Another post ITA question . I have earlier asked this question but I got only one response. In the space for degrees and certificates to upload , is it just the highest degree (re the one evaluated) or are we to upload from SSCE and above.

Are you aware that your Nigerian PCC is valid for just 3 months...? It is stated clearly on the certificate. Double check its validity before you submit it...

Yes someone can get this done for you.

(2) You will also need to give the person the following - data page of international passport, passport photograph, copy of birth certificate

That's the procedure / documents I sent for mine. Other people can chip in their suggestions - but I believe this works.

Ok I may be in Lagos in the nearest future , what do I need to bring along with me . Alagbon is somewhere on the island right ? When I get there all I should tell the person is I need a PCC or Police report for a duration more than 6months right

You can visit any police station in Abuja, they can help process it although they would have to send it to Alagbon foAr processing and it would cost you more. This is better than travelling hours or paying for airfares just to get the PCC. Alternatively, if you have a friend in Lagos, you can post the required docs to them so they help you process and scan same to you.

I will advise you just take out time to come to Lagos, its a 15-30mins parol, in and out sharply.

When filling out your application there is a question on which NOC (work experience ) you want to base your application on . The answer to this is usually the job you have spent 3years or more on . This is to allow you get the maximum points for work experience . The minimum work experience is one year full time
So to answer question you only need reference letter for the job experience you are cliaming points for .

I have just discovered this thread yesterday. Although I have been active on the Australian PR thread, I just feel that this could be a good platform to get my queries about Canada PR cleared and definitely be a contributor some day.

With regards to claiming points from job experience, does one have to present references for all the places one has worked or reference from the most recent place would do? I.e., can one just claim points for the current/most recent employment and do away with the previous?

Hello house, pls i need a reminder of what an LLB and a BL( law certs) will be assessed as by IQAS? I tried reading through the posts but couldn't locate it.
Will it be assessed as a masters degree and what do I submit? I've even forgotten the name of the Lady who initiated the whole IQAS route for lawyers here.

Your ietls result looks almost good, have you considered a remark while its still fresh. Only 15k extra compared to the cost so far, while you wait for ITA, please don't let that result slide.

Have you calculated your score with crs calculator(google crs calculator) , your wife is younger should be the applicant . If she gets good score for ielts am sure you will get upto 400. Ontario gives PNPs to 400 and above . You need to get yourself and wife ielts and do your ECA and get in the pool as fast as possible . The earlier the better . There is a possibility that by June the cut-off mark will start shooting up. Goodluck

Yes you need a minimum of one year full time job . To get maximum points you need 3years work experience

Yes PNPs are issued seperately , however for most you have to be in the pool . Qubec a french speaking province doesn't need you to be in the EE pool . The only province giving nominations now is Ontario and you need 400 points and above .When other provinces start people will post it here . Also check out Superchi posts , he got nominations from one province although he's no longer active. Put superchi on the search button and all his post wil show .

WOW congrats , check posts from febuary when they first issued NOI. . Check the nomination mail , there should be instructions . Next draw most likely on wednesday .

Oga you still didn't read through the post like I said yesterday . Transport money to Canada is very 'cost' . To be able to garther that money in the course of time means you have patience . Be patient to read throught . Read , Read , Read.
1.Sign in using the GCkey
Before you start signing , first of all you need to register to write ielts general exams . It cos 68000. You need a valid international passport. Their website is through british council. You need to score minimum of lrsw 8777 to get a high score . Google ieltsbuddy and ieltsliz for lessons
2.As you are doing that you need to process your transcript from your school . Register with an assessment agency preferably iqas . Payment is with atm card . You can only use a foreign atm as nigerian cards don't work . Its about 275 canadian dollars

3. Based on this you can start filling your form .
