The SW due to their greed for power have unwittingly sold the North a perfect ace card to use and politically dominate Nigeria for a very long time...by agreeing to the Muslim/Muslim ticket, the South West have now given the North the impetus to dare Nigeria and even float a North/North ticket in the nearest future...after all if we are seeing a time in Nigeria's political history when a Muslim/Muslim ticket is allowed...who's to say the North will not attempt a North/North ticket soon? And who will stop them if they do?

Honestly yorubas are the biggest problems we have in Nigeria, now the indigenous Northern Christians have seen through the dishonesty and duplicity of the yorubas, the South South are now disengaging themselves from yaribas...the few poor Yaribaa Christians are helpless and silent...the entire South and Middle Belt are now cutting off the SW...we're seeing a political dynamic where the only friends of the SW will be the core Northern Muslims against the rest of Nigeria

As the gubernatorial election in Osun draws closer, contestants have been on the road day and night canvassing for votes. We have seen the campaign trains of the APC, PDP, etc. The presidential candidates and national leaders of the parties have also been visiting.

However, some parties have remained largely on social media, preferring to dish out even unverified statistics and numbers from the comfort of their homes and hoping that the social media rhetoric would do the job.

Electioneering is not for the lighthearted. It is for people who really mean business and ready to do what it takes to get their message to the grassroot. This makes me wonder if the likes of Peter Obi are actually in the race or are just noise makers. Otherwise, when will Obi and his social media supporters go to Osun to campaign for their candidate? Won't it be childish to think losing Osun state guber seat doesn't matter?

Please keep quiet. After 8 years of a Northern President Buhari PDP was supposed to zone the ticket to the South but they now threw it open. No, it is the turn of the South and a Christian, so it is Peter Obi's turn.

Whenever it is the turn of the south, the candidate must be a christian? The southern muslims are sub-humans and shouldn't be given the opportunity to be president of Nigeria? The out-going VP is a southerner and a christian. You want the next president from the south to also be a christian and you are here criticizing the PDP (your former party) for giving presidency to another northern muslim. Hehehehehe... The last time I checked, boko haram started during the OBJ time and expanded their operations further when the weak Jona took over. While the fuel price went up in the current PMB administration, availability has not been an issue until lately occasioned by the war in Ukraine. During the OBJ and Jona time, we can still remember what we used to go through every end of year... Hell is another name for it.

And you haven't really addressed my question. What did the Christians benefit more than the Muslims during the time of OBJ and Jona - Christian presidents? What is it that the current VP is doing for the Christians that probably shields the Christians from the common hardship and insecurity the Muslims are facing?

What I'm telling you is simple. Muslims benefit nothing more than the Christians with whatever P/VP combination. We all go to the same market, we buy fuel from the same feeling stations, and our kids attend the same schools. Both muslims and christians get kidnapped with whatever combination. Today we have a muslim/christian president/VP, how has that prevented the christians from insecurity - kidnapping, etc.? How has Buhari being a muslim secure the lives of the muslims who are attacked and kidnapped daily by bandits in the north?

Stop murmuring and speak coherently. In the south, we have states that have Christian gov and Christian deputy gov. Did you hear any noise from the Muslims in the states or elsewhere? Or you think there are no muslims in Edo, Ekiti and Ondo? Why do you always want to disturb the peace for nothing other than church-going without commensurate true piety in your daily dealings?
