I can't see any sincerity with this government. Its a pity. Would this GCFR for MKO translate into good governance to Nigerians as he too promised us then. What a pity that Kingibe was also honored- for what really? He's simply a disloyal fellow who I think was never in support of MKO but his downfall & that was why he quickly accepted the offer to serve in Abachas cabinet Prof Nwosu deserves this award & not KINGIBE!

Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani Kayode has released a statement on the recent alarm raised by the ex-president, Olusegun Obasanjo, alleging that there was a plot to detain and frame him by the Federal government.

FFK, in a statement made available to PoliticsNGR, alleged that the Presidency had finalized plans to give other opposition leaders the 'Nnamdi Kanu' treatment. Below is his statement in full;

"I have read the disturbing reports about the Buhari administration's plan to frame up, arrest and detain President Olusegun Obasanjo on trumped up and politically-motivated charges.

It has also been brought to my attention that they have threatened his life.

Though I am not surprised because this is nothing new for this government. That is their stock in trade and they have been doing it for the last three years to anyone and everyone that opposes or criticises them.

They forget that we have a divine obligation and patriotic duty to oppose evil and tyranny in the land and nothing will make us shirk that responsibility.

Let it be clearly understood that we will not sit by idly and allow Buhari to continue to threaten, harrass and intimdate all those who oppose him. We are not intimidated and we have no fear. Governments come and go and no matter what he does Buhari will not be there forever.

Taking this matter to a level of threatening the lives and liberty of people like Obasanjo, Danjuma, Babangida, Jonathan and other elder statemen and seeking to destroy key opposition figures for no just cause is dangerous and unacceptable and it will have consequences.

We do not want war in Nigeria: we want peace and the Buhari government should desist from provoking a situation and a series of events that may end up spiralling out of control.

It is almost as if they are begging for war and that is tragic. They may have the full machinery and power of the Federal Government but we have the Living God. Nothing can stop us in our divine mission to stop him and rescue Nigeria.

The truth is that any untoward or irrational course of action will be met with a corresponding and appropiate reaction which may have dire implications for the peace and unity of our nation.

This game must be played within the rules of engagement or else all hell will eventually break lose. Buhari must be warned.

Peace, fair play and justice must be allowed to reign in our nation and those that oppose the President must be treated with the respect, decency and decorum that they deserve.

They are not enemies of the state and prisoners of war but law-abiding and patriotic Nigerians that have no faith in him and that wish to rescue Nigeria from his tyranny. There is no crime in that and they do not deserve to be killed or to be locked up for it".

It is true that no one can be absolutely loyal, as other factors sometimes play their roles but disloyalty can be curtailed seriously when in relationship

1) She disappears during festive periods: If you are dating a Nigerian babe and she is fond of disappearing during festive times such as Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, Easter, Eide-Kabir, etc, just know she is the disloyal type. She fake herself to be so busy during these times and absolutely make herself unavailable to you! She's probably in the warm hands of another man who she feels can cater for her expensive taste and needs during the celebration season!!! Young man, you have no business with such a lady! I thought festive seasons were meant to be enjoyed together with friends and loved ones o:

2) She uses baseless excuses to explain her unavailability: Disloyal ladies hardly spend quality time with you except they stand to gain one material benefit or the other from you! To you, you are in a relationship. To them, it is 'business' as usual! . They always put the blame on rain, too much sunshine, breeze, traffic, friend's wedding, etc, to avoid meeting with you but just tell her to come and collect a large sum of money you promised her and she will happily take the next available cab even if the whole rain in China, Vietnam and Cambodia combined is nothing compared to the rain pouring in the area where she resides!!! . Observe watchfully, bro!

3) She is so familiar with the joints you have taken her to and the regular male visitors there: She would know the prices of the range of drinks they have and the amounts they sell the ranges of foods they have in these places!!! She attracts 'funny' eye contacts and body languages from male folks around often and she sometimes wave at them when you act as if you are not looking! . How did she come to know about these places and what they offer if she hasn't been taken to these places by different men on several occassions?

4) Her phone hardly rings in your presence: Yes! Funny as it sounds, it is true. It is a tactful act that you should be a aware of...'your' girl (everybody's friend) could be the disloyal type. If she switches off her phone, you might suspect so she might put an old sim card that no one calls to disguise as a 'good girl' in your presence. This is an expo...if you notice something like this too often when she visits, try to call her number on your phone and see if it goes. If it doesn't, don't try to bother her on why she is using another sim she didn't tell you about!!! Just know she is the disloyal type! You have an option...you can get up and dust your ass to save yourself further stress!!!

5) She spends your money but you can never see her penny: If she is the type that keeps her 20k to feast on your little 5k, just see her as disloyal! I wonder how some young men spend hugely on ladies who have never bought them a boxers or singlet before! Relationship is give and take. If she gives you sex and nothing more for the financial benefits she gets from you, then she's a pros!!! If not, what's the transaction between a guy and a pros? Money for hand=back for ground . After all, who yansh dor help abeg!

I am shaking a cultural table this morning and it has to do with certain criteria we have been taught to look out for in a woman.
For instance, one of the criteria of a good wife should be that she can cook and clean but looking at the world we live in today that's no longer applicable.
My wife is the General Manager for Sapphire Scents and she's brilliant at what she does. All I usually do is hand her the keys of a new project then I just check on what they do and things run better than I could have done it. She is helping my destiny in a way nobody can.
Imagine if all the attributes I saw in her was cooking and cleaning?! I have heard many men say " I can't eat unless it's my wife that cooks it" that is total, arrant nonsense!
If she can do it all good and well but its not a do or die affair, get a cook and a maid for your wife so she can eat when you eat. The truth is that not all women enjoying cooking but they just try their best because culture has said " a good woman must know how to cook"

Many men could have been wealthier today but they made their wife who would have been the chief strategist or accountant of their business a cook and a house help!
When God said He would give you a helper, He didn't mean a cook or a house help, He meant a destiny helper!
Please don't get me wrong if your wife loves to cook and clean that's great but don't make it the criteria for judging and deciding who she is, these are things that others can do better, find out the area of your life that woman has been assigned to help you and place her in that role!

A chieftain of Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adebanjo says he and other leaders are not impressed by President Muhammadu Buhari’s declaration that June 12 will henceforth replace May 29 as Nigeria’s Democracy Day in honour of the late Chief Moshood Abiola.

He also stated that they were also not excited about the conferment of the award of Grand Commander of the Federal Republic, GCFR, on the late businessman.

The elder statesman said this in a chat with Punch.

He said: “But if he (Buhari) has now done it because the presidential election is coming, well, he cannot bamboozle anybody with that. What we are saying is that if he wants to honour the memory of Abiola and June 12, he should implement what June 12 stands for, which is good governance and democracy.

It is not about people being killed right, left and centre and pretending that you don’t know what is happening.

“It is not people being killed every day and after three months, you now wake up and say you are beefing up security. People have been complaining about the awkwardness of the lopsided appointments of heads of security agencies since you came into office, but it was not until now that the vice president (Prof. Yemi Osinbajo) said, “Oh yes, we are going to review it” – because election is approaching.

“We are no fools in this country. He should know that many of us have not got cattle brain, we are well educated and we know what we want. Nobody can come and bamboozle us because elections are coming. It is just like he said in 2015 that he was a born-again democrat. Now, he has shown us that he is a dictator. We are not moved by it. It is a welcome idea and yes, it is a thing that ought to have been done. But that he is now doing it because elections are coming, I am not excited by that at all.”

[color=Blue]20W-50 engine oil is no good for modern engines, regardless of the mileage. It is too thick, and flow to sensitive areas like multivalve cylinders, VVT / VANOS and any other timing adjusters that rely on instant oil pressure will be impeded.

Sludge.
Damaged timing chain tensioners.
Seized timing adjusters / variators.
Poor gas mileage.
Excessive engine wear.
Premature oil pump failure.
Premature turbo bearing failure.
Clogged PCV systems.

These are just some of the results of using 20W-50 engine oil in a modern engine, which has the viscosity of honey or tar.

Some are citing Nigeria's climate as a reason to run 20W-50 in a 2015 Toyota Camry. Rubbish! World climates are taken into account when engines are designed. What is so special about Nigeria? Texas, Arizona, Nevada are hotter than Nigeria will ever be, so is Dubai and tons of other countries. Run the correct oil for your engine, and stop assuming your Kazeem knows better than the engine manufacturers.

My old Audi S2 I sold with 543,000 miles on the odometer. When it was new and zero miles, the specified engine oil was 5W-30 or 10W-40. At 543,000 miles, the oil spec remained the same, I still used 5W-30.

Those saying their engines "knocked" after using the correct oil, that's nonsense. An engine that is on its last legs, with so much play in the crank main bearings, conrod bearings will run on any old rubbish.

Some unscrupulous dealers and mechanics will actually melt thick grease and fill the engine with the resultant heavy oil, to quieten a rattling and knocking engine, just to sell the car to an unsuspecting buyer. Of course this engine is dead, the moment you drain and replace the oil, it's the end. The destruction is nothing to do with using the correct engine, this was an engine that was already sounding like a bulldozer's diesel engine, that had the symptoms of crank and conrod Bering failure masked by introducing a thicker oil, which would eventually destroy even a healthy engine.

The average Nigerian prefers to accept 20W-50 oil as good for their engines, though deep down, some are aware it's wrong. It's easier to accept the cheaper rubbish than to shell out good money for the correct synthetic oil. These users are also inherently lazy, and couldn't really be bothered to search for the right oil, or import it if they can't find it locally or nationally. [/color]
