowledge of Tally and other accounting packages. They are necessary here. All the best. 1 Like |

Semose: My brother I sympathize with you on your current situation but you need to face reality and take appropriate action before the expiration of your visa. I will give you two suggestions: 1. While you have one week left on your visa, you will have to plan for visa change immediately. 2. It is wise for you to activate your return ticket now and go back to Nigeria honourably to avoid the wrath of UAE laws. Should the visa expires while you are still in UAE, is dangerous! The current reality shows the following: 1. There are fewer jobs available these days than before. 2. The employers are now being selective which more often than not does not favour Nigerians. 3. Too many people are coming into the country without proper plans on how to succeed in UAE, thereby leading to catastrophic failure. Some people are going about with expired visas, running away at the sight of police and not ready to return to Nigeria because of shame. Should they be caught by the police, it will land them in jail for a particular duration before being deported to Nigeria. For those who are planning to come in, be wise and do the necessary planning before coming. All the best. 4 Likes |

odalonu12: Authentication is for Nigerian graduates who want to study or work abroad. It depends on what purpose and country you are doing authentication for. But you need the following documents to be authenticated: 1. SSCE original, it is compulsory(plus N1200 WAEC card for verification). 2. BSc, MSc, PhD, ND, HND certificate.(any one that is applicable to you). 3. Eligibility letter, you will apply for it (N1000). But if for the purpose of study, you will add: 4. Original transcript of records. 5. Three sets of photocopies of each document are required. If you are going to study abroad you will do additional sets of photocopies for admission because two from the three sets stated above are are going to be retained in the two ministries (MOE and MFA). It is one step after the other. You will start with MOE (it takes 2 to 3 days depending on population) while MOF takes one day but you must be there by 9am. They close by 1pm and will not allow you in again. They don't do authentication on Fridays o. Authentication cost N300 per page multiplied by the total number of pages you want to do. Plus some extra charges for application form (N450), remitars - for individual payments at the two ministries etc. Go with your passport. Best wishes. 1 Like

OlakunmiSMELTD: I have given you the best information you need both on this platform and the authentication platform but you keep asking the same question without being ready to do the right thing. 1. You CAN'T authenticate HND certificate without ND certificate. Go and get your ND certificate. 2. You are free to take it along, if it is acceptable for authentication they will do it but if not, they won't. 3. Since you don't have recognised means of identification, you WON'T be attended to. Wait until your passport is out, then you go thereafter. Photocopy of passport is not acceptable. |

NONNYG: It is truly ILLEGAL to collect passport, but you agreed in your response that it happens. It should not have been a problem but the attitude of Africans, particularly Nigerians make them do it. Nigerians will sign contract for two years when their employers have processed their two years Resident Permit for them, only to abscond after few months. Haven spent so much in the process, the employers are always at the receiving end. This makes the employers to use the ILLEGAL method to cage them from absconding. NOC. When your employer sponsored your Resident Permit, you are permitted to apply for your annual leave to travel to your country of choice after one year. But if you sponsored your Resident Permit you are free to even leave upon one month notice. But very few Nigerians get jobs at top position with 4k Dirhams and above which makes traveling difficult. Whichever way it is, if you are earning less than 4 to 5k Dirhams monthly, getting Visa to developed economies is extremely difficult except if someone who is rich or your company is sponsoring you. 1 Like |

osadestiny: I laughed at your question. Stage1: Resident Permit Visa process will start from UAE as Work Permit where you will get Pre-approved Visa, then you take it to UAE embassy in Abuja for Visa Stamping on your passport. Check my post up for more details. Stage 2: When you get to UAE, you will still do Medicals and biometrics for your Emirates ID plus documentation at Ministry of Labour here in UAE. It will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks. Stage 3: Once your have gotten your Emirates ID and Resident Permit Stamped on your passport, you are free to look for work and settle down and start a new life in a new country. UAE Resident Permit only allows you to travel to Georgia and Azerbaijan but you get their Visas at the Airport when you land in the two countries. Traveling to Canada freely? You are joking! You do the normal process as it is being done in Nigeria but have a better chance to be given Canadian Visa once you can meet their requirements. Get a good professional job that you can earn 5000AED monthly, then you brighten your chances. At least you must have BSc and above to be classified as professional. You already have a mindset of traveling to Canada without settling in UAE. You must be a joker! My brother don't jump the gun. Settle down first then you plan your way to Canada with time. Kind regards. 5 Likes 1 Share |

osadestiny: Only if the Resident Permit Visa is done for you with your money from Nigeria. But if a company should do it for you, forget about traveling abroad because you must serve the company for two years. While is service, your passport will be cooling off in the strong room of the company that sponsor you because you can't have access to it. 2 Likes |

Mosilar: Yes, you can extend it with your airline and pay extra charges. But you have to go to their office for extention. But mind you, should it happen that you are unable to get job within the three months you must leave UAE before it expires. Or else, you will be on HEAVY FINE per day of your over stay. Except if you have money, you can do Visa Changing before three months expires, it will cost you so much. 2 Likes |

1. It is possible to start on Tuesday and complete the process on Friday but NOt THE BEST. Once there is delay along the line in any of the Institutions, it simply means you will have to add the weekend and complete on the following Monday. 2. Embassy work on Friday. The embassy opens by 9am and closes by 3pm, Monday to Friday. 3. Only Master card from UBA and First Bank are acceptable. Master card is the best for international transactions. They will deduct the money in Dirhams and its Naira equivalent will reflect in your account. 4. You must go with all your documents, including admission letter. 5. All your passport photographs must be in WHITE BACKGROUND. |

babakb: Read my write up very well. You might be lucky to get job on your own but the chances are extremely low because some employers don't want Nigerians in their company. The few ones that might accept Nigerians will want financial commitment from a Nigerian before processing Resident Permit for them; then still hold you for two years to complete your contract. You can't process your Resident Permit on your own without a company filing application for you. 2 Likes |
Travel / Re: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Ope4Christ: 11:19am On Feb 25, 2020 |
Mosilar: On your question on budget. 1. Three months visa cost between 190 to 220k. 2. Return ticket between 240 to 280k depending on the airline of your choice and time of booking. 3. Bed space 50 tó 60k per month depending on location. 4. Feeding, it is better for you to come with the food items I listed above to reduce cost, but you can budget between 20 to 30k per month. It is preferable for you to cook at home than eating outdoor. 5. Buying job depends on the nature of the job and the expected salary. Ordinarily, you are not expected to buy job but because of the way some Nigerians have tarnished our image, so many things have changed and resulted to job buying. If you want the company to process your Resident Permit for you, the HR of the company will ask you to pay for it ( between 120 to 200k). They will collect all your documents for two years until you finish the contract. Even some of them will still collect your money and won't do anything. They will allow your Visa to expire and terminate your appointment. Nigerians who came before now taught them fraud and the new entrants are bearing the pain. Just be careful with agents! 5 Likes |

OlakunmiSMELTD: No, uploaded copy is not acceptable. Your friend must have sent official transcript to the German school before scan copy or photocopy can be accepted for admission process. The German School will still sight original certificates when he gets to Germany. Is there any problem if you collect your original certificates? Going by the photocopy of your friends' certificate, you graduated since 2012 and yet to collect your certificate! This is not good of you. Statement of Results is only valid for maximum of two years. You should have collected your original certificate. Now you are in desperate need of it. It's a pity! I think I may not reply you again. I have said it that your statement of result is only acceptable in Nigeria but if you have anything to do outside the shores of Nigeria, your so called statement of result is as USELESS as used tissue paper. I am giving you direct information but you still prefer to call whoever in Abuja who might not have updated information. Some people were sent back to Lagos because they failed to do the right thing. They wasted money, time, energy etc because they were not informed. But if you still want to use your SOR, it is your choice. I wish you all the best. A word is enough for the wise. 2 Likes
