But WES can also send the verification though email na? with that some cost will be saved DonTee07: Dear All,
I've been reading cases of WES verification ish and the trouble before it gets to the school, some even get missing along the line which prompt WES to re-send.
We cant blame the school nor can we blame WES...Its simply a system failure, post office these days are near grounded and not functioning properly. Till date, my standard delivery of completed WES report concluded June 2017 has not gotten to me. I had to make use of the email copy.
It's advisable to instruct WES to send the verification via private courier, the cost may increase the amount for WES but its worth it. It's crazy having to wait months for verification to no avail.
With courier verification, it will get to the school in a matter of days and they can confirm to WES. |

lolzzzz sincerely no idea. I would want to assume they are trying to match all your course work in comparison to Canadian equivalency before they print the report. Itsawonder: There's something I don't understand about these credentials verification agencies expecially WES, what exactly is the cause of further delay for another 20 days after they've received all documents and verified same to be genuine? They don't have printer or what? It's really crazy. |

@shyee, WES was quite easy for me as long as i was able to do all the ground work to ensure my documents got to them on time. Their service was quite professional as they responded and provided all information i needed whenever i called or mailed them. Based on my experience, i can conclusively say that WES is technically the fastest in producing ECA report, with the caveat that you are able to do all your ground work to ensure your documents are sent from school(Transcript, verification, etc) Expecting completion of my ECA report by 20th August as seen on my profile, as verification is duly completed. Shyee: I used WES for my two evaluations, though one is still pending, my reason for using WES in my examples. To make decisions easy, maybe we could all share our experiences with our evaluations from different bodies, tag me, I would try to summarize it, then upload here. |

You have fantastic credentials for this journey. pls make hay while the sun shines, no need to wait for next year ending. Who knows they might begin to ask for First school leaving certificate by next year ending or even your note book while you were in nursery school. ayusco85: Thanks brother. I really appreciate. I will start right away. And as per my work experience it's excluding nysc. I finished serving Oct 2015 and I started working Jan 2016 till date. I will play around the crs tool link. While its true that masters gives additional points, but other factors like age, experience, siblings in Canada, etc can be positive game changers in influencing scores. I'll suggest you evaluate your peculiar situation using the CRS calculator below to help decide further http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.aspluvluvluv: Good evening house.... Pls kindly advise
I read in another group that it's better to have a second degree like MSc to stand a chance. I rilly want to know if this is tru so I don't get stuck after spending money to take ielts exams.
Pls note I studied mech engineering but I have 5yrs work experience in banking. Now married to wify who just finished nysc. Funding this process by God's grace won't be any issue.
Someone pls advise. |

i saw same too on mine. Expected completion date is august 20th. I guess they just upgraded their systems and its reflected same information across board, regardless of the stage. I do believe they wont come back to ask for that sha, as per all requested documents were sent as required when we started. ChandlerBing: WES should stop this rough play o. My expected completion date is August 8th. Right there in required documents I see WAEC.
Well, I'm just gonna ignore it till they email me.
Me that is even expecting that they release my ECA before 8th so I'll submit profile and be eligible for August 8th possible draw. |

I initially had same issue. Got the email from WES indicating verification mail has been sent to my school. My contacts used 3 days to checked and said didnt see anything. i even accused my contact of his inability to use modern technology (Email). He verified his claims by sending me a screenshot of the email box page by page for that period. Still nothing from WES. With this information i called WES, and found out they only sent the verification via post. I had to request they send through email, as i do not have the luxury of time to wait for delivery by post. I even gave them the email address that was included in the transcript cover letter. Next day email was received. I guess you can place a call to confirm means with which your verification was sent. teefinix: Good afternoon. Pls as anyone experience delay on ECA due to non receipt on email for verification. Wes keep saying they ve sent the email to my sch. I ve been to d sch severally even checked together witj the officer in charge of confirmation. The email was not found. Wes has also sent another one afteer waiting for 7wks! Still sch didnt get it. Sch said the email add is d same as what is on d sch letterhead. Wes has refuse to allow me confirm email in theie own records cos i was thinking they r sending to d wrong add. Pls what can be d way foward. Kindly share experience Thnk u. |

Most often than not, people usually receive their ECA report on the day specified by WES. I'm also in same ship now, waiting for ECA completion this August, after battling with school to send transcript, then battling with WES to send verification mail via email and not post only, waging world war 3 with school to respond to verification email, hmmmm. Truly this journey is not for the faint hearted. joo2018: Hi e-family. Progress. Got a due date on my WES ECA evaluation. Q: As anybody got the evaluation report earlier than the due date given? The stories I hear more are for those that got after the due date. |

It's well, just keep on holding as PPR is around the corner for you and your family. Lovely way you work out things in your family, its fab! cheers aworldcitizen: Good morning Beautiful Family,
Thank you to everyone that dropped encouraging words on my previous posts.
Friday 20th July made it 180 days of waiting. After going through immense sadness and pressure due to our lives being on hold; I did the folowing and I am so much happier.
1) We took out 1m from our treasury bills. 2) We paid for house rent - Rent was going to be due in August and we had planned to stay with family for few weeks before travelling. Sadly, this plan did not work out as we are yet to get PPR. 3) We refurbished my car (body works & AC) and hubby is using it for uber starting today. He has also intensified job search. (We had earlier sold hubby's car for POF and we were both just managing mine) 4) I went shopping for my kids. Their shoes, cloths and all were all worn out (Like seriously worn out with holes, I had been patching since December last year). But we kept managing as all money were utilised to pursue this canny dream and we kept hoping that PPR is close, and we will shop when we get to canny. 5) We went on a daycation to lacampaigne Tropicana. 6)I bought enough food stuffs in the house, my daughter said, 'Arh mummy finally chicken'. 7) If we get an ADR for updated POF, hopefully hubby gets 25% of his pension before then, but if not we hope to quickly exchange/Sell the car for cash at CAR 45.
I am so much at peace now and not under any stress again. London VISA office, you can't give me high blood pressure! |

Just a correction, with scores of LRSW of 8.5,8.0,7.5,7.5 for the lady as the PA and LRSW of 8,7,7,7 for the husband they would get 443 Shyee: This is the CRS link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp Meanwhile, I simulated your credentials with the info you provided and IELTS score in LSWR of 8777 for yourself and 6.5 all through for your common-law partner you had 449, which is a good one. My recommendation is: Read the first 2 pages of this thread, follow the various links you find there for more information, AND start putting stuff together. Your story may change within 6 months if you're well equipped with good information. |

It appears that your plan all along was to get a visitors visa and claim asylum, because how is it that you discussed permament residence and you didnt know about the exams you were supposed to take? No basic reserach at all? Now that you've found this thread, count your loss, forget agent, research and apply for your visa yourself. |

I also had same issue, school claiming not to have received any mail from WES. I called WES and was reliably informed that mail was sent via post only. Na so i told them not to worry, as i have the email that was included in the transcript cover letter. They collected what i gave them via phone and verified it was as same in the transcript cover letter. Next day, E-mail was sent and school confirmed they have received it. What i found out was that, sending via E-mail may be at their discretion, especially if they do not have a good experience on email correspondence with certain schools. So just give WES a call to verify. Jadel03: Guys my exam is tomorrow.Wish me the best fam.
Meanwhile my verification has been pending since 18th of June. My school claims they can't see any mail.
What other options are available? Kindly advise |
