Wow!!! Gov Obiano Still Locked in EFCC Cell by FG Cabals! One of the reasons why I am totally convinced that the over-confidence of Fulanis will lead Nigeria exactly where the over-confidence of Putin has led Russia is the humiliation of former Gov. Obiano by Abubakar Malami. It has been more than 6 months now that EFCC told us that Gov. Obiano was on their watch list for stealing the Anambra paris club refund. Since then, EFCC has changed its story more than three times. Either claiming that Obiano stole security votes or that they arrested him for limited assets declaration or making a cash withdrawal. EFCC should bring this "evidence" to a court of law so that Obiano can be jailed for stealing Anambra's money or allowed to live his life in retirement after the courts have scrutinized the facts of the allegation. It is on record that Gov Obiano was one of the most fiscally sound governors in Nigeria. Even with the low federal allocation given to Anambra by the Fulani government, Obiano managed to build solid landmark projects for his people that even northern governors collecting more than 15 times bigger allocation than Obiano could not In this same country, we have seen governors taking bribes on camera and they were said to have been framed using "film tricks" just because they belong to the owners of Nigeria. Apart from governors, every federal ministry including the NNPC has huge financial scandals discovered every day. But since these federal ministries are headed by those who feel they own Nigeria, EFCC neither put them on their "watch list" nor investigates or arrests any of them. Abubakar Malami and his fellow Fulani oligarchs doing as they please in Nigeria with the continuous humiliation of Igbo leaders in this country should understand that it is coming to a crescendo. There is a limit that people can take. Those Nigerians that think they own others and treat others as slaves should not be surprised. These things are happening quietly but the implications will be huge for the country when it culminates.

Ezewuzie01:Sir, I don't know where you came from. I have never read your comment here. I just want you to know that faceless people like you cannot cajole me away from pushing for a glorious Anambra state. I know Prof Soludo means every word to do his best for Anambra state. We shall pray for him and always remind him of his promises in order to sustain his morale to do the difficult job necessary in liberating Anambra state. I support and have always supported Prof Soludo. While very much aware that to build a prosperous and liveable Anambra state, he must be ready to confront those powerful forces currently benefiting from the use of thugs to steal our IGR and stifle development in the state. Some of these men are the first to buy him 10 pages congratulatory messages on the pages of newspapers and throw parties in his honor at every juncture. We know Prof Soludo means well for our people. However, the trappings of power and the master treachery of those who know how to use it can prevent one from doing what is right. Even when he intended to do so. We shall be HERE to remind him and point out his promises if he ever grows soft on doing what is necessary to salvage and transform Anambra state. It is NOT going to be easy. But we shall support him in prayers and always remind him of his mission so that he does not give up when the going gets tough. |
Congratulations to Prof CC Soludo! Remember that you promised today to end LAWLESSNESS and IMPUNITY in everything. Including roads construction, construction of markets, encroachment of buildings on state roads, indiscriminate disposal of refuse, tax evasion, use of thugs to collect IGR taxes and many other ills preventing Anambra from becoming the liveable and prosperous homeland you yearn for. Remember, Remember, Remember! We shall be here to remind you of your promise if you become too soft to step on toes and take the difficult decisions needed to get the job done. CONGRATULATIONS Sir! |

dejol88:Meanwhile, the best roads in Nigeria are in the Northwest region, while the absolutely WORST roads in Nigeria are in the Southeast region. Yet when it comes to tolling roads, ALL the southeast roads are tolled, while only one road leading from Abuja to the Northwest is tolled! Go figure the shameless injustice called Nigeria. |
AsomughaChuks05:Obiano's legacies will continue to shine long after he has left office. I just love the guy's courage and leadership style. Meanwhile, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Anambra state and NiMet to provide standard aero-meteorological services for safe flight operations at the Anambra state international Airport, Umueri has been completed. Anambra will continue to grow from strength to strength from Obiano's solid foundations

Hopefully, the Onitsha Hotel will be completed. If the man who bought the property is unable to complete it, the concessioning contract should be revoked. Based on the location of this property and the propensity of becoming a security threat used by criminals to operate in the area. This is a good instance of why the state government should think very carefully if it wants to allocate the land inside the ICC to a private individual to build a hotel. Some of these "private" companies are 419 outlets that will take the state funds and simply disappear after a while. I think the same shady company Noiz Konsults was awarded the Onitsha Hotel, Ikenga mall, Awka, and the Nnewi mall. All three projects failed! So the state does not need to be told that Noiz Konsults must not be awarded any further state project. Sometimes, it is always better for the state government to build the hotel itself and then concession out its management to reputable hotel chains like Transcorp-Hilton, Protea, Marriot, Golden Tulip, Sheraton, Radisson Blu, etc. It is dangerous to sell them a piece of land or a hotel that is 90% completed because they might mess you up and leave it as uncompleted. The way they did for the Onitsha Hotel but the Agulu Lake (Golden Tulip) hotel that was first completed by the state, and then handed over to Golden-Tulip for management has been a success story.

God1000:Yes! I saw about 1,000 of them in Yobe on Tuesday |
Zorbadezinc:Yet your non-money squandering state does not even have a re-roofed elementary school to show as an achievement. Despite collecting waaay more federal Allocation than Anambra. ![]() SMH for mad envious people everywhere. |
BKayy: ![]() Some People still wan take style tell you say they are more impressed with anything in Lagos than groundbreaking achievements in Anambra |
AsomughaChuks05:Yep! You sure did mention it as a worthy thank you to the man for his fantastic service to the state. Great minds like you are a treasured resource in Igboland. We need more men of high wisdom and a strong sense of justice for everyone to continue to encourage excellence in our land. |
Lol......Russia is imposing sanctions on USA. ![]() The sanction thing works like a fight between a billion-dollar conglomerate and a tiny company. Using Nigeria as an instance, Dangote conglomerate can stop buying sugar cane from a major farmer in Jos, and also influence other buyers not to buy the farmer's produce. To make up the shortfall, it could invest in farmers in Cameroon or Benin to supply it with Sugar cane. Of course the farmer can fight back by refusing to buy Dangote cement for his one-room shack construction project. However in reality, Dangote can ruin the farmer by blocking 100% of its income while the farmer cannot even hurt 1% of Dangote's business in Jos alone. Russia is about the size of Texas's economy. Worse still, it is not as innovative as Japan in high-tech goods critically needed in the USA. Therefore, it has almost nothing EXCEPT GAS! Unfortunately, it cannot afford to stop selling its oil and gas because 100% of its income comes from there too. Not to mention that USA has its own abundant oil and gas supplies too. |
post=110916989:The venue of the meeting was still inside the International Convention Center!!! Now Anambra has a befitting venue for big or small gatherings. I just hope that Prof Soludo will expedite the construction of the International Convention Center Hotel so that staff working in the hotel can be used to regularly clean and maintain the ICC edifice. Else, it will surely become a junkyard in a few years like every Nigerian edifice built without a solid maintenance plan.

post=110891058:Wow!!! Thank you for the video! |
ANSMEDIA:Wow! This is fantastic!!! |
PDPGuy:Absolutely! For the airport to become a true international hub, an international standard airport hotel needs to be located within the airport for passengers on long lay overs or those who have midnight flights to arrive and wait at the hotel for some hours before their flight. A standard international airport hotel within the airport will enhance the suitability and ease of using this airport for both Nigerians and foreigners. |
Even the worst hater cannot say Obiano didn't perform fantastically! My fervent hope and prayers are that Prof. Soludo will think in transformational ways to solve age-long challenges, and not act like typical Nigerian university academics that are obsessed with their own (limited) knowledge of what they think is right. While they lose sight of the bigger picture about other truly important transformational projects. One of the many things that made America great is that its best infrastructure isn't always an exclusive preserve seen only at its capital city Washington DC. Which is precisely the opposite doctrine adopted by many European countries (except Germany) and African countries (except South Africa) that look like Bush outside their capital city. For instance, I doubt that a true academic produced by Nigerian universities would think great enough to build a world-standard airport with a runway longer than the Abuja airport runway and an international conference center that is bigger than the one in Abuja! Obiano understood that Anambra needed such a standard international runway with approach/landing lights and other facilities due to the need to have the capacity of landing all sizes of huge cargo planes even if it happens after 10 years of airport operation. In the same way, he strived to make the terminal building of international standards with escalators and other facilities seen in airports abroad, instead of being content with Nigerian airports terminal building standards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwaZoy-OguU |
Balkan:Hehehe...lol....fulani guy preaching against Islam? ![]() Abeg, let Umahi borrow from Islamic bank and improve the lives of Ebonyians! After all, many Ebonyians are practicing good Muslims. By the way, the dispute in Nigeria WAS NEVER and HAS NEVER been about religion. Its just a tribe in Nigeria that wanted to hide under Islam to dispossess others of their land. A Nigerian practicing whatever faith they like can live with other Nigerians. AS LONG AS HE DOES NOT GO INTO THE BUSH TO ANNEX LARGE SWATHES OF FARMLAND AND CALL IT A "RUGA-CALIPHATE" |
harqinhola:Amongst Yoruba candidates, Ayo Fayose is the most tested, trusted and qualified. Igbo will support Chief Ayo Fayose for President. |
ANSMEDIA:Oga, Believe me, I am not bashing the government. I am saying that someone should call the attention of the contractor to the issue/erosion threat NOW before they leave the site and claim it should be a new contract. We are all interested in this thing getting fixed now that it won't cost anything except telling the contractor to address it, than when millions or billions would be required to address the erosion from taking down the bridge. The pictures I posted were from the video of yesterday. Obviously, the road marking has not reached the bridge area yet. Its still ongoing having started from the expressway end of the airport road. If you can disprove me and post any pictures today showing the bridge had been marked at this point and the erosion starting around the gutter had been addressed, I will be very happy.
|
Landmack:Yes, your observation is absolutely on point! I hope they use concrete or grass to protect the base of the twin bridges and the drainage channels going into the stream. You could already see that flood is already eating deep beside one of the drainage channels. You are right that erosion will eventually sweep the sand at the base of the bridges and could cause them to collapse soon. Unless they take precautions now to avoid that eventuality, rather than wait to spend huge money on remediation after erosion has caused huge damage to the bridge. That is the only problem I have with many Nigerian contractors. Since they are not held accountable to pay if their project collapses after a few years, they turn a blind eye to little precautionary things that will cost next to nothing when done timely to safeguard their project. They will do a good job with the physical structure, but fail to do just a little precautionary step to make sure they protect the bridge from being eroded by stormwater or heavy flood during the peak of the rainy season. Even when it's so obvious to even lay people, that a risk of project failure due to erosion will happen unless the threat is quickly addressed.

ANSMEDIA:I know you have connections in government. So i would not argue. I will just report what i saw. TBH, I don't dwell on hype and falsehoods posted on the internet. I report what I see with my two eyes. The main access road from the expressway is a dual carriageway. As you approach the airport gate from the expressway, you will notice the road on the right going to Nteje is a single carriageway that has been graded, and final touches for asphalting going on. On the left, the airport access road to Nsugbe has not started. Although you can see where the road would be when they decide to construct it. If they initially planned to make the other two access roads to Nsugbe and Nteje dual carriageways, what I observed clearly showed they were building a single carriageway. |
IGBOSON1:Yes. I saw the roads last Xmas and they are well constructed and about 5km long from the airport gate. One thing I respect about Obiano is that he tries to do high-quality projects. Thus he strives to make his projects meet international standards. I was truly amazed at how modern the airport toilets were with a motion sensor flushing mechanism and motion-sensor hand driers! Every one of them in the various toilets worked! Just like seen in international airports abroad!
|
wizzyvibes:No, the other access roads to the airport are single-lane roads. The first one that joins the Nteje road in front of Marist Secondary school is almost completed. That is the one Obiano was referring to. Construction on the second one that will connect to Nsugbe (3-3 road) (i.e. short cut from GRA Onitsha) is yet to start.

Anambra International Airport Dual Carriage access road commissioned! Another one done and dusted by Obiano! Operation: No uncompleted projects left behind! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oE8mfk2QNBw

JohnBullMySon:Wow, you don change o! I could not get you angry ![]() Kudos my guy! |
JohnBullMySon:This guy again? You totally lack home training in the manner you make your point against unprovoked comments that you disagree with. If i mention JohnBullMyGaySon as one of the distasteful people here, you will say I'm insulting you and you will lure me out and blah, blah, blah. This comment is part of the reason i say those things about you. Although I agree in principle with you on this issue rather than what Igboson is saying. Yes, I have also differed with Igboson on his views against IPOB that has truly overstepped their welcome and their activities are totally ill-thought-out and stvpid. However, Igboson has a right to say what he said without you telling him that he is talking rubbish. Although, I totally agree with you that IPOB isn't fighting the Igbo cause, but now fighting for some personal agenda of whoever is controlling IPOB now. Everyone here knows that Igboson applies maximum restraint in his comments and tries not to bully people based on their contrary opinions. The least you could do is to restrain your uncultured language on people like that. That is why I love to go there with you when I have time to post for a while. It gives me some type of joy getting under your skin the way you do it to people with your comments sometimes ![]() |
Willie Obiano has truly done very well! He has written his name in gold by completing all his key landmark projects instead of abandoning them to the next government. It shows he truly wanted to use these groundbreaking facilities to uplift the state and not just take credit for launching them and diverting the burden of completing them to someone else.

globemoney:Dr Ebelechukwu Obiano will likely win easily. Stella Oduah is a force to reckon with if she had remained in PDP. Right now, it will be hard to convince oduah's PDP supporters to vote APC. |
chiefobdk2:Peter Obi served Anambra very well and crowned his service by bringing a bigger banking professional and technocrat Obiano to succeed him and pilot the state to greatness. Peter Obi's only flaw was to attempt to teleguide and totally dominate Obiano from achieving his own vision for Anambra. In the same vein, Obiano has served Anambra with distinction and crowned his service by drafting a bigger technocrat than himself to continue to pilot the state to greatness. He will repeat the same Peter Obi's mistake if he tries to teleguide and dominate Soludo from achieving his own vision for Anambra. Those who perpetually fan the embers of enmity between Obi and Obiano are mistaken. Both men love Anambra state, but differ in their vision on how to quickly develop the state physically and economically. Of course since Obiano was in the driver's seat, he insisted on doing the projects he believed would transform the state. |
Alusiizizi:They can make him IGP wetin kwancern me? The important thing is that he has showed the world how fantastically corrupt the leaders of the police and security services are in Nigeria. So kwantinue to the next corrupt drug deal or release of dangerous terrorists who paid up. |
NkanuSon:Lol.... ![]() Only the incurable optimist does not see the yeye play they are using this port to toy with people's emotions. Expect this port to function under the current regime at your hilarious heart break and total disappointment. |
