lhordspy: "For this ongoing political expedition, my Igbo people have suffered the consequences of Sociopolitical Insularity. Confused by mediocre and cry, babies. Emergency Politicos. Whose ticket out of the burden of inferiority and underachievement is ethnocentric preachments.”
Very concise and precise. The most plain truth i have seen all my life. This man will be the president of this Great country one day. A nationalism and a visionary man.
But i kept wondering why his peole are so addicted to failure. Always on the losing side, everytime... I just dont understand anymore. It is baffling. Very unfortunate.
They always find a way to always be on the other side of a team cruising to victory. They always find a way to antagonise an ambition clearly and obviously bound to be sucessful.
Politics are not played along emotional lines or past grievances. It is by looking forward to new alliance, friendship, support and most importantly by working to eradicate the tribal sentimentalism among igbo people and marginalisation among Nigerians towards the igbos.
But here. We have the igbos doing same thing all over again. Taking over again as the political Antagonist, foe, opposition, enemy against a political team whose chances of coming out victorious is at 78% against other political group.
Now my question is: Why does the igbos love to lose, always?
It is not by chance that he is supporting Tinubu. He is far ahead of his people and very cerebral... smart people flock together. He will be part of Tinubu's government. You can begin to see the kind of people Tinubu is attracting... |

Do not call your elders ode because of Tinubu
Lotu, the son of Labolo was the one who led the people from Ilara to Ileke(Lekki) The Lekki-Epe expressway was first built in the 1980s. It was built during the Lateef Jakande's administration. It is the second private toll project in Africa. The road construction project was financed by the African Development Bank Jakande also built jakande estate in lekki, just like his 15 other estate in Lagos According to adebanjo, lot have been said by media to demolish tantrums. But I owe a duty to myself and to put the record straight for posterity about the big lie that Bola Tinubu built my house in Lekki for me.
I, therefore, deny the LIE propagated by Akande How I built my Lekki house Giving details of how he sold some of his properties and took a bank loan to build the Lekki house, he said: “A 4-bedroom duplex with 2 bedroom flat enclosed with 2 undeveloped plots at plot 4, block 14, Nuru Oniwo Street, Aguda Surulere, Lagos State, this is where I was living before moving to Lekki. The house was commissioned in 1972 by Chief Obafemi Awolowo.
A wing of the duplex was once occupied by a staff of the security outfit then known as “special branch” headed then by the late Alhaji M. D. Yussuf who later became Inspector General of Police when General Olusegun Obasanjo was the Head of State. It was later occupied by one of the wives of Chief Pius Akinyelure, who often visited his wife there in the company of Senator Bola Tinubu. “The gate of this property was forced open by Abacha security forces when NADECO was holding a sendoff party for American ambassador Walter Carrington in my house, I took the Federal Government to court for damages and I was awarded #1million naira which has not been paid till today by the Federal Government, Mr Olisa Agbakoba SAN, was my counsel.
“The house was sold to St Baths Anglican Church, Aguda, Surulere.
Two storey building at Odedola Street, Surulere, Lagos State. I bought it through an Estate Agent by name Mr Shiwoniku who has relocated to UK, he has a brother who is a legal practitioner in Abuja.
“The house was sold to a Ghanaian by name Mr Akappo. He is still alive and he lives in one of the flats in the building.
“Four storey building with a warehouse on the ground floor and six flats on top. It was commissioned by Chief Awolowo in 1977.
“I inherited the plot of 45’X100’ from my mother Salamotu Anomo-Adebanjo, who built a bungalow on it.
“She bought the land when I was in primary school in 1940 from one Pa Idowu Onitiri for £20, which she paid by installment of £10, £7, £3. His son Akanbi Onitiri, executed the conveyance for me without extra payment after showing him the purchase receipts from his father, when I was developing it in 1976. Akanbi Onitiri is the father of Sumbo Onitiri, a well-known estate surveyor in Lagos.
“The building was sold to a woman through an estate agent.
I then took a loan from GTBank to complete the house in Lekki where I am living now.
When the interest on the loan became unbearable, I was compelled to sell the undeveloped land given to me by Chief Awolowo in Dide-Olu Estate in Maroko Victoria Island. One Mr. Ade Otusanya a friend of my son Femi Ayo-Adebanjo bought the land.
The contractor who built my Lekki house is Engr. Hakeem Sulaiman, Senior Partner of Messrs HA associates.
The Electrical and Mechanical Contractor is Engr. Tokunbo Oshokoya, Senior Partner of Messrs Oshea Projects.
The Architect is Mr Deji Johnson
The Quantity Surveyor is the late Otunba T. B Adebayo.
The Lekki property, the house in my village, Isanya Ogbo which I built 40 years ago, and 3 Bedroom flat in a townhouse, at Omorinre Street in Lekki, are the properties I have in the whole world.
I hereby authorise the EFCC to verify the above facts.
It is alleged that Chief Bisi Akande’s building at Ila-Orogun, which I understand is more than double in expanse of my house in Lekki and some other properties he has in Lagos and abroad were financed by Bola Tinubu. His house in Ibadan was also alleged to have been built by the contractor that built the secretariat in Oshogbo, when he was the Governor of Osun State.
I hereby challenge Chief Bisi Akande to clear the air by disclosing the source of financing these properties as I have done above.
“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the great philanthropist should also disclose the source of his wealth with which he bankrolled the elections of APC in the Southwest and that of General Muhammad Buhari and his various properties in Lagos. He should also authorize the EFCC to verify such details as I have done above.” Invest your resources wisely... This is a waste of data and time |

ysth: Obi wont win this, Obi wont win that. So which local government will Tinubu win in the south south, south east? Which local government will Atiku win in the south east, south south, or benue? Which local government will kwankwaso win in the entire southern region and middle belt. You people just talk as if elections are won and lost in only south west and north. Obasanjo won twice without south west, Jonathan won without north west, buhari and atiku have been losing with all the votes they could get in the north. So now APC is strong in the south west, PDP srong in some parts of the north, NNPP strong in some parts of the north, and LP strong in south east and south south. Which local governments will any of them win outside their regions of strength? People always bringing up rubbish topic. Make Tinubu come win north make we see, make Atiku come win south make we see, since obi cant win any LGA in other regions. Tinubu will win many local government areas in Imo, Ebonyi, Akwanbom, Cross rivers, Edo, Delta, and rivers states. Don't forget that APC has formidable candidates contesting for various positions in those states. As the campaign starts and elections draw closer, you will begin to see clearly without using your glasses. Obi/LP doesn't have local candidates or even campaign offices in more than 80% of SW. Where will the votes come from? From the sky? |

Let's be wise and shame these evil doers parading as APC. Do we really need to collect anything to know where anybody lives? While the FG is struggling with a national ID card system, we already have residents ID card system in Lagos. We have the data and if we want to stop anybody from voting, we know where to go. |
Politics › Mention A Local Government You Think Obi Can Win In South West by OsunOriginal(op): 10:22am On Nov 08, 2022 |
There is a visible crack within the Afenifere social-cultural group with one faction (the old PDP block of Afenifere) declaring support for Obi while the majority faction (Pa Fasoranti, Olu Falae, SW governors, other bigwigs in the region) is queuing up behind Tinubu. After all said and done, the people of the region are the ones who will deliver the verdict on Feb 25, 2023.
For me, I don't see yet, a local government Obi can win in SW. If he gets 25% of the votes in any Local government in Lagos, it would be an excellent performance in enemy land. In other states in SW, Obi will not get up to 5% in 99% of the local governments.
If you think otherwise, share your projection.
