Gboom:C,mon shatap you pretentious corrupt government official. Many less corrupt African countries like Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Botswana are not even disputing some of Trump's assertions, it is roundly corrupt and murderous Nigeria that you are talking about? Nigerians are going to Libya, Sudan or Saudi Arabia to do ashewo and you don't think it's a shithole for her citizens to be running to such godforsaken lands? Even Ghana today is better governed in every human development indices than Nigeria. Yet, you say Nigeria isn't a shithole just because Trump said the obvious? |
Where are the men and they are sending women where men are running?? Shekau will soon have many wives for his fighters who would later become suicide bombers after they have been brainwashed. |

bugidon:There is really no need to reply the paid hatchet Buhari writers on the internet. Even Buhari's wife know her husband has failed to uphold his mantra "I belong to nobody and i belong to all" Buhari's administration has been hijacked by powerful Fulani cabal who have a frightening agenda to kill and dominate Nigeria be force using Nigerian armed forces as Fulani army. I could have suggested Nigerians should arm and resist, but truly the best thing is to get your voters card and vote these evil men out of power. Any Nigerian complaining simply needs to get a voters card and make sure you vote. Else you should enjoy an even more corrupt and draconian regime if they get a second term. |
christejames:Although that lake gives good ambiance to the school, They should throw a few catfish into that lake and in a few months they will be harvesting tons of fish with little or no labor. This is how to utilize your endowments very well. |
Nigeria has truly gone to the dogs |
Buhari is totally determined on annexing people's land just because Fulanis are cattle readers? Why not annex lands in the north and give Benue farmers for free? This is why everyone must be ready to defend their homeland. You can clearly see their expansionist agenda to gradually overwhelm and dominate all states in Nigeria using the FG as their chief political tool to achieve it.. . |

PDPGuy:Serious questions for You: Has Asaba airport knocked out Luxurious bus drivers on the Lagos Onitsha route? Has Enugu intl. airport caused the closure of Lagos International airport? This is the type of mindset our Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani compatriots have that if Igboland has any infrastructure, their area will collapse. One of the things that i hate about Nigerians is absolutism in all their reasoning. Everything is either extremely black or extremely white and there is no middle ground for anything else. The morbid fear that if another airport develops, Enugu airport will mysteriously die is part of the extreme mindset of reasoning common among Nigerians. This is why in some villages never develop, because those who built a fine house in the 1960s kill off the younger men trying to build houses because they believe nobody else should have a decent house except themselves.. What will happen is that some airlines may prefer to fly to Anambra and some others like Ethiopian will maintain their Enugu dominance. People used to flying Turkish airline for example may like to use Anambra airport, while those used to the Addis Ababa route may choose Ethiopian. In many Cities of the world (Note that i said cities and not even states, there are two viable airports. Delta state with a population less than the entire southeast has two viable airports. |
Abogwara:Using direct labor without supervision is like using a pig to clean your house. After mixing the cement on the tarred road, they leave it there to dry and make that portion rough and unsightly |

THE TRUTH ABOUT CATTLE COLONIES The Nigerian govt. have decided to establish cattle colonies in every state of the country. Each colony will be five thousand hectares of land(5,000). This will be for fulani herdsmen. Do you know that : (1) 1 hectare is a football field. (2) 10 hectares is one square kilometer. (3) 100 hectares is 10 square kilometers. (4) 1,000 hectares is 100 square kilometers, ie 100,000m by 100,000m. And now > (5) 5,000 hectares is 500 square kilometers, ie 500,000 m by 500,000m. This is a stretch of 25 kilometers by 20 kilometers of land mass. This is the kind of land mass they want for the fulani colonies. Imagine parts of the land stretching from Zuba to Gwagwalada to Airport junction to kuje to Aya towards Nyanya to Buari and environs. # Do you know that many local Governments land mass in Nigeria are smaller than one colony?. In fact almost every local government in the South south, south East, and South west is smaller than one colony. # So they want to establish one Fulani local Govt Area in every state of Nigeria. # Do you know that there is only one (1) cattle colony in the whole world? It is in Pakistan, near the town of Karachi. # Do not read alone. Pass on. Peace. SAMBISA FOREST * 686 square kilometers. * 6.8 million hectares. * 68 million plots of 100 feet by 100 feet. * At 5 cows per plot, it can take 340 million cows. * 340 million cows is 18 times the current number of cows in Nigeria. They have not told us what exactly they're looking for. But we know! SAY NO TO HERDSMEN COLONIES. What is a colony? The dictionary defines colony as a settlement of emigrants(settlers)who move to a new place, but remain culturally tied to their original place. The following amongst others will happen if you allow the proposed colonies setup in the 36 states & the FCT. 1. mosques will be opened in your ancestorial homes with horn speakers to call for prayers. You must not complain because if you do, you will be seen as fighting their culture & belief! 6. They will not obey the laws, custom & tradition of your land where the colony is located. They obey islamic law, custom & tradition! Please say no to this evil Jhardist agenda. investnow2013:Great shots investnow2013! I love how everyone now drill borehole for water needs in the houses for the residents. This is another responsibility of government which we know they will never provide such infrastructure as piping water to every home. Thus, everyone providing their own borehole or wells and pumping water into a reservoir largely takes care of water needs in a typical Nigerian home. I think the government can legislate that every house must drill a well or a borehole for those who can afford. Then water MUST be pumped into a surface reservoir through a pump. So that the wells are sealed and not become sources of water born diseases if they are open hand dug wells we used to have in Nigeria. The next move is to allow private individuals to generate power and distribute to limited areas or cities. That will solve the issues of chronic lack of power in Nigeria. The more you remove responsibility for anything from the government and hand it over to private companies, the better the services. See how all of a sudden telephones work in Nigeria because it was finally removed from control of government. Once government touches anything, they kill it with corruption and ineptitude.

yanshDoctor:Niger State alone has land mass of SE and SS combined. Yet, not much people live there. Sokoto, Kebbi, Kano,Jugawa,Katsina and many others have massive uncultivated landmass. The FG should develop those open areas and leave places where families are already doing juju for an inch of land alone. Unless of course this is a tactics to annex those places gradually using this smokescreen of cattle colonies. |
Yyeske: ![]() Oga, You are already crying because i gave you the interpretation of your senseless post. If your concern was to have roads into the areas, then articulate exactly what you mean. Instead of targeting real estate when you are talking about roads. Faced with your silly suggestion of stopping estate development in Anambra until all infrastructure from the government is put in place and you are already denying yourself. Everyone knows the importance of roads development in creating the Anambra mega city project. Some of the roads can simply not be built now based on the level of finances available. Thus, the suggestion to make adequate space for such key arterial roads as estate development occur so that in the future they can be built without much demolitions. Chime Avenue Enugu is example of such. It was always marked out as a dual carriage since early 1960s. However, the funds were only available in 2002 when Chimaroke was Governor and he did it without any demolitions because people simply were prevented from building too close to the single lane road that existed for decades. That is what everyone has been saying. MAKE PROVISION FOR FUTURE EXPANSION OF ROADS INTO DUAL CARRIAGE WAYS NOW, even when the funds to build all that infrastructure does not exist. BUT DO NOT STOP REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT BECAUSE THE GROWING POPULATION NEED DECENT HOMES TO ACCOMMODATE THEM. Despite what you think is "massive" estate development, we haven't even reach solving just half the housing deficit in Anambra. In Onitsha today, people pay 0ne year in advance for buildings still under construction just to have flats allocated to them. The rate of new building should be 5 times what it currently is right now. All those advocating for 11 million Igbos in the north to relocate to the SE, where do you think they will live if they left the north today and there are not enough available and affordable residential flats in the SE to-let? All the houses you think are too many presently in Anambra will not fit all of them even if you asked everyone presently living in Anambra right now to vacate their homes for the returnees. That is why i advocate opening up new areas on the northern fringes of Onitsha and Awka where ample land exist. Nkisi road from GRA Onitsha needs to be dualized all the way to Aguleri so that real estate developers can have all the land in that axis to build. The same way the road from Awka to Achalla needs to be dualized to open up the northern fringes of the state capital for development. Of course the major dual carriage linked with wide dual carriage streets in each easte to cater for future massive population that will eventually live there. We need those houses desperately just as we need the Government to make sure every major street in the new estate is wide enough for a dual carriage road , even if only a single carriage can be afforded in the interim.. |
If this constitution did not exist, many problems in Nigeria today including herdsmen slaughter of villages would have been impossible to happen. |
AnambraDota:My dear Anambradote, One of the things about some of our people abroad is BLIND ARGUMENT. That is when people open their mouth and argue against the obvious for the sake of being contrary. That very annoying attitude they got from Umunna meetings always make them look and sound dumb in the wider global society. I have seen this among many Diasporans who even at their work places deliberately choose an opposing view and disgrace themselves through being vehement on something that is obvious to even a goat. They sometimes argue that some blacks are white people erroneously born as blacks in Nigeria and other truly weird topics. You could see clearly that the video is indeed Agulu hotel, yet you choose to make other forum member consider you of very low IQ by arguing pointlessly. If you said the furnishing were inferior and cited appropriate resources to show it is not up to standard, then at least we know where your argument is coming from. But to vehemently refuse to accept it is not Agulu hotel is same as arguing the Obiano's picture is indeed Rochas or Okowa. Okay, i guess the video below was taken in Jamaica or better it is a hotel in Jalingo. Yet, you expect us to view you as an intelligent being? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1JC00a2I4M |
Nigerians hate making sacrifices for anything. If not, if a reasonable proportion of people simply reject cow meat. It is not only good for their health, it will force these herdsmen to earn less and less from those communities they are killing. In time, they will move away towards where their business is demanded and start killing the people there too. |
ARROBA:The airport can take any type of large body aircraft. It has landed a Boeing 777 300ER a Boeing 787 900 series a Boeing 788 An Airbus A350-900 series landed in December. https://www.facebook.com/wilsonuche1/videos/10155929281887246/ https://www.facebook.com/wilsonuche1/videos/10155929225852246/ Our people just need to stop suffering themselves landing in very faraway places. Then sleep in a hotel or inconvenience family members by trying to save pennies avoiding to stay in Lagos hotels. Then then embark on grueling 8-9 hours road trip to the East. The silliness of such itinerary is the equivalence of somebody who is coming to Lagos or Ibadan, but chooses to first land in Accra, Ghana and then take a 6 hours road trip to Lagos or fly a smaller unsafe plane to Lagos or Ibadan! When they could have flown directly into Lagos intl. from their origin in Europe or America instead of first going to Accra. Many Igbo folks abroad are so out of date that they don't even know that there is a new Intl. airport in Enugu! I say this because i know many that laugh when i tell them and think it's untrue. You know our people are very stubborn set of human beings to convince once they knew something a certain way in the past. So many of them that left Nigeria 20 years ago through Lagos airport still think only Lagos is the international airport in Nigeria till date. Folks need to fly directly to Enugu and stop complicating their trips and unnecessarily risking their lives in unnecessary road trips and local flights. .

Yyeske:Oga, If i understand you well, I think what you are trying to say is that the state should ban real estate development in the state. Perhaps ask folks to go and build in Benue, Kontangora until the plan for Anambra is out. Meanwhile the housing deficit in the state should just be ignored. If people pay 6 months in advance to find a flat still under construction, even if they wait 5 years in advance, to get a flat it shouldn't matter so long as you or your family are not the ones affected. |

Omooba77:Which money? The money those Buhari crooks have already looted? You will wait for ever to see any money. ![]() |
Reverse law so that the Fulanis will graze freely on people's farms? Who is ever worried that these farmers are now impoverished and their only means of livelihood destroyed? Are Fulanis the only people whose interest should be defended in Nigeria? Does the Federal Government take the money paid by customers to purchase one cow? If cattle rearing is a business, why won't the herders pay for a ranch somewhere and graze their cattle as it is done in every country in this world? |
Nigeria is just a ticking time bomb that will definitely explode. |
Buhari should SACK all his so called Igbo ministers but he will not because Buhari is a crook. He was only rewarding fellow crooks and criminals who helped his election and calling them Igbo. What Igbo want is for Buhari to stop neglecting federal infrastructure in the zone. Not appointing his friends and saying they are Igbo. |
In Buhari's mind, Nigerians are merely supposed to be conquered people under the Hausa Fulani internal colonial authority Time will tell how long the new colonial masters will be tolerated to dictate over peoples land and lives |
This is a cute little hotel. But the guy could have tried to make it a two storey building. With all the big lobby downstairs,Kitchen and Laundry, i'm wondering how many rooms will be left for lodging upstairs. Like 5 rooms? Unless he plans to build another set of rooms by the side. Then you wonder where will the pool be and parking? Anyhow, kudos to anyone trying to create jobs in their community no matter how small. Anambra1st son, Please don't be offended. i appreciate your great updates.I don't think it's courteous to put people's faces online without their permission. Unless they are already celebrities. Please always blur out people's faces when you post. If you won't want me to take your picture at a function and post your image on NL, you can do those people a little respect by blurring out their faces. It's just a basic etiquette to respect other people's rights and privacy. Emulate how people like Spyder880 never post people's pictures online no matter how much he wants to show what is behind the pictures. Even when the people are laborers or groundnut sellers.

Gabrinoz:Sen. Sani is actually very qualified to be president of a diverse state as Nigeria. He understands democracy, he understands the diversity of Nigeria but he lacks executive experience. BUT, i personally prefer Atiku because most of the big dogs holding Nigeria hostage can be checkmated by Atiku's immense political experience and grassroot support spread almost uniformly across Nigeria. |
