Hi everyone,

Please I need our help urgently as I plan to submit my visa application on Monday. I've been following the thread, kudos to everyone for the great works we are doing.

I got a fully funded masters ($18,400) at University of Manitoba. I have gathered all the relevant documents including landed property, previous travel stamps and letter of introduction from my previous university.

To further support this, my guardian wants to support me with 1.5 million for my travel and settling down. However, his personal bank statement has a balance of 1.9 million with 10 million transaction in the past 6 months. Please is it advisable for me to use this?

Kindly help me with this, my appointment is booked for Monday. Thanks
.

Congratulations bro

Please I will like you to give us a breakdown of your profile is Course, CGPA, GRE, IELTS and others.

Thanks

Please House, is it advisable to attest my M.Sc. Certificate without attesting my B.Sc. Certificate due to cost.

It is better you do authentication for the two should there be opportunities that requires M. SC certificate, but if you can do BSc now and later come to do the MSc due to cost; it not a bad idea.

Opportunities for foreigners in Germany will come to effect from 1st of March 2020. Tell all those who are interested to maximize it. It is not limited to University degree students alone but professionals in vocational training as well with SSCE.

So many positive changes which brighten the chances of Non-EU foreigners. Go through the website and get vital information that you can maximize.

Good luck to us all.

hi guys happy new year.

please quickly I want to ask, can someone authenticate (accreditation) my results on my behalf in Nigeria?
.
also is the information on page 1 still valid as at of today (concerning accreditation of results).?

Only your family member who bears the same surname with you and valid ID card can assist you. The major valid ID are: National ID, Nigerian Passport and Driver's Licence.

You need to give the person authorization letter and data page of your passport for easy process, and of course a lot of money. grin grin grin

Please will ETS send the unofficial GRE result on the test day to my email prior when it will reach the school?

I will like to send the unofficial score to some schools that have earlier deadline.

You will have to wait for 10 to 15 days from the date of your examination before official result can be sent. You can go ahead with your application to your prospective schools, in as much as you have filled the school codes on your test date. They will send it to the schools.

Hi,

I wanted to keep mum cos I'm really sad and depressed about this country.

But...

I will share my experience cos it might help someone.

To be honest,

Nigeria is messed up.

Like really really messed up!

The earlier I leave the longer I will live!

I hope things will change in the future.

So, after getting to ministry of education in Abuja,

They insisted on seeing my original WAEC result which I politely told the lady I lost it but I have a scanned copy and also an option to print out through WAEC portal.

She said NO!

When she saw the frustration and anger on my face,

She said they can accept confirmation of result sent directly from WAEC through courier.

Meaning I have to go back to Lagos..

Can you imagine ?

I felt really bad and my hatred for this country increased by one thousand percent.

I left Abuja that same day around 2pm, got to Lagos by 2am. (I know it was a risky journey but I'm ready to risk anything (legal) to leave this country)

Next day,

I went to WAEC office to request for confirmation of result which cost me #5,000, courier charged: #2500
Affidavit : #3000
Passport: #1000

Then comes the shock of my life when a clerk in WAEC office told me they won't touch my application till next year.

I was like what da f...

Luckily for me, I have a sister working in WAEC office I contacted her and my application was processed same day and was sent to Abuja next day.

"If you don't know someone in this country you will suffer"

Strangely I just lost interest in going back to Abuja.

Like is this really worth it ?

But hey I will be be travelling this month or first week of February.

Sorry about your pain.

This happens daily in every sector in Nigeria. May God help us.

I sent you a PM. Please respond and let us connect.

I need directions on how to go about my current status.
I have done my IELTS with 6.5 score band, educational evaluation by Wes, I have an uncle living in Manitoba, work experience in Teaching, administration and HR. I plan writing my TEF/TCF in January.
What should be my move and which PNP should I go for?

With your brother in Manitoba you have a great opportunity but you need to do the following quickly:

1. Package your cv for Administrative officer or Assistant
because it is one of the Critical jobs in Manitoba. (it must include evidences such as Letter of employment, pay slips, Job specifications that reflects a minimum of 70percent of an administrative officer in Canada).
2. Get the minimum financial requirements in your account.
3. Ask your brother to give you the photocopy of the following documents: PR Card/Canadian Passport, utility bills etc.
4. Dive into the pool( fill your forms on CIC website).
5. Fill form for Manitoba Province PNP.
6. You can calculate your Score on Manitoba PNP scale to see if you are above the requirements.
7. Good luck.

My agent just sent the info part of my visa to me. I confirmed it and it is valid. He asked for me to pay up for him to send the full copy. Can I go ahead to pay?

Since you said the visa is valid why are you asking the question?

How did you confirm the validity of the visa?

I am writing this letter regarding your application for the position of LECTURER AND NON-ACADEMIC STAFF in our company. We are developing really fast and need Lecturer and Non-Academic Staff very urgently in order to start the appropriate training. Therefore, we have to select the right candidate carefully and at the same time very quickly for this position.

We would like to inform you that you are the one from ten candidates who is selected for the interview in our firm. The interview, training and orientation of the school will take place at MYSC Orientation Camp on Friday 27th – Saturday 28th, December, 2019. We believe that you are one of the most qualified people for this position and wish you best of luck.

We will be sending the application form and request you to fill the same and bring it along with you when you come for this visit. This will facilitate the interview process.

We request you to confirm us your availability by email for this meeting.
For all Degree Holders/HND send your letter of availability to rexingtonu@gmail.com.
For all Master Degree holders, send your letter of availability to registerm.rexingtoncollegiate@gmail.com

Don't mind them. I was also considered for appointment about four months ago without interview but with a stupid condition that I have to pay a percentage of the fee for medicals before final consideration. I scolded them that it is unheard of anywhere. Haven seen the shady process I just let go because everything about them looks suspicious. They are now coming up with interview for the new set. My brother, follow your mind but they might just waste your time.

Best wishes.

thw little money you have don't waste it on authentication of result nobody will ask for it .....98percent work no need certificate (dat is if you are able to secure one )
na agent fee make you dey gada .....no mata who is giving you link job (sure or not sure ) weda na your broda or enemy ...weda na naija or Pakistan or syira or egpt demn go collect agent fee from u

Thanks for your concern. I have done my thorough investigation to discover that professional jobs that I am seeking REQUIRE AUTHENTICATION. Yes, you are right about agent fees but not in all cases. Agents will 'chop' your money when you go as an hussler who is inexperienced. But with the right information and help, you can get job directly from employers, although very limited. All you have to do is visit the website of multi-national companies and apply directly. If you meet their requirements, very good but you have to be in UAE before any interview can be initiated. Even the UAE government is planning to employ teachers right now through Ministry of Employment. Go to their website and apply but you MUST BE IN UAE before interview can be initiated. Part of the requirements is AUTHENTICATION of certificates and Police Character Report.

The 98percent you stated is purely for start-up jobs and not for experienced and senior level jobs. If you do your homework very well, you won't be lost in the midst of ocean when you get to UAE. The major problem with Nigerians is that, THEY ARE DESPERATE TO TRAVEL ABROAD THAN DOING INVESTIGATION THAT WILL AID THEM WHEN THEY GET THERE.

Hi everyone, thanks to the creator of this group. I'm happy to be here as we achieve same goal. Please my question is: If one successfully migrates to a particular province via this route, how long are you expected to live in that province without migrating to another?

You are expected to remain in that province that nominated you for two years, counting from the date that your PR is issued. Then you can migrate after two years. It is important to note that if you migrate before the two years duration, you will face problem when you're qualified to apply for citizenship (4 years after PR). They will ask you to go back to the province and spend the two years.

Please do the following:

1. Authenticate your certificates at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education both at Abuja. It will assist in your process of getting good job if you're a graduate.

2. Get Police certificate of character at Force Headquarters in Obalende, Lagos, if you are in Lagos.

3. If you can drive, get International Driver's Licence should there be need to be a driver. It will ease the process of getting UAE Drivers Licence.

4. Don't raise your hope too high, you must be prepared for eventuality and be ready to do any available job for a start. E.g Security, driver, etc

5. Don't accept any job where your employer will request your traveling documents i.e your Nigerian passport. It is a bait to cage you and use you.

6. Don't depend on your friends too much, they might turn their backs at you.

7. Please go with about 200k which you will change to Dollars then to Dhiram when you get to Dubai. This will take care of your accommodation (50 - 70k monthly for shared apartment) and feeding plus others.

8. Always search for 'Walk in Interview' jobs.

9. You will be given Etisalat Sim for free upon buying of airtime at the airport. Please accept it and buy data to search for jobs until you get a good one.

10. Good luck.

Has anyone who did work visa interview in November heard from the embassy? I did mine on the 28th of November and I haven't heard anything from them yet

Patience should be your middle name for now. It takes an average of 6 - 8 weeks (normal time frame but could be more or less atimes) before your visa will be granted. Learn to pray and plan for the new country you are going.

Wish you good luck.

How much ?

Check their website or go to their office. The price varies depending on:

1.) Peak or off peak season. We are already in peak season. Peak season is when people travel most.
2.) Your time of departure.
3. ) Booking two or three or four months ahead before departure. It will be reasonably low, but booking less than a month will be high. A return ticket cost about 180k because it was booked four months ahead.

Google Airpeace to do more findings.
