So much has been said about Afenifere and the different factions within the group. One of the factions, which usually aligns with the opposition, declared support for Obi while the progressive faction, which traditionally aligns with the popular view among the Yorubas, is on the side of Tinubu. That said, the media seems to be giving Afenifere too much relevance and making it look like the group actually determines the direction the majority in Yorubaland goes. I haven't seen any time in recent political history when Afenifere actually influenced the voting pattern of the Yorubas. All I see are a few people trying to seek relevance and make it appears as if their view has a place in the mind of Yorubas.

Afenifere doesn't and won't, even in the nearest future, determine how the Yorubas vote. We're too sophisticated for that to happen. In the coming election, the Yorubas are united and will vote massively across the length and breadth of our land for Tinubu. Even if Afenifere has three factions, it won't change the resolve of the Yoruba people to vote massively in the direction of Tinubu.

Ekweremadu is not just a serving Senator but a three time Deputy Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Failure of the Buhari led FG to lift a finger to try to diplomatically resolve the Ekweremadu case is condemnable, in bad faith, and bad for the image and dignity of the country Nigeria.

And it is not like Ekweremadu committed any offence that is out of this world. He wrote to the the British High Commission and clearly communicated the purpose of his visit to the UK. This is just a loving parent trying to work out a solution to his daughter's illness.

Because Yorubas have refused to support the scam called Obi, they're unfit for national politics? How many igbos elders are supporting Obi? How many igbo governors have declared support for mr pandora's ambition? The last I checked, even traditional rulers in Anambra are all queuing up behind their slave master (Atiku). From Imo to Ebonyi, the governors are for Tinubu and will ensure he wins those states. Yorubas can't and won't support a product that has been rejected at home.

And when it comes to national politics, who knows it better than us? It was an endorsement galore for Tinubu when he visited the core north last weekend. This weekend, it was a reaffirmation of our support for our son in SW. Coming weekends, it would be NC, SS, and SE.

While a huge sum might have been paid for this empty endorsement, the acceptability of Obi in SW hasn't gone beyond the 4x4 room where the said endorsement was pronounced.

Today, the real Afenifere has come out to endorse their real candidate. It was carnival-like in Akure where Bola Ahmed Tinubu was received by a large number of prominent Afenifere leaders including Chief Olu Falae. Tinubu presented his 80-page manifesto to the group and he was prayed for by Pa Fasoranti, the leader of Afenifere.
