Foreign AffairsRe: The Innocence Of Muslims: The Film That Sparked Riots In Libya by otomatic(m): 12:25pm On Sep 14, 2012
"The God that answers by Fire(abi na rocket), let him be our God".... "and the Lord shall fight your battles and you will hold your peace".
it is foolish for anyone to fight for his God. rather God should be the one fighting for his people or "is his hand shortened that he cannot fight? or his eyes cannot see (to watch the movie), or his ears cannot hear (of the movie)?".

I just hope America will shun diplomacy here because this is unwarranted provocation. The movie was not made by the American Govt. so why kill an Ambassador (who supposedly has full immunity and protection)? The faceless producer is even Israeli and Jewish. So why attack Christians?

I sincerely hope some smart weapons are on the way to Libya now.
RomanceRe: My Girlfriends Boyfriend Gave Her A Confusing Reply. by otomatic(m): 7:58pm On Sep 11, 2012
is it not possible that this man has a wife somewhere? @42 years, the man will not shirk responsibly if he is unmarried especially after 7 good years of dating. but come to think of it, who dates anyone for that long if not for marriage? my opinion though.
PoliticsRe: Bianca's Lawyer Warns Ojukwus Over Properties by otomatic(m): 8:29pm On Sep 10, 2012
stagger: My friend stop talking rubbish. These are properties owned by the late Sir Louis Odumegwu Ojukwu which were seized by the Federal Government after the civil war and only returned in the 90s. Professor Ojukwu is the first born in that family and it is simply unthinkable that the Ikemba would now usurp the authority of the first-born of that family to decide who would manage what.

There is a popular accounting firm that has been in trust of the late Sir Louis's properties. Bianca therefore has no right to determine how properties that belonged to her husband's father are shared, especially when he is not the firstborn.

I am not Igbo but I believe in Igbo culture, it is the firstborns who are given the right of inheritance in a family.
The Late Sir Louis Ojukwu was reputed to be the richest Nigerian in his days, so the properties were legally acquired. Question is why did the Professor not exert his authority, if indeed he is firstborn, while the Ikemba was still alive? As for people that are joining Fashola in this matter, i wonder what they want him to do?
PoliticsRe: Fulani Herdsmen Demand Land Rights In 36 States by otomatic(m): 8:07pm On Sep 10, 2012
Your view of the problem at hand is quite simplistic. A lasting solution would probably need to contain the designation of certain federal land which would cut across several state, as "Herding Zone". This kind of zoning will go a long way in addressing the Fulani/Local conflicts which have increased nation-wide lately. It would keep you people away from encroaching on Fulani historical territories and check your sprawling.
this so called federal land was taken from people in the given locality whose means of livelihood (e.g farming) has also suffered. In some cases compensation was not given or was too meagre. some people, given any say in the acquisition would have chosen to keep their land for their future generations. So why rob Paul to pay Peter? Anybody who wants land should buy from any willing seller.

BusinessRe: If I Were The Cbn Governor, I Will Prefer To Print N10,000 Notes” – Atedo Peters by otomatic(m): 8:43pm On Sep 06, 2012
miqos02: According to the Stanbic IBTC Bank boss: “if I were the CBN governor, I will prefer to print N10,000 notes. Last year, Nigeria spent N47 billion to print these small notes. If we were printing bigger denominations, we will print a fewer number and make a phenomenal savings. Second, money is a store of value. All these thieves and vagabonds running around in various states and all over the country, when they steal money, they will want to keep it outside the banking system.”

“So, they need a higher denomination notes. Right now, they are using the $100 notes all over Nigeria because they are the best store of values for them. If you give them a better store of value, they will move away from those dollars and reduce the demand for the American notes and move into our own currency as opposed to the use of dollars to hide their loot, and so on.

“Right now, the country is losing in two ways. One, we are importing massive U.S. dollars to finance the activities of all these rouges because the dollars offered the higher store of values to them. And two, we squander our resources printing large volumes of worthless notes. There is no inflationary impact. That is voodoo economics. Let me tell you one thing. If you know that printing N5,000 notes will create more inflation, why don’t you reduce the value of your notes and see whether you will not experience inflation in the process. This is simple logic.”
In order words, it is okay for people to loot public funds and launder money as long as they do it in naira and not dollars. Thus CBN has to provide the naira medium for these nefarious activities. Good justification.

Anyway, i doubt the source of this post.

sue LASTMA for defamation of character by accusing her of manslaughter. afterall the official died out of his own carelessness. she didnt overun him.
sue LASTMA for (wo)manhandling her while trying to seize the keys of her car.
get a good lawyer that will ensure the case gets thrown out of court on some technicalities such as the applicable law under which the offence was committed.

my sympathies however lie with the dead.
