TravelRe: Which Nigerian City Has The Best Roads? by OreMI22: 2:25pm On May 14, 2020
Abuja has the best roads because 75% of Nigeria wealth was spent just on Abuja, while neglecting other cities.

Lagos in a way also comes second because it benefited immensely from Nigeria's wealth before Abuja became capital

They said if the Igbos and other sourhern ethnic groups should go, they will starve to death.

They said the Northerners are the ones who provide food for the Nation.

Ok....my Country people, take a look at all these hungry people in the North.

If the Northerners really providing food for the Nation, how come they can not feed their fellow hungry Hausa Fulani on the streets??
how come USA, United Nations, Canada, European Union, Israel, China and Southern Nigeria send millions/billions of Dollar aids/food to the North?

We all know Nigeria imports most of the food we eat.

The core Northern regions(Sahelian regions) are desert and unproductive.

The Middle Belt says they are no longer part of Arewa as the North West is trying to steal their land through RUGA and terrorism.
The north is the reason Nigerian beef is the most expensive in the world.

If agriculture was left to them the way they plotted, a cup of rice would be 100k by now

The most perplexing thing about nigerians is that they desperately want Biafra to remain as part of Nigeria. Yet they will fight tooth and nail to prevent an egalitarian society in Nigeria.

Nigeria's breakup is now inevitable. The only delay now is how to make it as peaceful as possible. Not that the oppressed Igbo youths today are not eager to take the fight to anyone who would like to fight to keep them enslaved, but wiser minds are prevailing on them to avoid unnecessary conflicts. I know in late 2017 that there were serious activities at sourcing weapons from Belarus and Ukraine.
Similar activities could have happened elsewhere. I would advise anyone searching for arms deals to continue because there will still be some bloodshed nonetheless. It is naive to expect freedom without fighting your oppressor. Nigeria's collapse is totally inevitable today.

COVID-19 and Oil price may just be God's way of helping Nigeria collapse peacefully without killing innocent people in the process. Many other groups including the northern minorities have realized that the Igbos had been right all along!

Reno Omokri has joined the train of those reacting to the decision made by the chairman of Access Bank, Herbert Wigwe on letting go of 75 percent of their workers as a result of losses the bank is currently experiencing.

In a post of his official social media page, he brought back the fact that the bank gave billions of naira to help the government to fight the novel virus, COVID-19.

He wrote "Access Bank donated billions to help government fight COVID-19. Now 75 percent of Access Bank workers face sack. In other countries, government helped private sector like Access Bank, so they don't sack workers. Our government is the problem"

If they didn'tt have money, why did they embark on the reckless jamboree of donating billion to Federal Government? This is the most sickening part of Nigeria! In other countries, they their Federal or Central government gave stimulus checks to employers to keep their workers and survive the harsh times. In Nigeria, government demands bribes disguised as donations and ask the employers to sack their staff if they run out of money!

Ater showing the Governor round the premises and some of their equipment, Mr Agbili briefed the Governor that they couldn't arrive the scene on time because of a little failure, explaining that the closest fire fighters who would have made it to the scene, would have been the Onitsha main market unit, but they were unfortunately fighting fire elsewhere.

Mr Agbili stressed that even when the fire fighters got to the scene, people were initially chasing them, pointing out that his men managed to escape the scene.

Nigerians Call For Gov Obiano’s Resignation Over Slow Response To Anambra Fire

Nigerians have demanded the resignation of Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, over his government’s slow response to the fire incident in Onitsha on Wednesday.

Three persons were said to have been killed including a mother and her child after a fuel tanker fell and went up in flames at MCC Bus stop near Toronto Hospital, Upper-Iweka, Onitsha.

Many houses along Iweka Road were burnt, some parts of Ochanja Market were affected while about six houses and vehicles were razed.

Reports say that it took over an hour for its neighbouring state’s fire service arrive at the location because of the distance and traffic on River Niger bridge and the Onitsha-Benin highway.

The Delta State Fire Service, on arrival, met a group of angry protesters, who threatened to burn the emergency vehicles for being late.

They blamed the Anambra State Government for the disaster by not providing fire-fighting equipment to the area.

The fire fighting vehicle soon ran out of water and the fire raged on till midnight.

Nigerians on Twitter have appeared unimpressed with Mr Obiano and have called for his resignation.

If it was up to Nigeria, they would totally ruin INNOSON simply because he is Igbo. They have tried several times and WILL STILL TRY AGAIN!

Any Igboman dreaming about his products being bought by Hausa/Fulanis should WAKE UP! They would rather buy Hyundai or Kantanka cars from Ghana than patronize a Nigerian of Igbo origin. We already know and have seen their venom against Igbo owned businesses. The same FG that promoted Peugeot as Nigeria's car and mandated ALL federal parastatals to buy Peugeot will not even buy INNOSON except Nigerians complain loudly?

Igbo businesses should target SE, SS, NC and some moderate SW state governments. After that, simply go to another African country and build a smaller assembly plant and EXPORT to the rest of Africa from there. If you try exporting from Nigeria, they will use all sorts of duties and levies to frustrate you. Other African countries will be glad to support you to build in their country, create employment and give them some tax revenue when exporting from their country.

The economics IS SIMPLE. Even Dangote with all his massive privileges given by Fulani Federal Government is busy building factories in every African country from the money stolen from Nigeria in unpaid taxes and below market forex exchange rate given to him. Staying in Nigeria alone is a very very poor strategy and even Dangote with all the generous tax breaks given to him knows that much. Any Igbo business large enough like INNOSON to be noticed by the Fulani overlords of Nigeria already know they are targeted for destruction. INNOSON is totally included in their evil agenda.

The more he depends on Nigerian market, the more he unnecessarily risks his company. Building a plant in a friendly African country as Sierra Leone or Gambia for EXPORT is be a better expansion strategy than building a larger company in Nigeria for export. The nation’s total public debt rose by N3.32trn in one year to N25.7trn as at the end of June 2019, the Debt Management Office said on Tuesday.

The Federal Government owed N20.42trn as of June 30, 2019, while the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory had a total debt portfolio of N5.28trn.

The debt stock is made up of N8.32trn ($27.16bn) external debt and N17.38trn borrowed domestically, according to the DMO.

The nation’s public debt, which stood at N22.38trn as of June 2018, increased to N24.39trn in December 2018 and N24.95trn in March 2019.

The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria noted last month that the rising public debt was one of the headwinds to the nation’s growth prospects.

The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, said in August that the country did not have any debt challenge but a challenge with generating sufficient revenue.

“There is a lot of insensitivity around the level of our debt. I want to restate that our debt is not too high; what we have is a revenue problem. Our debt is still very much within a reasonable fiscal limit. In fact, amongst our comparative countries, we are the least in terms of borrowing,” she had said.

A former US Ambassador to Nigeria , Mr John Campbell , has said though Nigeria possesses extraordinary potential , it is the truly troubled giant of Africa .
Campbell stated this in a new book he co - authored which was presented to the public on Thursday in Lagos at the US Consul General ’s residence.
He also saluted the entrepreneurial spirit of Nigerians in the book titled , “Nigeria : What Everyone Needs to Know ”
Campbell stated in the book that virtually every major university in the English- speaking world hosted Nigerian academics with the country ’s medical personnel found in hospitals all over the United States and elsewhere
---Speaking about mainly Igbos and Yorubas.

He said , “ Though it possesses extraordinary potential , Nigeria is truly the troubled giant of Africa . And Nigeria exports Christian clergy to the United Kingdom and the United States . Nigerians living outside of Nigeria have been notably successful in business and finance , and they are known for their entrepreneurial spirit. ’’
In the book , Campbell and Matthew T . Page , Associate Fellow in Chatham House ’s Africa Programme , described Nigeria as a nation characterised by a type of corruption in which government or public officials seek personal gain at the expense of the led .
They stated , “Kleptocracy and government dishonesty have corrosive effects on popular confidence in governance . Official and unofficial corruption undermine the democratic trajectory and risks overwhelming it. It is among the most important hindrances to the country ’s economic and social development
----Speaking about mainly Hausa / Fulanis.

“Despite ubiquitous cell phone use and other signs of modernity , the country is one of the poorest in the world . By indices ranging from levels of female literacy to average lifespan , Nigeria scores among the lowest in the world . The country ’s population has grown explosively without the economic and infrastructure development necessary to support it. ’’

It is clear that whatever Nigeria is revered and respected for are because of Igbos and Yorubas.
Whatever Nigeria is a shithole for is mainly because of Hausa/Fulani.

Little wonder why some people want a unitary military structure instead of the progressive regional governments Nigeria prospered under as a basis for national unity at independence.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Administration Earned N16.6trn From Oil In Four Years by OreMI22: 7:28pm On Oct 15, 2019
Maniagist2:
THE administration of President Muhammadu Buhari earned N16.647 trillion from the oil and gas industry in its first tenure, from May 2015 to April 2019.

According to data obtained from various reports of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, the country’s earnings from the petroleum industry was from crude oil and gas sales, royalties, Petroleum Profit Tax, PPT, and other sources.

The money was earned by Nigeria only and does not include earnings by oil and gas companies operating in the country. The total oil revenue represented the amount that was later shared to the Federal, State and Local Governments after the inclusion of non-oil revenue, as well as after other deductions and transfers.

However, from the reports, it was observed that the amount earned by Buhari in the first four years of his administration was 43.6 per cent lower than the N29.514 trillion earned by the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan from May 2011 to April 2015.

Giving a breakdown of oil revenue recorded during the Buhari administration, the CBN reports stated that from May 2015 to December 2015, oil revenue stood at N2.3 trillion; in 2016, 2017 and 2018, earnings from the industry stood at N2.693 trillion, N4.109 trillion and N5.63 trillion respectively, while from January to April 2019, the country earned N1.882 trillion.

On the other hand, the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan earned N29.59 trillion from the petroleum industry, broken down into N6.321 trillion from May 2011 to December 2011; N8.094 trillion, N6.809 trillion and N6.793 trillion in 2012, 2013 and 2014 respectively, while from January to April 2015, the administration recorded oil revenue of N1.497 trillion.

The amount earned by the Buhari administration in its first tenure represented 61.42 per cent of the country’s budgets for 2015 to 2018. Specifically, between 2015 and 2018, the Federal Government’s total budgets stood at N27.1 trillion.

In 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, the Federal Government’s budget estimates were N4.5 trillion, N6.06 trillion, N7.44 trillion and N9.1 trillion respectively.

Commenting on earnings from the petroleum industry during the Buhari administration, the immediate past president of the Nigerian Association for Petroleum Economists, NAPE Professor Omowumi Iledare, argued that the money was better utilized.
