Your question is not clear, What queries do you need answered? If you got a job then your employer will process your visa. That's how it works. This thread is for people without job offer

The verification is important else WES won't continue with your file.

You definately need a contact person perhaps the person who helped you with getting the transcripts in the various school.

I tire o. Although, the degrees are for me and my spouse. However, I asked this question here before I began the whole process, but wasn't getting some clear-cut answers. Eventually, I went ahead with all in order to be on the safer side. Now, I'm confused because I'm not even in the country to follow up things myself.

Why do you need proof of employment. You only need reference letter or letters for the job you are claiming points for. Help me understand your question if the above answer is not satisfactory.

Please I'm in a fix. WES claimed to have sent verification to the following schools, with the following certificates:
OAU - MSc
Lautech - BSc
FUTA - B.Eng
Federal Poly, Ado - ND
Nursing and Midwifery Council - RN
West African Health Exam Board - RPHN

My questions: what modality does the verification take because I called Ado today and seems they were saying its hard copy WES will send, rather than through email.

Also which department does the verification go and who handles it? Does it require money.

Finally, who has passed through these schools to please advise appropriately.

I have called these schools severally and they keep saying they haven't received anything, while WES has informed me since the 21st of April that they have sent the verification. What do I do to fastrack this?

Don't have an answer to your question but I have a query. Why are you evaluating so many degrees . YYou should be evaluating only your highest degree Msc

Congratulations on the job. Question is the job LMIA one ? The kind of job that would give you points? If yes carry on. If no, then I suggest you forget about it. To know if the job is LMIA ask your friend and check CIC website on jobs that qualify to give you points.

Use the name of your primary assignment. Don't put government

Go to their various websites to find out which option is favorable to you . Read this thread from page 0 to know the process . Put the various institutions on the search button and what people who have used them have to say

You may need to do another ECA. Someone on this thread had a similar issue and decided to redo the ECA. However if you have 'mind then swear to an affidavit stating that there was an error in your transcript and it was only after your ECA was finalised that you noticed the mistake .then a LOE with your birth certificate .

Hi everyone, please I need help with my WES verification. I am a lawyer and Law School posted my verification to WES via NIPOST. This has taken almost two months now. I am practically stuck as it is. My Masters degree and Undergraduate degree schools have replied WES so true only pending issue is this Law School one. Can I ask WES to remove it from my school and only issue an assessment based on the Masters and Undergraduate programs? Please help me. I paid for WES since January and My IELTS was taken last year JAnuary so I am racing against time.

Someone on this thread talked about a friend's PPR still hanging because of his profession being misquoted in his certificate . The steps I wrote don't take much from you . I suggest you follow through with it .

You said you notorized your document with a lawyer . You don't need a receipt for that . If you stamped your document in court and paid money , then its expected that a receipt is issued

I haven't used a gift deed but I intend to , this is my Professional advicem
1. The gift deed which is on this thread is sufficient . The person who is gifting signs with his witness same as you.

2. There is a place where the commisioner of oaths should stamp and sign . Take it to the registry of the court to get it stamped . The cost depends on the state . There is a receipt for it so I don't think its negotiable but this is Nigeria so I can't say. Send both the deed and the receipt to CIC

3. I have said earlier you don't need to notorize a Deed. This is because its an original document you are uploading . However if you feel you want to , there is a lawyer on this thread @perks I think . Lawyers don't have fixed price it depends on their status and yours

4. I think dupyshoo used deed so go through her post

5. You don't need to post the persons bank statement but if you can get it that's fine .

Any other clarfication will try and help .

I don't want to be a party pooper but I have read of applications being rejected for non submission of ECA and Ielts result .

For your sanity , I think you should raise a CSE to add these document.

I second this view. This is as extracted from the CIC website, as long as you correctly wrote your reference number, they will surely get thier copy from British council and credential evaluating body. People only upload to avoid them requesting for it at a later date, which I would believe may be due to inability to track their own copy for verification.

Your educational certificate or transcript is the most important which failure to upload may lead to a rejection. Please go to bed and thank God for the success of your application cos you havent broken any rule

'Where an ECA has been obtained, the applicant must provide the ECA reference number in their e-APR for online validation directly from the issuing organization.
A scanned copy of the ECA is not required when submitting the e-APR but may be requested by IRCC at a later date.'

Wow, at last, I have finally finished reading. I started from page 0 right to this last page and I have GAINED a lot. It is 100% worth my time. my suggestion
1 write a letter to the registry quoting this section asking for a correction.Have them sign and acknowledge receipt .

2 prepare an affidavit to reflect this error as contained in your marriage certificate .(you should title it affidavit of misrepresentation of profession)

3 if you were employed at the time of your marriage get a letter of reference and payment slip

4 write a detailed LOE to explain the error and steps you have taken to correct it.

5 scan them all and merge and place in the placeholder for marriage certificate with the marriage certificate that has the error

in my case is a mistake on the profession part for my spouse and I

below is an extract from the Marriage Act on correction.

" Any registrar, when authorized by the Principal Registrar, may correct any clerical error in any certificate of marriage filed in his office, upon production to him of the certificate delivered to the parties, and shall authenticate every such correction by his signature and the date of such correction"

Advice from you pro would be appreciated. I have been told that a mere sworn affidavit may not suffice except correction is done by the issuing registry.

CO SIGN 100 %. ?Not only did i pay this money i had to go to the useless school and spent another 3 days because some of my score sheets were
supposedly missing . The people at exams and records kept on acting like they were doing me a favour, someone even suggested that i had to return my certificate because my whole result will be submitted back to senate. it was the intervention of one of their Ogas that saved me. i dont even want to talk about how much extra i paid. that was my first time in that crazy place in over 10 years

Guys, please what's the process of reevaluating Ielts test results? LRWS 8, 5.5, 7.5, 6.5 test taken 8th April. I'm not happy with these. Reading which was the easiest for me during the test turned out to be my lowest score. Any suggestions?

you dont need a lawyer to witness it. A witness is someone who is present at the time of the transaction. when you finish preparing a deed , take it to the high court to get it stamped before a commissioner of oaths . However if you want to notorize the document you need a lawyer. i dont think you need to notorize the original of a gift deed . i wont notorize mine but its up to you.

well i wouldn't expect him to fix it for more than 6 months .the best would be 90 days and a further 90 days if PPR is not out

....should he be mindful of the FD tenure? E.g. He fixes the funds for 1 year...& CIC states that the whole PR process is 6 months max. Just thinking out loud here...may or may-not matter.
