Just look at Buhari boasting about not stealing. Yet Yusuf is able to afford N52 million naira for a mere bike toy. If Buhari were not President, where will an average teenager find such amount? Buhari is a thief! He is just careful to loot Nigeria through inflated dubious projects given to his cronies as Dangote etc, who return the money to him. |
Ofuzo:Oga, go and drink your medicine. If they put Rochas and Obiano you will choose Rochas? Biko, park well. Nigeria has been a sh*t hole for a long time. It has the worst types of leaders and also the worst types of followers who would rather live in poverty as long as their tribesman is calling the shots. A country that will choose to kill Enugu Intl . airport that has potential to grow her economy, just because the airport is located in a hated part of the country? Nigerians deserve every bit of what happens to them. So what if the world know we are poor? So, what is the news there? Nigerians have been crossing the desert to do prostitution in Libya and Tunisia. If Nigeria were not poor, will her citizens be there? How many Libyan girls do you see on the streets of Lagos or Maiduguri doing prostitution? Despite their country being war torn? Nigerians deserve Nigeria. until we come together to do the right thing and kick out these old rogues ruling and impoverishing us. |
Truth is that Abakaliki people NOT EBONYI have always HATED Anambra people. (I said Abakaliki NOT EBONYI, because AFIKPO people are decent people). Abakaliki people have always been hostile to any agba-enu person in their area. Yet they have filled Nnewi and Onitsha to the brim. |

The first picture is Owerri. The second picture is Benin city Please tell me the difference in soil color? I would have posted Abuja too so you see for yourself that LANDSCAPING is the key not blaming the dirt earth for our laziness not to landscape. In Africa we love to blame the gods or the weather for even things that are our fault. I have see farmers who planted their crops next to the river Niger blaming the rains for poor harvest! When they could easily dig a gutter to allow the river water irrigate their farm. We should learn to plant trees, flowers and grass to cover the bare earth and stop blaming God for making the earth brown or red instead of white.
|
Xander85:I'm truly tired of this ignorance of our people fixated on soil color. Unless we plant GRASSS and have a habit of sweeping roads, every Nigerian city will continue to look like SH*T. The whole of Southeastern USA, from Georgia to Alabama, Louisiana, South Carolina, Mississippi etc have red soil. So why does Tecno go there to shoot videos? Because they sweep their streets and plans GRASS! Please stop this embarrassing talk of blaming soil color for the neglect of our cities. Just plant tress, grass and flowers, then you will achieve what southeastern USA achieved with exactly the same type of soil and exactly the same color as in Enugu,

TundeBricklayer:The 33 artillery army barracks in Onitsha needs to be relocated to somewhere at Nteje to be able to respond to emergencies in Onitsha or Awka. Then use the ares that is the 33 artillery brigade in Onitsha for a university. |
Don't you know Prof Humphrey Nwosu is Igbo? Buhari does not see anything good in any Igbo man. Even if he is Prof Humphrey Nwosu or tried to defend the integrity of the peoples' votes under threat of losing his life in the hands of a dictator. |
Perhaps this design resembles the house in question more. Either way, a combination of dark and lighter shades of colors gives a touch of class than paint everything just one color. Oga Spyder, Your buildings must be better than those building built by poorly educated Onitsha local contractors. Else all the effort you went to school for to produce a more classy product would have been for nothing. Painting is everything because everyone can pour concrete.
|
spyder880:Painting just one color in a building gives it a dull appearance no matter how bright the color chosen. Just like the fence looks breat when the colors are alternated with dark brown for the fence pillara and light brown for the wall. It is always better to fina a way to alternate colors, even if it's just the balcony or window hood if they exist in the house.

Yyeske:The only reason i did not reply the slowpoke called Chino was that he simply wanted to introduce e-war into this thread. He isn't Igbo, he is one of those lizards hovering around Igbo threads to help create hatred among Igbos. I didn't want to insult Anam people simple because that lizard called Chino claims to be from there. I beg the sane people in this thread to exercise restraint. let us collectively put the devil called Chino to shame. Let us stop quoting him. No matter what he does to connive and bring division among us using his monikers, let us shame him by simply ignoring him. |
[s] Call07034780891:Look at the igala idiot from Anam also claiming to be from Anambra? What do you have in your area or what have your people contributed to the development of the state? Ndi anedo kwo okwu, umu nkita esoro kwo. Ndi ala! |
Hopefully, we pay attention to our environment and neighborhoods through using planting of trees to make them conducive for life. Foreigners will seek visa to live in Onitsha and People will begin to appreciate Nigeria as a livable space in this world. It is not too difficult to achieve in Onitsha and other Anambra cities. We just need to have the will to do it and stop pretending to ourselves.
|
One of the ways you know someone isn't from Anambra is the vehement manner they try to block any progressive idea to improve the state. Any true Anambrarian will understand that we have achieved a lot considering the oppression face in Nigeria, yet we still have A LOT MORE to do. Most importantly, we must change the narrative of Anambra as a mere traders town to a place where foreign expatriates prefer to live and work in Nigeria. That is why folks are saying we have to make our cities more conducive and beautiful. We must figure out a way to solve water problems through drilling neighborhood boreholes to supply an area, solve electricity through building small neighborhood power plants funded by landlords and homeowners and revolutionize solar panel use and waste management. Above all, we must beautify our cities to international standards. Our biggest city is Onitsha. It does not matter what street you decide to look at. Our people have practically stopped planting trees and flowers especially in high density areas where most of the population live. That is the crux of the matter. Not a few duplexes of the super rich at GRA.

TayserMahiri:I love when Kenyans mimic Nigerian accent. it gives it another special twist ! I wish Naija can partner more with Kenya. It is a hugely talented African country and we share the same types of proud people who are eager to excel. |
Xander85:I am truly hoping that an environmental law is passed in Anambra that mandates every house to at least plant a tree somewhere in front of the house. Houses that have electricity wires passing in front can plant flowers instead of trees. If a little space is opened on all those concrete slabs just for one tree per house, the entire city will become green and habitable again. In the same law, it should be an offence to cut down trees anywhere in the state without approval. Part of the reason many people think Onitsha isn't habitable is how the entire place has been scrapped of trees and vegetation. I remember my elementary school days at Premier primary school Onitsha. We walked to school everyday. Yet the entire way was lined with trees from Ojedi road to all the streets we walked to get home. Such that at 2 pm when school was over, we walked under the shade of trees until we got home. Today, a typical street in Onitsha does not even have a single tree. We are yet to know the impact of such harsh environmental degradation on kids and people's health. But i'm sure there will be some consequence about the total eradication of plants and trees from the entire city. |
AmericanQuarter:The only thing i am pleading with state and local government officials is that the should encourage these types of neighborhoods to plant at least one tree per building. Our people probably don't know that trees purify the air we breathe by producing oxygen and taking away carbondioxide. Apart fro providing shade and make the place look habitable, there are real health benefits for planting trees. |
AmericanQuarter:If we have very courageous leaders as Stella Odua in Igboland, we would have been emancipated. I always remember the Enugu Intl. airport project that she championed even when all yorubas in the ministry plotted all sorts of booby traps to derail her and the project. They even got GEJ to stop backing her and she continued fearlessly. In the end, they got a carefully planned purchase of BMW for the ministry and buried it in the heap of papers the minister had to approved. Then started pressuring her to sign the heaps of approval document knowing she won't have time to look into the details of the BMW deal. GEJ messed up big time when he removed her for that framed set up which was neither a car for her own personal use, nor did she benefit in any way from the transaction. I love you STELLA ODUA!!! , |
foolbuster:Nigerian youths will always prefer expired old men who had failed to use Nigeria's wealth to advance the country. Then we complain about hardship when they destroy the economy. Buhari was a disaster everyone knew was not necessary for the country to experience again. Yet, we brought him from retirement to inflict hell on us. |
^^^^^ Again, i will leave this lunatic to rant endlessly. Just imagine a lunatic thinks i care if he thinks i am Chino or not? Mehn, wonders shall never end. Why do you care if i'm from Anambra or not? Afterall, you want it to have the Iranian hospital which you call "bad" there instead of your Enugu. Whatever makes nincompoops like you think Anambra and Enugu are different still baffles me. All i tell you is that not all muslims are evil. You cannot live in this world and decide you will not do business with a country because they are majority muslim. You don't need to wonder if I'm chino or not. Just scroll back my posts. But you are too intellectually lazy to do that. Instead you believe in conjectures and silly accusations. I don't need you to validate me. |
^^^^^^^^^^ Responding to you will amount to a waste of time. So if the hospital is in Anambra, Enugu is safe from your so called Jihadist because they won't know how to get to Enugu from Anambra abi? This is why i say having fish brain is the problem not the computer used in typing. Just to burst your blatant misinformation. Eastern European countries didn't send troops to the middle east. Therefore were not target of ISIS. EU has free movement of people. Therefore, if ISIS is in Germany and want to go to Poland, they can do so with ease. ISIS isn't blowing things in Nigeria not because Nigeria is more secure than France, Nigeria isn't their enemy because we didn't send troops to the gulf. Again, i must tell you that not every muslim is bad and not every Islamic country is on a religious crusade. This reminds me of the feeling most Africans have about Nigerians that every single Nigerian is a fraudster out to cheat them. it may be true for some Nigerians, but majority of Nigerians are decent hardworking people. |
Buhari is a traitor. Trust him at your peril
|
Buhari is a Judas. Always killing those who trusted him enough to give him power. See what he did to Shagari for appointing him into cabinet.
|
He is listening like he was part of the poor President's team. He was probably thinking how he would be the President in the next few weeks after toppling President Shagari.

Cjrane2:GBAM! I always tell out people to take this christian vs. muslim country easy. This is how we disasterously thought Britain will support Biafra as a christian country rather than Arewa muslim republic. So what happened? We should have learned how the world operates by now is by economic advantage and not by religion. The same western countries we are "hoping" on becuase you think they are "Christian" countries are busy taking investment from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iran. yet, you won't take because of religion that westerners who don't even like you at all brought to you? Many Igbo youths are in Saudi Arabia, Iran, UAE hustling. You think the number thing they think is that this is an Islamic country? These western countries see themselves as a "democracy" and not a christian country as many African erroneously think. When it comes to dealing with foreigners, They worry more about skin color than religion. They would deport you from their country because of your black skin before they would tough an Egyptian or Iranian because they look more acceptable than blacks. Yet, it is Africans killing themselves all the time for oyinbo thinking religion will save them. ----Too bad. If Saudi Arabia or Iran wants to build a world class hospital in Enugu with advanced diagnostic technology and treatment for cancer, advanced surgeries, the Enugu state government should better grab it. It will help solidify Enugu as a medical destination in the West African subregion. If Enugu does not want it, i will advice my own Anambra to go after these investors and give them land in Awka to build this hospital to treat our people and improve standard of healthcare. |
Xander85:EXACTLY! |
The border communities in Anambra state are the new killing grounds for the Fulani herdsmen. Now the tie up women in their farm, rape them before butchering them like animals. This is exactly why the IGP wanted to disarm Anambra people because he knew their plot to invade the state was close. it has finally started. The youths in all these villages should simply defend themselves. The is a war of elimination going on secretly by those piloting these wars against us from Abuja. The time to STOP buying beef and instead eat chicken and fish is now. Also, youths whose farms are destroyed by cows should slaughter the animal responsible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgKTPtvsZGo |
