Soludo you are not the Christian governor of Anambra. You are the Governor of Anambra. Governor of ALL Anambras be they traditionalists, Muslims or Christians. STOP using your office to wage war against other religions. This is wrong. Freedom of religon is sarconsanct and you MUST protect it. Otherwise, you will cursed in this life and in the next. Behave!
When a politician/governor starts talking like a religious leader, EFCC should start beaming their searchlight on him, because, he simply has started cornering and looting the wealth of the state and then trying to appear to the gullible as a very religious governor who would do whatever to protect their religion. He is not talking about improving their life... it's their religion he would use his office to protect.

Tinubu will win the 2023 election with a landslide he has Lagos state treasury as his piggy bank, a grandmaster occultist initiated in the secrets of the infinity and knows how to mobilize thugs and pay the right people to win.

In what decent society will a Tinubu win over an Osibanjo in party primaries when one is complete darkness and the other a semblance of light.

In a decent society Peter Obi, despite his defects is meant to win overwhelmingly given that Nigeria youth population is 70%.

However, the moral decadence of Nigeria has reached an all time high and Bola Tinubu is the right man to front the total decadence and decay of the failed and fantastically corrupt state called Nigeria.
Senseless talk... Tinubu is complete darkness and the semblance of light has been following him with total submission until the light started feeling big and became egoistic.

He will of course win the 5 south east states.he will get 25% in edo, rivers, delta, cross river.he may not get it in akwa ibom but he won't get it in bayelsa.highest he will see in bayelsa is 15%.
Apart from lagos,he won't get it in any other south western state.he can try in ondo or Oyo but I dont see him exceeding 20% there.he won't see 10% in ekiti,Osun and Ogun.
In the north central, he will get in benue, plateau and fct and perhaps nasarawa but won't get it in kwara or niger.I dont see him getting above 20% in kogi..
He will get it narrowly in Kaduna thats if he wins Kaduna south.between Adamawa, taraba and gombe,he should get it in 2 states...
In summary,10 from ss/se,2 from sw,4 from nc,2 from ne,one in nw which is less than 20 states.
Atiku won't get 25% in borno, yobe, zamfara, kano and Kaduna if obi gets 25%. He won't get it in lagos, ekiti,Ogun.he won't make it in anambra,Enugu, ebonyi and IMO.he will fail the test in rivers and edo and maybe crs...

PoliticsJoin Us Here To Discuss The Differences Between Obi And Atiku by OsunOriginal(op): 11:51am On Nov 07, 2022
I have been researching the ideological differences between Obi and Atiku. I haven't seen any grin grin grin grin

1. Both have been PDP members
2. They ran on the same ticket in 2019 and lost
3. Obi recently said there is no ideological difference between him and Atiku
4. Atiku and Obi - both don't have any enviable antecedents
5. Both are surrounded by people of questionable characters - Obi -> Okupe, etc, Atiku -> Malaye, etc
6. Atiku and Obi don't have any sophisticated manifesto - they seem incapable of coming up with one

Obi and Atiku's supporters, share if you have any.

PoliticsThe Demystifcation Of The Fourth Estate By Bola Ahmed Tinubu by OsunOriginal(op): 10:40am On Nov 07, 2022
What we are watching that looks like a play is a gradual demystification of the influence of the fourth estate in our elections. The fourth estate appeared to have come for a war with Tinubu in the coming election. Unfortunately for the fourth estate, Tinubu is smarter. He knew a time like this would come and therefore decided to float his own media houses (TVC, The Nation, etc). So, Tinubu doesn't need the likes of channels, AIT, Arise, etc to get his views out to the people.

The battle line seems to have been drawn. Tinubu is not honoring invitations for interviews from the media houses. He organizes his own town-hall meetings, etc, and honors selected invitations - those that matter shocked shocked shocked shocked. Interestingly, Tinubu's town-all meetings have been more successful than any other ones organized by the so-called media houses.

If Tinubu wins the coming election, it's going to reduce the importance people place on the fourth estate, especially during the election period. I think the fourth estate should rethink its stance and retrace its steps. The fourth estate is expected to be non-partisan but it is obvious this ethic of the profession has been thrown into the winds. Some of the journalists even attend political party meetings and the same persons want to interview the candidates of other parties.

PoliticsRe: History Will Judge Fasoranti For Endorsing Tinubu – MBF by OsunOriginal: 8:49am On Nov 06, 2022
dominic17:
The Middle Belt Forum has slammed a leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, for endorsing the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, saying that history will judge him (Fasoranti) for his action.

Crisis rocked Afenifere when the group reportedly declared its support for Tinubu during the former Lagos State governor visit to leaders of the group in Akure, Ondo State.

nigerianewspapersonline.netNov 6, 2022 3:26 AM

Fasoranti and other Afenifere chiefs were also said to have prayed for the APC presidential candidate.

The endorsement was, however, dismissed by the acting leader of the socio-cultural group, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, who maintained that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, remained Afenifere’s choice, adding that Fasoranti had no constitutional authority to act as the leader of the organisation.

But the President of the Middle Belt Forum, Pogu Bitrus, said in an interview with our an unfortunate development because we believe leaders of the socio-cultural groups are people who have gone beyond the levels of parochial ethnic and whatever consideration, looking at things passionately at the national level.

Pa Fasoranti, with his age and everything, we respect him. We know that he left that office about two years or so ago and Pa Adebanjo is the leader. His coming back to make such an issue out of the context of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is an unfortunate development and I think history will judge him, not because we are of different views.

That is not the reason; the reason is we believe that at a stage in life, one goes beyond some level of being parochial, but act as a statesman. I want him to reconsider his stance.

Bitrus, who said the MBF did not see Fasorantiâ endorsement of Tinubu as an attempt by politicians to cause confusion within Afenifere and divide it, urged him (Fasoranti) to consider whether his action was in the best interest of Nigeria.

Asked whether the Middle Belt Forum was open to engaging with presidential candidates, he said, “We have already declared our stand. Right before the primaries, we said we would not support a northern candidate because we believe it is the turn of the South. While we were open to all southern candidates, Bola Ahmed Tinubu did what we believe we cannot accept.

“In Nigeria, where Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, militia and many other insurgent groups are of Islamic extraction, fielding a Muslim-Muslim ticket is not acceptable; so, as far as we are concerned, he (Tinubu) is out of the consideration because we have to look at things that will benefit the nation, not just considering things based on sentiment.â€

However, the Pan Niger Delta Forum said it had not endorsed any presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections.

PANDEF said although it met with Peter Obi on August 23 in Lagos, it made it clear that it would engage with other southern presidential candidates

The spokesperson for the group, Ken Robinson, said, “There has been no consensus on Peter Obi. PANDEF has not endorsed any presidential candidate. PANDEF agreed that the next president should come from southern Nigeria.

As was communicated in the last extraordinary meeting that was held on the October 20, we made it clear that we were open to engaging with all presidential candidates from southern Nigeria; it is after those engagements that PANDEF will communicate its decision on who to support.

Our position at the meeting of the Southern and Middle Belt Forum which was held on June 25 was and remains that we shall engage with all southern presidential candidates.

Let me also add that before the primaries, the Southern and Middle Belt Forum, based on the issues of fairness, justice, fairness, and equity, and inclusiveness, had added a caveat to our demand for power shift to southern Nigeria by saying preferably to the South-East and that did not indicate any presidential candidate at the time.

iwaeda:
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has expressed concern over the possibility of Nigeria 2023 general election, saying that despite the closeness of the date, God has not revealed to him whether there would be an election or not.

ADVERTISING

Speaking during the Redeemed Christian Church of God 2022 Holy Ghost Service, Adeboye said the situation of Nigeria has become worse to the extent that the country’s currency no longer worth the paper it’s printed on.

He admonished Nigerians to learn to laugh in other not do develop hypertension as things seems to be getting funnier and funnier every day in the country. “We need to ask God for mercy because what’s going on in our country, it doesn’t even make sense anymore.

“Our Naira now is not even worth the paper it is printed on. While people are hungry, trying to find enough money to buy bread to eat our Moses are thinking of making the Naira more beautiful that is, even if it can’t buy bread, at least it will look beautiful.

“God must be merciful unto us. We will have to hold on to Him and say, ‘Please help.’ Do you know that up till now, and this is November, Daddy hasn’t told me yet that there’s going to be an election next year.

“We continue of course as if there’s going to be; I am saying that, Adeboye, I am not talking of other people, God has not told me yet. He may tell me tomorrow, I don’t know; but as of this moment that I am sitting before you, He hasn’t told me whether or not there will be an election next year.

“Of course as usual, anybody who comes to me and he says, “pray for me,” I will pray for them. That’s my duty but it is up to God to answer. I am not trying to frighten you; I am not telling you that I know something secret that you don’t know; I am not a prophet I am just a pastor; but I am your Pastor. We need to pray. So I expect to see all of you on Friday the 2nd of December; come ready to pray.

Speaking on the upcoming prayer for Nigeria from November 26th to December 2nd, Adeboye said that during those days of fasting, there will be no ceremonies. “we will gather before 6pm. At 6pm on the dot, we will begin to pray. We just want to pray for one solid hour 6pm to 7pm.”

Am just curious, is the hate real or just politics.

I mean, who would hate a man like that who has shown clearly that he is different from our normal politicians.

I don't quite understand, is it cause he's Ibo? I remember quite well during Okonjo Iweala's battle to become the DG of WTO, some Nigerians even supported blocking her from the job cause her tribe, is the same thing playing out with Peter Obi??

Ok, but politics aside, who will hate men like the Former Emir of Kano Sanusi or Akinwumi Adesina for their passion to see a New Nigeria, why the hate for a man that have proved himself to be worthy to help us.

Let's relate guys, we are the masses right? We have felt the impact of the dark cloud covering the nation for a long time, How is it difficult to choose from the Atiku, Tinubu and Obi.

Now am not saying any of them is perfect but guys, we are choosing between men bent on the old ways and a man who wants to charter a new path.

For the first time, we have a very learned, vast travelled, very exposed intellect vying for presidency, for the first time , we have a man very close to the masses and not some Kings lording over us.

I mean, we know this is not pretense, a clear record of his past is there, with cutting cost of governance, fixing his state during his tenure to saving extras for the next government.

How do we even argue, debate or compare. It's a bit strange for me don't know sbout you. If there was Osinbajo on the ballot and El rufai, it would have made a huge difference.

Again I ask , are we not the masseshuh Can anyone swear a life and death oath that this man is not better than those old crooks, why the hate then??

We have seen the effect of a Buhari, do you think you reading this will escape the effect of Atiku or Buhari? Even if you live abroad, you have families here and you will likely come back to visit.

Britain after playing foul politics with the just gone prime minister felt the negative imapct and quickly retraced their path by choosing a 42 year old, Indian to govern them based on competence.

In Nigeria, we pray every minute for Nigeria to change yet God sends a Saviour and what do you do, hate him.

Rishi Sunak is God's sent to Britain as Peter Obi is your Saviour, if you like don't accept him and keep praying for God to come down himself to help.

For the first time , we have all the political elites on one side INCLUDING POLITICAL ELITES FROM HIS TRIBE and have a Peter Obi leading the masses on the other side, PLEASE, is this not the best opportunity to drown all these corrupt emperors politicallyhuh?

Nobody sees Peter Obi family in the election ever his wife is minding her business cause she knows just like in Anambra , she's not getting an office of first lady but just look at Tinubu and Atiku, their wives and their children.

People of Nigeria wake up from slumber, don't know if this is juju, hailing oppressors and fighting saviours, Nawoooooo

Again I ask , why do you hate this man??
Simply put, he is incompetent. The few routing for him are doing so for nothing other than primordial sentiments

PoliticsTinubu Is Showing The Kind Of Madness Nigeria Needs To Transform by OsunOriginal(op): 10:15am On Nov 05, 2022
Tinubu shuns IPOB, fixes campaigns in Anambra, Imo for Mondays

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu has fixed his campaign rallies in Anambra State and Imo State on Mondays. The APC and Tinubu’s decision to hold their presidential campaigns on Mondays contradicts the sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the Southeast region.

The timetable released by the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) shows that Mr Tinubu will hold a campaign rally and a stakeholders’ engagement in Imo State on Monday, 21 November. On Monday, 30 January, the campaign train will move to Anambra, the home state of Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate.

Recall IPOB declared the sit-at-home order in August 2021 to protest and demand the release of their leader Nnamdi Kanu, who is standing trial on treason and terrorism charges by the Nigerian government.

Violators of the sit-at-home order have been victims of violence and killings by gunmen in southeast states on Mondays. Vehicular movements and commercial activities are on halt in compliance with IPOB’s order. In early October, IPOB said it has no plans to disrupt the 2023 election and accused the government of masterminding insecurity in the Southeast zone. Days later, an appeal court acquitted Kanu of all charges against him but the government said it will “consider all available options open to us on the judgment.”
This is the kind of unconventional thinking that can change and improve our narratives as a country. Whoever is not bold enough to confront groups, cabals, etc working against the interests of the country can't make any impact on our national life. Tinubu confronted and defeated the Aso rock cabal in the APC - nothing happened and nothing will happen. From what I am seeing, he will take the war to all those who are holding us back democratically.

What stops the followers from holding the leaders accountable? What stops you and I, if we are sure the leaders are the problem, from shutting down the country and chasing them out? Don't say the north or south won't join protests - you don't need everybody to be there. Most of the protests that changed governments only happened in key cities like Lagos, Cairo, Paris, etc. You don't need everybody.

So, I still believe there is a serious issue with followership in Nigeria.
You can imagine some unguided youths shouting Obi for nothing other than primordial sentiments (tribe and religion). The Obi that left no enviable track record in Anambra as a governor and an unprincipled man who jumps from party to party just to seek power.
