adeyemik:At the rate Hajia Zainab is going with the mindless borrowing, Nigeria will be needing N10 naira of every N10 naira earned to service debts. Zainab simply wants to make the country insolvent by deliberately borrowing irresponsibly to mortgage the future of the country when they leave office.

sage:Aba city is supposed to be the Kano city of Southeast Nigeria. In the pre-independence Nigeria, before multiple states creation and multiple state capitals, Aba and Kano were principal cities in Nigeria. You can compare for yourself if Aba has lived up to it's potential or not. Infact among all the Southern cities, Aba was the one that ended up with the worst outcome. Not just that Port harcourt and Onitsha surpassed and dwarfed it economically, it also fell from the league of the top 10 best places to live in Nigeria. My hope is that the leaders of Abia state and indeed all Abians will realize that they need to rebuild and reposition Aba first and foremost before the state will become a major state again in the federation. All the time and resources pumped into Umuahia while neglecting their comparative advantage in Aba shows the poor strategic mindset of Abia leaders. |
donbachi:Truly, unless those killers are given a taste of their own medicine, those hoping on them to simply stop their killing rampage are merely dreaming. |
post=90054751:I am sure the video is fake because it would have been reported by other vloggers in Onitsha. However, folks in many neighborhoods of Onitsha must begin to clear their gutters before the June - August heavy rains begin. |
Ruby5:When people deliberately block gutters throughout the city. The consequence is flooding. No Governor or President can clean your gutters for you! After the rains, the people should come out and CLEAR all the gutters and take the rubbish away. Not dumping the rubbish on the edge of the gutter only to be washed back into the drains again. Nigerians are amongst the most stubborn people that abuse their environments so much. Somehow, it's good when folks experience these things first hand. it helps them to understand the need for keeping the gutters open without any rubbish thrown into them. Many credible vloggers have called on people to stop dumping refuse into drainage channels and ofcourse there is need for government to widen the drainage gutters in many places now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21Hzzk0P1xU |
The people must quietly arm and organize themselves. Get some crates of Molotov , Encircle each of these places held by insurgents and move in at the appropriate time to take back your villages. Note that the insurgents have AK-47, so have something to respond with. Especially some within your team that will hideaway and target those insurgents with AK 47s. If you depend on Nigeria Police or Army, they will inform the insurgents about your battleplan and sabotage you even before you get near.

leicestercamper:@bolded~ GBAM! My greatest pain is that some Abians think more about defending the sorry state of Aba than protesting until the city is brought to what it should be. Mind you, Aba was once the greatest, most industrialized, and most developed city in Eastern Nigeria (I.e: Including the Present-day Cross River, Rivers, and Akwa Ibom). Today, you cannot point one single city in the entire old Eastern region that Aba is still better than! Take a look at Abakaliki video of yesterday, you will wonder why only Aba was the city in the entire region that failed to move forward all these decades! Yet, instead of my people to scream at this unacceptable situation, they post hazy, photoshopped 15 years old pictures of Aba and try to pass it as Aba of today. it's so SHAMEFUL! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJrSa1B37Kc&feature=emb_title |
Northerners and more specifically Fulanis have been robbing Nigeria blind. ~From Abacha to Babachir to Maikanti Baru to even Dangote, the list is endless. But, I LOVE IT!!! Southerners have decided to play the fool and the f00l they shall remain while Fulani continues to loot their commonwealth via all sorts of methods. |
Well, If he is sure that he is innocent, this is the only course of action. Again, the problem with Nigerians is that they imagine the whole world function like Nigeria where you can be accused of a grievous crime and you merely continue in office as if nothing happened without being cleared by an unbiased inquiry. |
I foresee the pipeline being sabotaged soon. Unless the gas is also used for the development of industrial cities in the East. So that everyone benefits. But to use Igbo resources exclusively for the development of Lagos state is definitely going to fail. |
sanctity454:Hope Uzodinma reminds me of Chris ngige. They stole another person's mandate, then they win the hearts and minds of the people through purposeful governance with the delivery of high-quality projects. Then the people are opposed to removing him from office because he turned out to be a high performer, even if the mandate was stolen. ![]() |
What security measures are being put in place to secure the market and other similar places? Those burning our land will continue to have a field day until we guard our environment. |
Centcanada:I knew the fact that they asked the dreaded Fulanis bandits camping in their forests to come out and live with them in the towns and cities will result in something dreadful. In the north, Buhari would easily deploy the army to help northern governors fight the Fulani bandits, but in the south, he wouldn't fight any bandit if they are Fulani. No matter their crime. The people must stop depending on government and take up their own security themselves. That is why I don't blame those who are very concerned with the truckloads of militants and marauders being shipped to their states to go set up lawless fiefdoms in the forest. Where they will loot, rape and kidnap natives for Ransome. Well Delta has a big problem in its hands now. |
Atiku clearly won the 2019 Presidential elections. Restoring his victory is only fair and just. Buhari's dictatorship would not concede defeat. Instead he used the shameless Mahmud Yakubu to simply award himself fictitious votes. Which till date, INEC has been unable to show who and where the results were transmitted from ![]() Nigeria has become such a caricature in the global community as a result of its illegitimate government. |
Nigerians will still be forced to pay for the bridge after using Abacha's loot to build it. It tells you how unforgiving the FG is on the people around the place where the bridge is sited. They must not have anything free from the FG as other Nigerians normally would. |
XANDERBOY85:To speak the truth without propaganda, Abakaliki today is easily in the top 2 best cities in the SE. Infact, only one city in the SE has more dual carriage roads within the city than Abakaliki. They just need to invest and create many new housing estates for private sector to develop quality housing to help transform the city. If they continue with quality roads and infrastructure as they are doing, it will become indisputably the best and most liveable city in the SE within 5 - 8 years. |
![]() Wonderful! You just told us what we didn't know. Now tell us if you will cut down on government luxuries such as fleet of new cars every 6 months, army of domestic servants in your house, a retinue of aides and special assistants, all sorts of bonus pay, duplicated functions at the bloated Federal Ministries etc, etc etc OR You will just use the opportunity to borrow even more unsustainable DEBT from China for dubious programs, that you very well know Nigeria may never be able to pay back the huge debt?

JasonScoolari:He is a musician like Olamide,Flavor or Whiz kid. I personally don't think he is as wealthy as folks hype. But I think it does his image a lot of help to call him "billionaire" when he probably is barely a millionaire. |
SpecialAdviser:They are not interested in cutting the obscene cost of governance, luxuries, fleet of cars, retinue of aides they enjoy! All they are after is how to use this economic situation to enrich themselves via more dubious DEBT for untraceable services!

amaniro: ![]() They use LGA system to look more money towards specific regions. So be sure they won't abolish it. |
With the move of the CBN to exclusively deny common businessmen of foreign exchange, while DANGOTE now gets even greater exclusive rights to the country's Foreign currency. The time has come for businesses to float international money transfer services for Nigerian businesses and for Nigerians abroad. TRUST is the key factor needed for Nigerians abroad to trust using this Nigerian owned App for money transfer. Unless Nigerians abroad use the APP for money transfer, the set up will never be successful. So they must be very diligent to avoid any type of Nigerian behavior of mago-mago with peoples' money, else it will not command the confidence these historical money transfer services have. This will help those supporting their aged parents with stipend with a better exchange rate than what CBN offer, , and also international money transfer into the international bank account of ordinary Nigerian businesses who need foreign currency but cannot compete with the Dangote. They can get foreign currency paid directly into their foreign bank accounts when they pay in naira using their local bank accounts through a participating Nigerian bank.

Dave Umahi is quietly transforming the state with solid high-quality infrastructure. I am particularly impressed with the use of trees on road median and along most roads in the beautiful, well-planned city! |
Wow! What wows me isn't just the project, but the high quality work that Gov. Umahi consistently delivers. |
![]() Nigeria is finished! Instead of cutting luxury, waste and cost of governance, Zainab will rather pile up unsustainable DEBT on Nigeria. Kwantinue! ![]()

Digitron:Nice structure. I hope they do proper landscaping of the place and the parking lot, to give it a great ambiance. Many times, We build even better structures than what is obtainable abroad. I have come to realize that what makes our country look so third-world is our lack of proper landscaping of the environment to complement the concrete buildings. We have so much belief that once you build a concrete structure, it it automatically beautiful and no landscaping with trees are needed whatsoever. The result is that even our best structures, Malls, and their parking lot always look mediocre and third world.

eduj:They should make it easy for folks to access this power. No bribes or down payments for forms to apply. Corruption is the reason people have not keyed into this project. |
