Last weekend they were opening parliament and there was a state dinner planned for all guests that was going to cost about 300m. President Magulufi cut the budget to 25m and ordered that the rest be taken to buy hospital beds for Muhimbili. They got 300 beds and
mattresses and 600 bedsheets from that money.

On 23rd Nov 2015 he announced that there will be no official ceremonies for Independence Day on 9th December, the money is to be used for more pressing issues and the day should instead be spent cleaning up our environment.

On Saturday 21st Nov 2015 a group of 50 people were about to set off for a tour of commonwealth countries (don’t know for what) but President Magulufi cut that list down to 4 people, saving government 600m in tickets, accommodation and per diems.

President Magulufi asked how come engineers are given V8s when a pick-up is more suitable for their jobs. No more sitting allowances. How the hell are you paid allowance for a job which you have a monthly salary? That also applies to MP’s.

President Magulufi has literally pressed the reset button; returning Tanzania to default factory settings, because that was the TZ Nyerere left us with.

On the day after he was brought to power, in the morning as State House officials were showing him round he decided to take a walk to ministry of finance, told them to get their act together, asked why some employees weren’t in office (ever since then the traffic jam in mornings has become worse) and ordered TRA to scrap all tax exemptions, everyone must pay taxes especially the big guys.

President Magulufi went to Muhimbili Hospital unannounced and walked through the worst parts that they keep hiding from important visitors. He fired the director, fired the hospital board and ordered that all machines that weren’t working (so that people go to private hospitals owned by some doctors) to be repaired within 2 weeks otherwise he fires even the new director; the machines were repaired in 3 days.

Finally, last week when going to officially open parliament President Magulufi didn’t go by plane, drove the whole 600km from Dar to Dodoma.

How ever me thinks he seems to believe that because people have lived in the UK since they were kids ages 1 to adult they could not be deported. I believe they can, unless on the ground of compassion like you have asserted in your earlier post.

He also keep mentioning NI card as if that's relevant, having NI card is no exemption from deportation, people with full UK driving licence and NI card can be and have been deported.

I subsequently believe you live in the UK.so for that guy to suggest you haven't been to the UK i couldn't comprehend.

This falls on the Nigerian government for accepting them. It is unlawful to deport folks like that on a chartered flight.

A lot of the folks they have been sending back to Nigeria since the Tories came to power have been in the UK since they were kids, and they also have kids. All they know is the UK and they are not illegal immigrants. A lot of them just committed serious crimes and once you have been to prison for more than 18months now, if you are not born in the UK - the home office will cancel ya legal status.

A few people I grew up with have also been sent back cos of jail and they were never illegal immigrants. Nigeria is to blame. How these folks will assimilate into a country they haven't been to since they were between age 1-7 is still a mystery to me.

These people were definitely not deported, usually when people are deported they are not allowed to take any thing except they cloths they have on. These guys seems to have a lot of luggages.

It's a really bad thing that women now use maids as a pain killer, but I blive we can help stop them as individual, I can not count how many times I've had to interfere in madam/maid issue at salon,boutique nd even in d market. Jst 4days ago I came across a maid who cldnt hav been over 13yrs carrying half bag of rice nd d madam was holding her purse only, I watched with so much anger bt I ws trying to hold back d anger nd jst wen I ws abt tell my nerves to calm d f*ck down she bought some plantain the the seller wrapped it in a small nylon and was abt handing it to her wen she pointed to d rice on the little girl's head,meaning dt the plantain shld be added to the load,the seller looked shocked bt she cldnt say anything,@dis tym my nerve were screaming war, I jst stood up, lifted d bag of rice frm the girl's head, I Cnt remember if I actually dropped it gently or flung it,before I sha knew it we were both screaming nd yelling, a few other ppl joined me and we taught dis woman a lesson, @some point she Strtd to cry so we had to calm down bt I made sure we got the intervention of a law enforcement officer b4 I backed down, we got her address and the officer assured her dt he will check d child frm time to time. I'm nt proud of the fact dt I fought in d market BUT I will do it over nd over again for those children outdere who r being treated lyk possession. We can make a change if we try
