Agbegbaorogboye: I don't understand what your empty bragging is about. Did APC win Kano guber in 2019? Capital NO. Same way y'all bragged about Osun in 2018 and it has come to bite you in the butt in 2022. The fact remains there's a very high chance APC will lose Kano next year.
As for Buhari's votes, the simple question is if they are transferrable especially in Kano. Results from Kano has always proven otherwise. He won Kano in 2011 presidential while his party (CPC) did not even win any seat in the Senate or guber. I just gave you an example of 2019 also. Mind you, Kwankwaso's group actually voted for Buhari in 2019 and not Atiku. That was one of Atiku's main grouse with Kwankwaso then. So it's only a neophyte that will think APC will repeat Buhari's margin in Kano if they even manage to win.
This happened in Zamfara 2 days ago... It will happen in all other northern states. What would make a Buhari's supporter vote for Atiku against Buhari's party? Buhari is still the leader of the APC and will be leading the APC campaign across the north.
jumper524: exactly bro. That level of disloyalty is too much. Even Buhari showed gratitude to the people who were there before him and made it possible for him. Osibanjo with zero legacy to the point of loosing his pooling booth is trying to convince us he can do better. Let be real with ourselves for once. That's totally out of it. Even to show support to asiwaju he's refused. Well to be honest. Asiwaju handled it better.
That's what it takes to be a good leader. A great leader keeps his eyes on the big picture, not petty issues. Who is Osibanjo in reality when it comes to politics? A nonentity - so why should Tinubu even bother himself about a political neophyte who can't deliver his polling unit on election day?
Agbegbaorogboye: Maybe you were still in secondary School then. PDP won but inec declared that the margin of victory was less than cancelled votes and ordered a rerun. It was the rerun that Ganduje won through high level rigging. The case was tossed out on technical grounds at SC.
I just left kindergarten... Ode The last I checked Kwakwanso was in the PDP at the time and still, they couldn't upstage the APC. Is it now that the PDP has broken into the old PDP and NNPP that the APC would lose?
I added the presidential election results in Kano to my previous response to you. PDP only got 21% of the vote in Kano with Buhari getting 78%. Again, what has changed?
00FFT00: PDP and APC will not get 25% for presidential polls anywhere in the Southeast. Umahi and Uzodinma are lined up for a grand political disgrace.
And how does that, in any way, change the outcome of the national election?
jumper524: I lost respect for osibanjo when he contested the ticket against tinubu.
The lecturer has forgotten how he became the AG of Lagos state and VP of Nigeria. The same man who refuses to show appreciation to his benefactor on earth is on the pulpit talking about God/Lord/Jesus... He has a few more months to go and he won't feature again in our national political discussions.
Stop under rating the ruling party in Kano. If Kwakwanso is that popular, his candidate should be the one ruling in the state today. There is no way NNPP can get 45% and APC 25%. It would be the other way round.
CitynewsNG: Osinbajo apologized to Tinubu at Akeredolu's mother Burial in Owo town --- Video footage of a funny and controversial scene had been trending online following the Vice President's speech at Ondo State Governor mother's Burial, where Prof Yemi Osinbajo apologized for missing out APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu from the list of protocols he greeted and acknowledged while about making his speech.
The V. P said in the one and half minutes video that ;
"Before I go on, I have made a very big error, I have left out the presidential candidate of our great party the APC Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Emilokan.
He continued," Asiwaju Bola I'm simply sorry, you are sitting right to me, not just sitting right to me but I'm looking at him. But I honour you and welcome you to this event..."
This video has been generating ripples with people asking if this is intentional or an indeed an error or the VP is still wallowing in the fate of his presidential bid loss to his former boss.
Two days ago, the NNPP in Zamfara state collapsed its structure into the APC. The bigwigs in the NNPP attended the event and one by one, they threw away their red caps and replaced it with the Asiwaju's cap. It was fun and the echos of the event reached every corner of Nigeria including Kano.
Lionnation: As northern leaders are begging kwankwaso to step down for Atiku, so they can foist atikulootwer on us, where as it is the turn of the south to produce the president, therefore iam of the opinion that tinubu should step down for peter obi, obi enjoys more southern and middle belt/north central support than Tinubu
Nobody is begging anybody in the north to support Atiku. If at all anything is happening, it is the APC the NNPC is collapsing its structure into.
Obi knows he can't even come second in this election. The only face-saving thing for him is to drop his ambition and endorse Tinubu (the only pan-Nigerian candidate)
Why is INEC responding to a forged document by Obidents? May Obi and Obidents never happen to this country. It will be like criminals taking over the country
JewsAreSatanic: In saner climes this is blatant corruption and not only a conflict of interests but diversion of public funds to private use.
For idiots celebrating this as a good thing, hope you did not complain when Obi refused to negotiate with Medical practitioners when they went on an 18month long strike. Obi would rather take the state resources and dispose of it as his personal money .
This same Obi refused to conduct local govt elections for 8ys and ran the LGs through his appointed care taker administrators from where LG funds were siphoned into his family ventures under the guise of investments.
Obi also laundered huge sums of money from the state coffers using the Nigerian Stock exchange.
All these investments he claimed to have done on behalf of Anambra state were not managed by a public investment management team as they ought to which should include members of the State Assembly drawn along bipartisan lines, an independently appointed chairperson alongside civil servants. Instead he managed the funds and investments as his personal portfolio.
And fools are using this highly corrupt act as a campaign point?
Much of that investment has lost over 60% of its original value as a result of insider trading, stock flooding to whittle the value of the shares or outright selling of the stock by Obi without consent from Anambra people .
Is this not corruption ?

Peter Obi and Obidients need to explain where and how Peter Obi came about the N250m found in his Lagos office. Where did he get the money from and how did the money find its way into his Apapa office in Lagos.
By ikenna Anyanwu Contrary to speculations that the case of recent recovery of a whooping sum of N250 million in cash in a private office of Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State in Apapa, Lagos by eagle-eyed policemen in Lagos has been rested, indications emerged over the week that Police authorities in Abuja have commenced thorough investigations into the matter.
This is just as untold details of the circumstances that led to the strange discovery and the role played by all the parties involved including the Police were unfolded by reliable police sources at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
Saturday Vanguard gathered that on the said day, which was Sunday, Police authorities in Lagos received information from one of the aides to Governor Peter Obi that a huge sum of money was been conveyed to the Governor’s private company at Aerodrome road in Apapa, Lagos.
Based on this, Lagos State Police Commissioner, Marvel Akpoyibo led some of his officers including the Area Commander in Apapa and they stormed the company.
Police sources said on getting to the scene, they saw the exotic jeeps that transported the money which were arraigned in suit cases inside the premises.
PrinceOfLagos: This is name of Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential flag bearer for 2023 boldly written in the drug charges paper as defendant by the United States government.
Could this be the reason president Buhari completely hands off the 2023 presidential election by telling Nigerians to vote whoever they like in whichever party?
If Tinubu have shame as an old man, he would step down from the presidential race immediately and travel to the united states and clear is already damned name..
CCB also arraigned him in Nigeria. Can we also say he committed the crime he was accused of just because he was arraigned ?
Ode people.
Go and campaign to Nigerians for votes. What you can't get from Nigerians through the ballot, you can't get it from this useless papers you're flaunting.
OEPHIUS: Governors Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and Okezie Ikpeazu of Rivers and Abia states respectively, join Governors Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Samuel Ortom of Enugu and Benue states respectively, at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, ahead of the meeting of the G5 PDP Governors also known as Integrity Governors, at the Government House, Enugu, this evening.
Seun Okinbaloye ended up again de-marketing his candidate (Obi) when he asked Soludo about the investment of the state's funds by Obi. Seun probably had thought Soludo would corroborate the wrong narratives Obi and obidients have been peddling. Alas! Soludo exposed Obi as a liar and an incompetent governor.
Soludo dismissed as preposterous the idea of a leader keeping money in banks when people are dying. He also, for the first time, commented on the investment of the state's funds by Obi. According to him, the investments are worth nothing today.
If Obi is not happy about Soludo's remark, he should blame Seun for forcing Soludo to make a statement on Obi's stewardship in Anambra.
NaijaRoyalty: Following the revisiting of drug baron case on Tinubu by the United States government , Bola Tinubu may be declared wanted over drug and money laundering crimes by the United States government
Yesterday, two major presidential campaign rallies were held in the country. One in Benue by Obi, the LP candidate, and the other in Borno by Atiku, the PDP candidate. The two candidates were on the same ticket in 2019 but decided to part ways for the 2023 elections. Maybe Atiku decided, this time around, to use another candidate, which he thinks will be more marketable to all regions of the country.
Anyway, in Nigeria, we know what a presidential campaign usually looks like and the festivity that goes with it. Looking at the pictures below, you can easily tell which one was actually a presidential campaign and which one looks more like a gathering at a village square for a naming or wedding ceremony organized by the king. Gradually, we're beginning to see what the evening of Feb 25th will look like.
