Sanwo Olu has proven he is a man with a good heart and listening ear that has the good interests of Lagosians at heart and ready to live up to his responsibility as Governor. He is very serious about governance and not a decoration Governor. I like him because that even though he is a party man that maintains loyalty to his party, he also tries to balance it with meeting up with the expectations of Lagosians and listening to the voices of the people and public. That's a strong leadership quality. I don't doubt his resolve or integrity. Let's see what he will come up with within the Lagos security architecture. So fingers crossed. |
solmus:It was Ambode that crippled excessive public extortion by LASG agents and their proxies. They are back in business now. |
Weightlifting is not the problem, the problem is you dress, look and act like a man. Then even tried to have allowed you pass. If it were another country, they might delay her and mover her to one corner to subject her to strip checks by female security to check her female genitals. This is tomboy ish levels taking top far, nawa ![]() |
This is one of the many dangers of pre-registered sim cards or helping someone else to register a sim card. Imagine if this guy is using a pre-registered sim card, then it is the telecoms agent that used his or her details to register the sim card that will be picked up wrongly. The way the person behind that WhatsApp line is talking confidently, it could either be that he is not the one that registered the sim card, or that he is not based in Nigeria again if he's the one that registered the sim. This thing makes me remember like maybe 11 or 12 years ago when I was working with a company and my MD would ask me to do sim registration for some expatriate staffs. I think maybe I registered up to 10 sim cards by then. Later when I realized ths implication, I just told my boss I can't do again oh, I he agreed with me and said no problem. I used to pray that may God have mercy on me and none of those expatriates ever use the sim for crime because me I don't know them oh, and I don't know where they are today or what they are doing. I have stopped working there since like over a decade ago. |
bolaji1023:The bolded is just your own personal excuses that doesn't hold water. Going by this your logic again, other people can as well make their own excuses and say this pastor caught for fraud doesn't have a true knowledge of the Bible. And if your excuses are correct by your own logic, then their own excuses are correct too by this same logic of yours. You can argue and make excuses all you want, but this fact still remains. Even Shekau believes he is more Muslim than you are, and those groups you label as not having knowledge thinks you're not Muslim enough and it's you that doesn't have knowledge. So between you and them alone (and me as a spectator or neutral onlooker who's not involved in the discussion), you guys will argue back and forth for 1000 years among yourselves about who the true Muslim believer is between you and them. And you say that mosques are built for terrorism. If the mosques in your area are truly built for terrorism the muslims the should have bombed all christains including you in your arAnd point of correction, I didn't say Mosques are built for terrorism, read my post again. I only applied your logic and ASKED you a question whether the same idea can be said to be applicable to Mosques, since that is the fundamental basis of your logic and assumption. Like I told you before, chronic hypocrisy is like a car with a bad engine or gearbox, it can't take you far, it will surely break down along the way. Because you have brought up another logic that if Mosques in my area are truly built for terrorism, the muslims should have bombed all Christians in my area, including me. Ok, if this logic is correct and true, then it also means if Christianity is a scam like you said in your initial post, then pastors should have scammed all the muslims in your area including you. Ok, so, let me ask you directly, tell me, Have pastors scammed all the Muslims in your area, including you? If the answer is No. Then it means you have proven the point again that you're a hypocrite. And if the answer is Yes, Then that is a lie and you have proven the point that you're a lying hypocrite. |
Osinbande is very funny oh. You want your helicopter to crash again fa You better be careful with your words. The oligarchy cabal no dey take dis kain tin play oh |
bolaji1023:Ok, going by this logic of yours, then can you likewise say that Mosques were built for terrorism purposes since virtually all terrorists bombing and killing people across the world happen to be Muslims, from Boko, to ISWAP to Hezbollah to Alqaeda to killer Fulani herdsmen militias to Al Nusra...etc? If you can't say that, then it's either you're a lying hypocrite or your logic is wrong. And Mosques don't block streets and use loudspeakers and advertise themselves and wail on the streets? Let me tell you, chronic hypocrisy is like a car with a bad engine or gearbox, it can't take you far, it must surely break down along the way. |
When mainstream society does not take rape allegations seriously again, when rape accusations become something people are skeptical and nonchalant about, I hope those low IQ misandristic females that are always jumping from thread to thread on Nairaland insulting men and their effeminate simp lapdogs that support them, won't blame their self-inflicted misery on the male gender. May una kontinu doing ursef. |

bolaji1023: bolaji1023:How many fraudulent crimes have been committed by muslim clerics or how many frauds have been linked to Alfas? Uncountable. Don't some muslim yahoo boys have their own Alfas that do prayer, charms and rituals for them? Or do you want the crime news files of Islamic clerics to be open here, so you can see? |

Esseite:Speaking out when? When they are no longer in power as usual. Always eager to pass the buck. Every disaster that APC built in this past 5 years, it was PDP that laid the foundation. Call for reform is just another opportunistic political strategy to keep himself within the memory of the Nigerian youths in hopes that he Atiku can get their votes in 2023. He obviously still wants to contest in 2023, can you imagine? Buhari is just about to finish 8 years and Atiku is really still interested to continue and rule another probably 8 years too, so the North can have 16 years uninterrupted rule. Same Atiku that is just another Fulani oligarchy believer just like Buhari, the only difference is he is more exposed and more mentally intelligent, which makes him even more dangerous than Buhari. Some of us can see through all these political gimmicks. APC Buhari regime is an 100% deaf and dumb government, we know that already. Nobody can take that title from them, they are the undisputed heavyweight deaf and dumb government. Even GEJ that people insulted as "clueless", he was still intelligent enough to change service chiefs when the insecurity worsened critically, he was smart enough to know that to have change, you have to make change. But we currently have a deaf and dumb Buhari APC regime government that believes they can keep doing the same thing and get a different result, which is another valid definition of insanity. They had a mad King in Westeros and we have a mad regime in Nigeria. We know Buhari regime is disaster in this matter. |
flamingREED:Trust me, if the Democrats hate you like they hate Trump, then you're doing the right thing, you're doing many things right . Anything the Left hates with passion is obviously a compass that highlights you're doing something right. If a leader ever gets confused as to what the right or wrong thing to do is, just listen to the Democratic establishment's viewpoint on the matter and do the opposite . |
Some of Trump's campaign have been suspended because of this Coronavirus whereas his opponent will continue his own campaign trail. Yet the Right is not crying, yet the Republicans are not cursing, yet We The People are optimistic. BUT the Left and the DemoNcrats are wailing as usual . When Trump turns your Vegetable candidate to salad in November, I hope they will find a place in their crybaby hearts to accept it in good fate and not start riots and looting as usual ![]() |
Esseite:SARS have been existing since the 90's but they went rogue and turned Gestapo under PDP government and kept getting worse under APC Buhari regime. PDP is part of the problem. They did NOTHING about it when they were in power. Hypocrisy is what this is. |
As much as Buhari regime is a deaf and dumb government, this evil didn't start under APC, it had been like that since PDP time and they did NOTHING about it. Now they want to use it to campaign. This is just another political gimmick as far as I'm concerned, not about real change. I can't take anybody talking about reform seriously. If it's true they have gone rogue and deviated from their established functions, if the endless extra judiciary killings and assaults are all true, if we have a Gestapo style unit of police in the system, then any serious government or political aspirants should not be talking about reform. They will be talking about scrapping the Gestapo unit and prosecuting those responsible for the regular extrajudicial murder of citizens |
chamboy:Yes, sure, and I share your sentiments too. Trump is among the league of great USA Presidents like Reagan, and has surpassed that level. I think Trump's face belongs on Mount Rushmore to join the 4 All Time Greats. |
Nigeria, the only country where people love and worship their oppressors so much to the point they keep voting them and their circles to power over and over again. Mental slavery is REAL, it is even worst than physical chains. A man in chains knows he is a slave and dreams of freedom, hopes for freedom; but those with mental slavery don't even know they are slaves so they love it the way they are and love their oppressors ![]() |
DadaStephen1:Oga there's nothing to pity, the western world has gone past the era of physical conquests. There are countries smaller than Lagos and living free, nobody from the "wild west" has attacked or has put them in chains. And population doesn't guarantee victory in modern warfare, your level of technological sophistication and external alliances does. Besides, upon all your togetherness as "Voltron", is your govt not still a slave to interests of the West since after amalgamation till today? That excuse doesn't hold water abeg. And please and please don't be comparing Nigeria to Voltron. It is an insult to the Voltron legacy. Voltron was a "defender of the universe", Nigeria can't even defend its own citizens who are been killed daily by kidnappers, bandits, terrorists, killer herdsmen and even the govt. The only thing Nigeria defends and protects are the interests, wealth and assets of the crooks exploiting and looting this country's commonwealth. |
nawa oh. May God continue to have mercy on me |

Rape is evil, rape is criminal but rape victims need to know that the more they cover up the identities of their rapists, the more emboldened they are to rape others. So I think, the greater percentage of the power to break the vicious cycle of rapists and to get justice lies with the victims themselves. The government and the law (and the society) cannot prosecute or pursue justice against rapists with an invisible identity. If you don't let people know the identity of your rapist, then how can the society get you justice? People will only sympathize with you but they can't go further. So keeping the identity of your rapist secret enables rape to continue. Name and shame them, and even if they are not ashamed, naming them goes a long way to help government and society identify, prosecute and punish rapists or rape offenders. That's the only practical way I believe rape can be curtailed. The power of a rapist lies in the silence or quietness of his victim. Speak up and reveal the rapists identity, and let society and government handle the rest. You have the greatest chance of getting justice this way. |
32 years ago Hmmm, so how old is she exactly? Because according to the Famousnaija blog, she's in her mid-40's. Anybody saying she was raped as a final year student in the university 32 years ago should be at least maybe about 48 years old, assuming she was say 16 years as a final year student, which is a very extremely rare and exaggerated figure. Most people finish secondary school around that age. The 32 years ago doesn't add up, Nawa! |
