It's simple as Abc. Ask PDP for their presidential ticket. Even in 1999. The Presidential ticket under PDP was zoned to South. That was why Obj and Ekwueme contested the primary at Jos then. Now, if you think think one political party will just zone their ticket to SE, it's high time you faced the reality. It will never happen. It has never happened. Democracy is about competition not emotions
Apart from the sentiments, these people don't know that no political party will want to willingly put itself in disadvantaged positions and be easily defeated.

That the presidential ticket should go to the south east is not in doubt.

The pdp should have no problem clearing the SS/SE as usual and perform strongly in lagos and possibly ondo.

The North central is very critical.

And i have a feeling they would be more predisposed to a fair and equitable distribution of the presidency.

The pdp need to work on the north central, and it is very feasible.

If the igbo candidate can clear the north central with the same way he is going to clear southern Nigeria, then the presidency is inevitable.

North central is the key. And the game to woo them should start now.
Who is that 'Igbo candidate' who is still nameless without any visible political structure 30 months to the election and hope to defeat seasoned ,monied and experienced political Titans like Atiku or Kwankwanso for the PDP ticket, let alone defeat the APC in 2023?

2023 is Nigerias date with destiny. The country will either choose the path of inclusiveness and save whatever that is left of her unity or the path of segregation and watch the nation implode slowly. Nobody will fight to remove white colonialism only to accept a very funny attempt by two local groups to hyjack power at the detriment of others.. The only path for survival left for Nigeria is the path of inclusiveness.. Everybody is waiting for Buhari and his partisan hacks to make that foolish move and start off an avalanche of reactions that will ultimately reset brains across board politically in this country.
But Jubrin Al-Sudani is going in 2023, so he and his partisan hacks can't make any move.

The southwest betrayed the south south 2015 with a hidden agender to become president 2023..
If the south west can't support the southeast, or better still the south south my brother, let the North continue..

But all the same,, am in for a better president irrespective of any geographic zone his from..
Bros, stop this your lies.

There was nothing like microzoning of the Presidency in 1999 as Dr Alex Ekwueme, Jim Nwobodo, Philip Asiodu, Gharam-Douglas and Don Etiebet spent their time, energy and money to campaign accross the length and breadth of Nigeria requesting PDP heavyweights in each State to support their candidacies.
They were however defeated at 1999 the PDP Jos Convention .

The S/West is not your problem. Go and negotiate with the PDP to support your aspiration.

You are free to vote for any Northerners but stop this your childish blackmail of the S/West.

Just listen to yourself.

Fulanis are settlers and they became the king of the most important town in the state (Ilorin). Continue enslaving yourselves. A Yoruba Town with a Fulani king, only in Ilorin. To even remember the same north don't even see Yorubas as serious Muslims makes me sick
What exactly is your problem sir?
Why are you crying more than the bereaved?

There are so many towns/kingdoms with Traditional rulers that are not of Indigenous origins e.g

1) Spain and the ruling Bourbon Royal dynasty which is French origin
2) England/UK with the ruling Windsor Family (original name= Saxe-Coba Bortha) which is German origin.
3) Bini Kingdom with the reigning Oronmiyan which is of Ife origin.
4) Onitsha Kingdom with the reigning Ezechima dynasty originating from Bini
5) Kano, Zauzzau, Katsina ,Hadeiji and Daura' Emirates with the reigning dynasties being of Fulanis descent. The same things happened in Bida and Ilorin.

All these may not pose anything for these rulers if their subjects aren't complaining.
So why is it your problems sir?

Most Yoruba people do not support this. Their reason is that they will war against themselves. Are Yorubas barbaric or kindergarten that they can not govern themselves?
Nigeria exist today because of Niger Dleta oil. Any day it dries up or becomes worthless peacefully everyone would go to their tents.
To the one organising Oduduwa Republic my message to you is to publish your would-be constitution. Gather like minds and formulate constitution so people can read and decide either to key in or out.
IPOB should also do this. Who knows if those in control of Nigeria can see it and have a change of mind for a change in the present constitution? Nigeria can not continue like this. Those who want the country to remain one must ensure it is a habitable place.
What about the Tiv, Nupe, Ebira, Eshan, Efik or Anabuta ethnic groups?

You welcome, I'm also learning Hausa, I used to work in my family farm in Enugu where we employ some northerner who speak Hausa language, they had been teaching me, I wanted to learn yoruba but since most Yorubas here are fluent in English and most of them can speak basic Igbo we either communicate in English or Igbo, for the northerners working for us, they are like three to four so they prefer to communicate within themselves in Hausa, since they were my age, I usually get along with them and I'm forced to pick up some few and basic housa, northerners live more like in a cluster here, so they won't drop Hausa for Igbo but once in a while they try to learn, but since most of them are not ethnic Hausa but other northerners they find it hard to pick another language while still trying to perfect their Hausa, some come from as far as Cameroon. what tribe are you.
I am a Yoruba man who has traveled and been to many parts of Nigeria but unfortunately haven't been to Alaigbo.

If Nigeria is serious about being a Nation, we need to build 'wealth creation centres' in each of the Geo-Political zone which will draw many people from far and near to live and work there.
In the process, they will learn the languages, cultures and world views of the native peoples.

In the 1960-1980s, many Agatu& Igede came to do farm works in the S/West and today the descendants of these people understand Yoruba language fluently and many have even inter-married with our people.

The Hausas don't mingle well with Southerners and prefer to live in their own enclaves called 'Sabo' within our cities because their worldviews is too different from that of the Southerners.

Buhari Amaka will mean Buhari is beautiful but ochichi buhari Amaka means Buhari's administration is good or beautiful, though I hope you know that in translation some taste of the language maybe lost so there could be some details to the Amaka that you will understand if you are more fluent in Igbo

1) Go out now and look for any construction site in your town.

2) Wake up by 5:30am, pray for 10mins and ask God to uplift you ,bless the works of your hands and remove reproach &shame from your life.

3) Go straight to the construction site and join the labourers. They normally finish by 4 pm. Continue to this work (3days work, rest on the 4th day)

4) When you get your first pay (it's usually daily pay) buy a wine/whiskey for your dad if he drinks or a plate of pepper soup if he doesn't.
Just say you bought something for him out of your hustling today, don't say anything else

5) Join a contributory thrift scheme (Ajo/Esusu). Avoid Gambling, womanizing or drinking for now.

6)After a week, branch at the market, buy 10Kg bag of Semo or tubers of Yams +5 litres of red oil and give them to your mum.

7) Continue on the job while looking for other jobs/business that suit your taste/interests.

cool You may not have the luxury of time/energy to be going out to watch Football matches because the little time you will have when you reach home will be to eat, bath, relax with your family , listen to news and sleep.

9) When you get you get your contribution from the Esusu/Ajo, go and buy a wheel barrow, digger, headpan and shovel and start renting them out .
With time, add sales of nails, roofing sheets, cement and other building materials

10) Look for a good lady to be your wife.

11) Watch as the family respect you more especially when you must have rented or build your own apartment.

12) Thank me later.

PoliticsRe: Yorubas In Kwara, Kogi Demand Merger With South-West by oyatz(m): 7:45pm On Sep 29, 2020
NaijirianKing:
There are certain local governments where, due to close proximity and a thriving economy, may Yoruba from the SW have migrated to the area in search of greener pastures, some travel to Lagos, some travel North. Many Igbo live in Uyo, Kano, and Lagos, however that doesn't make those places Igboland.

There's no denying that there is a high presence of recent migrants from the SW, but Kwara is a northern state with mainly northern elements. Logically speaking, if these people were truly SW elements, they wouldn't allow themselves to be grouped into the North. This is just the reality.
S/West and North are Geographical terms and they don't denote any ethnic group.

You can learn about the ethnic demography of Kwara State by asking the citizens of the state across board or go to the State's website or better still live for sometime in the State.

The pussies of those househelps are very magical. They have turned so many families upside down.
Nothing magical about it. It's pure human psychology at play.

1) House helps, no matter uneducated, uncultured, poor or ugly they may be are also humans.

2) The nature of their jobs may provide shelter, foods, money and meet most of their needs but conspicuously silent about one important need- sexual needs of the househelps!
Where, when and how the housemaids are supposed to have sex aren't factored into consideration and are mostly repressed.

3) Househelps can't freely bring their B/Friends home or take permission from their employers to go and visit their BFs. In fact, most employers frown seeing their H/helps with BFs.

4) To solve the problems, H/helps easily accept sexual advances from men around them e.g The Master, driver, Maiguard, Cleaner, relatives of their bosses.
Sometimes, H/helps sexual abuse the young sons of their madam.
One guy once told me that when he was around 7years, their H/help once made him to lick her vagina , telling him that it will turn to ice cream in his mouth.

This is just the truth. grin

Even those that are born and brought up in some parts of Kwara are guilty of same.

You have to keep reminding them that they are not in SW almost all the time. cheesy
Even people in the core North don't regard Kwara as part of the North.

When I was working briefly in Kano State and one of my colleagues was trying to let me know he understands greetings in Yoruba language. Then I asked him how did a Fulaniman from Kano learnt how to greet in Yoruba and replied that he served in Yorubaland. So I asked you were posted to Ibadan? He said no, he served in Ilorin.

Apart from the ruling elites in Ilorin who (correctly) have partial but distant Fulani ancestries and try to connect to the POLITICAL Fulanis for Gov't patronage/protections, most Ilorin people see themselves as part of the S/West.

No body is cajoling anybody and I am 100% in support of the rights to self determination of the Igbos or any group to identify as anything they like.

However, it's wrong for some Igbos to always come online and be blaming the Yorubas as the reasons why Ikwerres-Ogba-Aniomas deny being Igbos.
