I think after 24 hours you will be able to do that . When did you submit it ? Epudome: Haaa i cnt even edit anything in the profile, its nt giving me the opportunity to do that. And i cnt see anywhere to withdraw application. |

All the 3 things you cited look fine to me , wonder where the problem could come from . Check if the POF is above the required limit . If the require for you is say 15000 put 17000 . If this is not the problem you can withdraw the application and start allover again. @boldinc @vcole @40manlappy @erhnie pls contribute Epudome: IELTS SRLW 7.5,9,7.5,7 ECA done by WES Year of employment 2011 |

What license are you talking about ? The way NOC works is to know what you current job description as is applicable in canada . For example a lawyer's NOC is 4111 . Now if in Nigeria you are a lawyer and work in the job that has the duties listed out under NOC 4111 then that's the NOC you should pick . However if you are a lawyer that works in a bank as a cashier , you have to look for a NOC that describes those duties. On getting your documents assesed by an ECA(WES IQAS), its your highest degree that's relevant . Professions like Law, Medcine etc get higher points than others. You can't get a canadian lincense until you relocate to canada.I hope this helps I noticed you have been asking lots of questions with few replies . Please take your time to read from page 0 till the end . Go to the immigrate to canada website and read it too. When you are through you will have the basic knowledge at you finger tips. Goodluck olugere: Maximum 25 points).
Education Maximum 25 points University degree at the Doctoral (PhD) level or equalFootnote 2 25 points University degree at the Master’s level or equalFootnote 2 OR University level entry-to-practice professional degree (or equalFootnote 2). Occupation related to the degree must be: NOC 2011 Skill Level A, and licensed by a provincial regulatory body.
NOTE: Degree program must be in one of these fields of study: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy.
PLEASE With above NOTE that degree must in ......, my own degree ENgineering is not there. I have b.eng + m.eng in mechanical engineering. Pls shed more light on this. Also my noc is NOC A Power engineer,
how do i get the license |

Your file number and DOB is sufficient , but when you call you don't need to quote this number . Just say you are making enquiries . Also note that of they don't accept the SOR , they will send you an email tell you your documents are not complete Lochinny: I've already sent the statement of result but I can call them and explain if you say it's a good option. But how would they know I'm the one since my document is on transit |

Thank you @ehrnie Ehrnie: Q1 - Yes. you only need reference letter for the jobs you are claiming CRS points for. Yes, include your present job in personal details Q2 - For self -employment, the applicant must submit articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience). Q3 - I am not sure about you uploading your diploma degrees as they weren't evaluated...but I know for sure that you should upload you degree certs + IELTS result report + WES evaluation report. I hope someone else picks this aspect of your enquiry and gives you the best answer.
All the best! |

Sorry @remecy this response was for @cliitex @ cliitex this is in response to your question relating to visa refusal and work Have you provided your agent with this info ? What did he say ? By the way if you are not in canada the possibilities of getting a job is next to zero. If you are in Nigeria take it as zero . If your agent is promising you a job , he wants to eat your money . This is a DIY forum , read from page zero to the end . Its as easy as it can be(the process) remecy: Good day house. I just came across this page. I will answer your questions but I know for a fact you couldn't have read 371 pages in less that 24 hours . 1. NOC is the qualification of your job . Google NOC to know what your NOC for your present job is. NOC is for your job description not your degree qualification. 2 see answer 1 3see answer 1 4google WES and check their website to know what you need to do . I would suggest you use IQAS(google it too) they have a faster turn around time 5 you evaluate your highest educational qualifications 6 if you don't get 67 out of hundred you can't proceed Finally google immigrate to canada and that website will give you and insight to what the process is about . Read this forum from the first page to the last , else you will keep asking questions that you may not get answers to remecy: Am back. Questions- 1.what are the features of National Occupational Classification (NOC). What can i do with it regarding the immigration tips please. 2. can i get a job through NOC in Canada 3. How do i know if my current job falls under the NOC pls. 4. what is WES Canada and how do i use it to evaluate myself. 5. what credentials am i evaluating via WES is it my IELTS General test results or present credentials pls. 6. if i dont get a minimum of 67 points out of 100 in the FSW grid. does it mean i can proceed with the process. pls Thank you. |

@vcole , @boldinc pls I need clarifications thank you optionese: Please a follow up question to this .Am not yet in the ITA but I saw someone form and these questions struck me So the form says reference letter from your previous and current employer. My NOC for the application is for my prvious job between 2007-2012 . So the only reference I need is from this job and not my current employer right and include my present job in my personal details
Then for someone who is self employed what proof of employment woukd he submit- certificate of incopration ,tax returns , company bank statement . Is there any other thing?
Then for certificates I have a diploma and degree certificate . I only evaluated my degree , is that the only certificate and my eca/ielts I would upload or I have to upload my diploma ( I only have a statement of result) |

Ehrnie: NYSC is treated as employment and sits under personal history if and only if you are not claiming employment points for the time spent doing the NYSC. However, if you are claiming employment points for NYSC, then you have to move it to work history and please note that you will be required to provide a reference letter from your employer.

When you pay you will be sent an e-mail with two documents :the application form and a document checklist. At the bottom of the checklist there is a space for amendments . You can fax our documents or if your school allows send together with your transcripT. For the fax use hellofax.com it's very straightforward.
for you and your husband certificate again let me retiatrate what @vcole said: you two cannot use IQAS .you have to use the ECA for doctors and the ECA for pharmacists for your husband. It's not about the job experience but your qualifications

engineering is one of then in demand jobs in canada. So there is hope. You should check previous pages on people who got provincial nomination. On the search page type super hi. He got a provincial nomination. He's no longer active but if you read his post you will get insight. Are you less than 30 though? Master's? If you retake ielts and score well you can get EE

Write a letter explaining the mistake and your husband should sign ,scan it and send it as a fax using hello faxm google it . Its free, also if you haven't sent your documents from your end , there is a place at the bottom of the form that you can make corrections and changes use it. When you send the fax wait for like 3 working days and call them. Be persistent when you call don't let them give you a generic answer. All the best Lochinny: Good morning great people!! Please I have a problem. While filling IQAS application, I mistakenly put November 21st 2005 as the date my hubby finished school instead of 30th September 2005 that was written on the statement of result. I don't know how to correct it because IQAS can not be edited and I feel it might affect the evaluation. Please what should I do? |

you know i was reading on another forum where someone was crying baby like me on this IQAS processing time and most striking response was "if you cant be patient for 15 working days" how are you going to live through close to 6 months of waiting when you get an invite. God please sustain my faith for this journey . Amen 40manlappy: @optionese You made me laugh @ "i want to cry on your head"
You can't really predict IQAS. I had to call them today in respect of my wife's application. It has clocked about 12 working days with them already. All they said was that she should get it "in a couple of days"
They reminded me to check their website for their processing times which has increased to 15 working days. That was no news to me
I really wished it was hers that came out earlier being the principal applicant so that we can be in line for this week's draw but my own ECA application got completed first.
See my timeline below;
February 16: Payment and submission of application.
February 22: Acknowledgement of application.
March 7: Acknowledgement of academic documents. They informed me at that point that my file has been placed for processing.
March 20: Notification of ECA. Got a scanned copy of the IQAS certificate.
Processing time was about 9 working days/13 calendar days.
We just have to be patient and wait. You are not alone! |
