Okorocha believed none of them was befitting and made a move to build a completely new IMSU but he was fought down and Orlu people refused to back him with full might. Here is a glimpse of IMSU now though not one of the best but far better than he met it in 2011. As for you Chino you can see the Law faculty is no longer what you've been recycling.

I don't get you. I have never been involved in what you just insinuated. This thread is not about trying to prove that Imo is Dubai but just to showcase progress being made and point out one or two neglected areas that need attention. Check the pictures and tell me if they are Owerri. Only that Umuguma Road is Owerri and I admitted. The rest are either Onitsha or Aba.

Talking about defence I can't waste my time on that as I am not a Government official. I just don't like misrepresentation of facts either from jealousy or bitterness from political defeat.

List of obvious lies people with common sense want us to waste our time on

1 That Imo State Government bought a tree with 600million which originated from Ihedioha and published by some media houses without verification.

2 That Imo Government was owing 11months salary. Imo is not a State you can owe like that

3 That Okorocha signed abortion law when it was a different issue signed by Achike Udenwa years before Okorocha became Governor.

4 That the 27 hospitals are for organ trading therefore people should reject them. That is funny.

5 That Okorocha is paying 2million Naira to every Imo indigene that converts to Islam

6 That Okorocha opened a gay club in Owerri.

7 That Okorocha abscounded because of EFCC

8 That there is no good road in Imo State

9 That Owerri is dirty. They take pictures on sanitation day to deceive themselves.

10 That there is no free education

11 That the hundreds of schools built by Okoricha do not exist.

12 That Okorocha is a Northerner

13 That Okorocha betrayed Igbos

14 That Okorocha killed Biafran agitators

15 That Okorocha is preventing Nnamdi Kanu from being released

None of these 15 accusations is real and we all know. Like I wrote earlier my interest is that I dislike falsehood and misrepresentation of facts.

Not necessarily about Mr Okorocha but Imo State and the truth. After all said and done we cannot deny how developed Owerri has come to be and is the destination of choice in the Southeast.

Members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly have taken their protest over the armed men of the Department of State Services (DSS) Friday, March 4, 2016, invasion of the House of Assembly complex and subsequent abduction of four of the assembly members, calling on the international community to intervene and save democracy in Nigeria from imminent collapse. 

Carrying placards with various inscriptions; the lawmakers said;


“We want to state here categorically that no amount of intimidation, harassment and oppression will make us impeach our leader and benefactor, Governor Ayodele Fayose. The DSS should therefore know that the 2006 theory they are working on will not work this time around.”



Some of the inscriptions on the placards read;



“DSS harassment is about 2018, we won’t be cowed,” DSS, face this impunity must stop! This is democracy, not dictatorship,” DSS, don’t destroy our democracy, respect rule of law,”Fayose remains our leader, we won’t impeach him,” “Nigerians need change, not chains,” “Buhari, face economy and security, not opposition,” and “DSS, free Ekiti lawmakers; we are legislators, not criminals.”

The guy does not know what he is saying. Look at the road that leads to the mall. This pix was taken sometime in 2015 when the road was still under construction. It has good drains and the street lights has been fixed and properly marked now in readiness for the mall take off.
