Pls any lawyers in the house to add some legal perspective to this issue cos I'm thinking going to court to claim reputation damage could be my own resort

I feel obliged as a non-partisan Akwa Ibom person to comment especially after seeing similar stories on Linda Ikeji's blog yesterday.

The rain that caused the flood fell from the previous evening and throughout the night and even in the morning, more than 12 hours nonstop.

Those flooded roads were not recently built. Those are military era roads.

The drainage everyone is talking about is not in that neighborhood.

Uyo is flood prone due to the nature of its topography.

I am proud of the government of the state cos we have never had it so good infrastructure-wise as we did in the last 8 years.

Before you comment, make sure you have been in Uyo before.

Methinks both guys will use the trip to iron out the prospects of amnesty for Boko Haram. Let's watch out

Anyway, having an SS child is not a pleasant experience. The man shouldn't have lied on such a sensitive issue. As such I can't blame the lady for her decision. She knows what she wants.

The cars are not "made in Nigeria" but "assembled in Nigeria". The real manufacturing was done abroad and then the completely knocked down parts were shipped down for assembling. I'll rather buy a more prestigious tokunbo SUV for 1.9milla than this KIA.

Nsibidi is an ancient form of writing and is only taught to the initiates of traditional societies like the Ekpo, Ekpe , etc. To learn it, u must be an initiate in those societies

GoTv no try at all. i am seriously disappointed. i bought one yesterday for my mom since i spend some weekends in her house and miss my favourite news channel on DSTV - CNN. unfortunately, the channel and several others on their flyer r not showing. so i hav to watch only aljazeera. anyway, i've noted all the channels on their flyer that r showing, so that when i travel back to my place i will inform all my friends who intend to install it to stay action till there is an improvement.

exactly 1 yr ago i upgraded from my old papa-dash-me toyota corolla to a 98 Avalon XLs and i'm loving the car everyday. no major repairs just routine maintenance. plus if u pay attention to the warning lights on the dashboard, then you cant go wrong. it's a luxury car, very spacious, superb handling, smooth and super-silent driving (you wont even notice when its changing gears). however, it comsumes more fuel compared to d corolla, but then i guess it's cos all Avalon are V6 engines (same engine as Sienna and Highlander).
