My prediction about nigeria going the way of India, poverty wise have been validated by a newstory on today's vanguard newspaper. I thought it was a few years away from happening but today's poverty index report indicated that it has happened already. From now until DRASTIC changes are made, nigeria will forever be known as the POVERTY CAPITAL OF THE WORLD, having over taken India today.
I knew it was coming. A visit to India and nigeria eerily show similar patterns and behaviors. Even though India is scientifically and technologically ahead, it's still a country where 300 million people are shiiting on top of 1 billion people. There is one unmistaken similarity that is obvious if one visits both countries, KEKE NAPEP, popularly known in India as rickshaw. Both countries are the KEKE NAPEP capital of the world. KEKE NAPEP and OKADA is the first obvious sign of a POVERTY INFESTED place. That is why I have warned the south east to do away with KEKE and OKADA civilisation, which is easy to do because we have an indegenious car manufacturing company in igboland. But noooooooo, while some governors like Okorocha is doing away with KEKE, obiano and co are trying to entrench it. I have a lot more predictions. In no distant time, most of them will be coming through.

It's so annoying that something as basic yet as important as trees are proving to be so hard for our gov'ts and people to plant in their neighbourhoods!

Though i think the responsibility for doing the actual planting should be that of the local gov'ts or relevant ministry concerned. This is in order to give it a well spaced-out and uniform look. If every and anyone goes out with shovel to plant trees in front of their houses or block of flats, it would look unplanned and irregular.

Looking at those pics of Senator Oduas' good works in Atani, i hope peeps can now begin to appreciate just how easy it is to beautify Onitsha and turn it into the best city in Nigeria.....if only attention is paid to detail, and acceptable minimum standards are kept when delivering infrastructure in the city! Open gutters and absence of sidewalks for instance...we should have passed that stage by now for crying out loud!

While you are justified to think how you are thinking, it is wrong to deny doing business with countries of the world just because of the predominant religion of the countries.

Infact, if this had been USA or Britain which are christian countries, you might have felt comfortable. Yet these are the countries that HATE black people and may infact habour an agenda to secretly spread a germ through that hospital to kill off your villages. Yet, you are concerned about the Iran because it's an Islamic country. Trust me, i used to think like you. But western countries are indeed more dangerous than these Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iran you fear so much because of religion.
