Paul said a man is not justified by the work of the law but through faith in Jesus(Gal. 2:16), but does being justified by faith mean a Christian is free to sin as much as he or she pleases? Paul didn't think so. "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace might increase?... (Rom. 6:12) How does this arguement prove that Christians need not observe the Sabbath, but still avoid adultery, theft and murder? Just because obeying a law doesn't justify us doesn't mean we don't have to obey it. Law can't save us, but it tell us what to do and not do. James explained that the Law was a spiritual mirror that tells us how to improve our behavior. He called it the "Law of Liberty". (James 1:25) the Law defines sin(Rom. 7:7, 5:12, 3:20, 4:15). Hence if Jesus' death cancelled the whole law, not just the penalty of the law assessed for violating it when one accepts His sacrifice by faith, no one would have sinned since His death and resurrection in AD 31. It's necessary to carefully analyze soteriologically, terms such as "grace," "law," faith," "repentance," and "justification," and put them into their correct logical relationship with each other. True sabbath obeying doesn't earn salvation, neither does avoiding adultery or murder. But God still wants us to obey all Ten Commandments nevertheless. Didn't Jesus keep the Sabbath? (Luke 4:16; Mark 2:27-28) Having Jesus in us doesn't mean we don't need to make conscious efforts to overcome sin. Christians are not under the law, but under grace, true, but how does this principle releases us from obeying the sabbath, but not from avoiding adultery? Paul made a point of anticipating how this principle could be abused in Romans 6:15. Paul uses the term "under the law" in places to a state in which someone hasn't been forgiven for their sins and is still not reconciled to God by accepting Jesus. The law defines what is and what isn't sin, since sin is lawlessness (1 John 3:4) Since "the requirement of the law would be fulfilled |
The president ordered a fullSo just like election postponement, he wasn't aware of this too? Who is really in charge? |
Nigeria needs a Leader that has qualities Jonathan does not possess. APC is the doorway to a better Nigeria; Buhari holds the key. |
warrior101:Can you just tell me the difference between 2011 and now? Or all his antagonists were born after he won in 2011? Do you think he would've stayed longer than May 29 2011 on that seat if things were like this? Like I said, you'll soon know the real people who run things. He's not in hell yet. He's just feeling the heat from afar and I wish it won't get to the level where all hell will be let lose on him, coz he can't withstand it. The APC is the pathway to a better Nigeria and Buhari leads the way. The change unstoppable. If it were, I have no business supporting APC because I have better connections in the PDP. The highest ranking people I know personally in APC are State Legislators. Leave sentiments for suckers. This change for me, is beyond my belly, religion or ethnicity. It's just what it is, CHANGE! The Heavens have declared Buhari the winner of this year election since 2011. God has seen his sincerity and has decided to give him one more chance. I cared less who becomes the President because I do not vote in Presidential elections. I was sceptical of Buhari presidency in 2011 and I've never been mistaken about GEJ's deficiencies. But now, I'm convinced beyond doubt that it's Buhari's time. Which party is busy throwing mud at the other? Which one has taken the place of the opposition lately? Just take a look at a recent photo of Buhari and the one GEJ took at Awujale's palace and tell me from their face, who is having sleepless nights? We'll meet at the polls. |
warrior101:I see! The parable is too hard for your simple brain. If he is a match for us, why then is he running everywhere seeking support. He could have just sit his butt in Abuja. 28th of march is just 2 weeks away now and there's no need for the rants. You will know the real boss after then. Just safe your breathe. |
abila122:We don't want a Lamb that roars like a Lion on the seat of power. Not again. We want to know who is really His being a member of that cult will not fare well with Nigeria. We've had enough already. |
manny4life:He doesn't need to be a member per se, to know that. As a member of a Royal Family and a Grandson of the immediate past Aworo(Chief Priest) of my province, I know that any King that dresses a non-member of the cult like that in his palace will die. It's exclusively for the occult. You don't expect the caption of the photo to be " Jonathan in Awujale's palace, as he got initiated into the Ogboni cult" do you? |
abila122:Fixed |
atlwireles:He knows what he's talking about. |
igbeke:Mind telling us what it takes? Human bloods? You don't think anything good will come from his presidency after making a deal with principalities in the dark world, do you? When a leader seeks power by all mean, he will definitely reign amidst bloodshed, poverty and insecurity just as we have now. He knows his time is up, that's why he's looking for another shortcut, but this time around, he will fail. Never again shall we be having bloodsheds just for a man to remain in power. |
I shake my head for those who think church-going makes you a christian. This man, GEJ, has been lubricating the wheel of his leadership with the blood of innocent people since 2010. The witches and wizards don't endorse people for nothing. Why has crime and bloodshed be on the increase since he took over in 2010? The answer is: "when evil people are in power, crime increases. But the righteous will live to see the downfalls of such people"-Proverbs 29:16. He can join more evil cults in addition to those he belongs, but he can not extend his tenure beyond May 29 by so doing. |
wakacome:Leave them. Let's see how we'll allow OPC to lead ND militants to throw Yorubaland into crisis. |
As long as OPC members won't interfer with voting processes, we are cool. |
barcanista:Boko Haram have strongholds mainly in APC's strongholds. Do you want to pretend you didn't know, when sometimes last year, President Jonathan and some PDP members were boasting that States under their control are peaceful and mocking APC of being in control of States being plagued with insecurity? They didn't consider insurgency as dominant in Kaduna and Plateau states or any part of these states and I don't think they consider Adamawa as a state to win in this election. Notice! They've been mouthing Gombe as equally unsafe for elections shortly after the postponement of the election. 4. Anybody can destroy their stronghold to gain sympathy. Again BH isn't restricted to APc states. I have answered earlier. This is the same perception that has led Jonathan into thinking BH was designed to destroy his government, hence underestimated them From whom do Buhari and APC intend to gain sympathy? How about Jonathan destroying South-South states and blame it on BH to gain sympathy since anybody can do it? We all know those who have been gaining sympathy by creating the impression that it's Buhari that's sponsoring BH to make Nigeria ungovernable for him. 5.... It could even be sending assassin and tagging it BH.Just as our troops usually do at the onset just to justify the huge budget. 6. Which PDP said so? However, the positions of the opposition since 2013 has not been favorable and patriotic by my judgement.Even Jonathan confessed that he's been treating BH with kids glove because they are his siblings. 7. Most terrorists operations don't leave trace. Not in this case. Nothing is without a trace. Not after 5 years. 8. Most of the people arrested are "boys" who were contracted by a 3rd party that won't tell them who they are. They can't provide info. The "boys" know who they are working for. I know what I'm saying when I say they know. Our Government have intels on them. 9. Saboteurs, powerful networks of the terrorists etc are also uping their game as the government is upping theirs. The only saboteurs we have here are the ones doing the spendings. Our Military has become a source of siphoning public fund. 10. As at the beginning, the terrorists were hiding behind civilian population. It was difficult to distinguish terrorist from civilians. This has lead to human right abuses and killings of innocent souls. It was BH and the Army against law abiding citizens. You don't know what these guys-not BH- were doing in the NE that prompted Northern Elders to cry genocide. You will not hear it from me. Those who joined BH voluntarily know why they did so- not because of Islam, money or hatred for Jonathan. 13. Nigerian Soldiers were not expertised in guerrila war as at then. Again the SoE was not supported by some northern population and the APC, cooperation was minimal or non existing and you can't rule out saboteurs.Their reason against the SoE was the same reason why they accused the Army of genocide. You position on this issue won't be any different from theirs, if you were from the troubled area. 15. Sponsors of terrorism are very powerful, wealthy and well connected people. They have sympathisers and employees everywhere. It is not sane to ask the number 15.This doesn't make sense. |
APC is the doorway to a better and prosperous Nigeria; Buhari and Osinbanjo hold the key |
General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd), (GCFR). President, Federal Republic of Better Nigeria...the key to our bright future. |
ribbit:It would nail GEJ's ambition to the cross once and for all. |
APC need not campaign again. Just continue airing the damn thing every day and night until the election day. |
Femi, when are they showing the thing and on which station, make I watch am? ![]() Bukola Saraki (my to-be Father-in-law) and Rotimi Amaechi, fear God o! ![]() |
temitemi1:A robot like you is unworthy of my response, but I want you to relay this message to your programmer: " Saharareporters have told more truths this year alone, than the Jonathan-led government in 6 years." |
steppin:You've not explained how GEJ, through Mark, intends to rule our votes out come March 28. Yeye dey smell. |
PDP lost the game changer. ![]() ![]() ![]() PDP's failure in coming weeks can not be salvaged. |
Anything to sink the PDP sooner than its expected time is welcome. Let's see who will laugh last. |
I wonder the kind of life his mother lived to be wearing diapers at 70. My Grandma at 95 still knows the way to the toilet. Fayose must be thinking everyone at 70+ lived a reckless life as a youth, like his Mom. |
Kola4uniadgog:He would never allow corruption under his watch- his opponents have accused him of high-handedness, but this's what I appreciate most about him. He would never devalue the Naira because he wouldn't squander our foreign reserves. He's not a wasteful spender and he wouldn't spend 90% of our budget servicing his lifestyle. He is not the kind of person who would spend N4 billion annually on feeding and travels while an average Nigerian live below the poverty level. He would never keep 11 fleets of presidential jets while our roads are bad. He's not a liar and doesn't make empty promises. He believes in equity and justice and would not spare anyone found wanton no matter how highly placed. Under him, insurgency will be a thing of the past, because of his political will and experience. Under him, the much needed discipline and sanity will be restored. He is patriotic and sincere about effecting a CHANGE. Equally important, he doesn't take alcohol, smoke or dope, so he is physically and mentally fit. Hence, he wouldn't be making alcohol-induced utterrances and would save us international embarrassment we're going through now. These and more of his qualities and idea would forever remain relevant, even if it's 71st century. |
The age of his ideas is exactly why someone like me will be voting him. Nothing to worried about. |
...because he dash you two DisCos ko? I see! Where I come from, when Kings err, we force them to commit suicide, no second chance. In this case, no benefit of a doubt for a failed Presidents. |
sydneyobioha:You should have re-registered in the last Continuous Voters' Reg. I re-registered last year, in late August and I have my PVC now. |
With video evidence to back it up, PEJ is in deep mess. ![]() |
Flets:"Nevertheless, he added that the commission, in agreement with registered political parties, had provided in the approved Guidelines for the conduct of the 2015 elections that where biometric authentication of a legitimate holder of a genuine PVC becomes challenging, there could be physical authentication of the person and completion of an Incident Form, to allow the person to vote" It's common sense. |
“So, let no one say that he has no money to deliver power for the entire country. This is the limit to which the law allows us to do, but we have done this to make a statement that power can be generated. So, when they come with lies that power is impossible, you can tell them that we have power here; we make it possible”The art of good governance is pure common sense. It's only those that pocket 90% of our budget that make it a mirage. Things must CHANGE after March 28 |
