What are you showing others?

Are you going to live forever?

Mallam Abba Kyari attended the best schools in the UK, worked in one of the best Law firms, banks, Multinational Companies and held a powerful political office.
He lived a good life to the fullest till the very end of his life.

If you should work hard, smart and pray to achieve to achieve just about 50% of his achievements, your family and community will celebrate you and most people will consider you successful.

Some people prefer it to be shallow like that so that plants can grow on it and easily tap from the decomposing corpse (an excellent manure).

Why is the grave so shallow...... it's not up to 6 ft.......may like 4 or 3.5 ft.

Is it Muslim thing?

PoliticsRe: Yoruba Moslems Trending On Twitter by oyatz(m): 5:08pm On Apr 18, 2020
I strongly advise you to read wide.

Virtually all countries started as multiethnic Kingdoms/Empires with different degrees of heterogeneity.

The United States, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Malaysia, Indonesia, Spain, Ethiopia,South Africa,France,China all started as heterogeneous Countries and many are still heterogeneous Countries till date.

Nigeria can exist as one Nigeria, IF the Nigerian people AGREE for it to exist as such and define the rules for such existence.

Pre-Colonial African States such as the Ghana, Songhai , Mali and Oyo Empires are Shining examples of multi-ethnic African Countries with varying degrees of civilizations.

If the people of Nigeria don't agree, it's better to divide the countries to smaller States.

selemempe:
one Nigeria is the main reason for our underdevelopment. That you don't realise why is a big shame.

Check the most developed African countries, they are all homogeneous...having the same mother tongue and culture. From the Arabic north Africans to Namibia and Botswana... Black people don't have the intelligence to build a successful multi ethnic nation
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Moslems Trending On Twitter by oyatz(m): 10:49pm On Apr 17, 2020

There are so many people in this Country who don't know the name of the President.
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Moslems Trending On Twitter by oyatz(m): 9:50pm On Apr 17, 2020
Bros, are the Muslims complaining?

Why is it our responsibility to dictate to them our they want to practice their religion?

If Yoruba Muslims can't sight the Ramadan moon, can a Nupe, Ebira, Kanuri or Igbo Muslims do it?

Malawian:
Actually, the Chief Imam in Coker Central Mosque is a Yoruba and I know him personally. I always see Northern Muslims go there for their prayers, so that angle is not really valid. What is valid is that Northern Muslims don't see Yoruba Muslims as equals. Heck, No Yoruba Muslim is even permitted to look for the Ramadam moon.
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Moslems Trending On Twitter by oyatz(m): 9:46pm On Apr 17, 2020
It seems you know so much about different classes of Muslims.

Which other areas of human endevours do you know so much?

Can you solve this problem sir?

Biafrarep:
Lol, this would have been very funny if you don't mind the sad reality underneath. What sort of diabolical wickedness and hate will make the abo.kis to treat afonja moon god worshippers with such disdain??

This is ridiculous to say the least. You didn't invent the so called religion yet you treat others like outcasts??

Arabs will treat Black African Moon god worshippers with utter disdain only for some black Africans to also be treated as inferior by fellow Black adherents grin angry grin

So, in essence, the middle East Arabs are first class Muslims. The North African Arabs are second class Muslims. The Hausas are third class Muslims. Other northern minorities are fourth class Muslims. While our afonja brothers takes the rear position as fifth class Muslims undecided undecided

This is the height of inferiority complex. Tueh!

PoliticsRe: Yoruba Moslems Trending On Twitter by oyatz(m): 9:41pm On Apr 17, 2020
You seems to have a fixed mindset which appears not open to new/other view points.

How did you arrive that I support one Nigieria or I am against one Nigeria?

Is 'One Nigeria' the sole reason of our underdevelopment as a people?

Why do Africans love to blame others (other tribes, their step mothers, witches, Government, Satan or even God etc) for their shortcomings and rarely likes to take responsibility for their actions and/inactions?

selemempe:
lol...the north is naturally violent bro...zamfara has been at war since 2015... This violence simply stems from upbringing.
A family that has 21 kids can not be expected to train all of them well ...and also Islam itself has some fundamental problems that you easily see in the middle East ..
You may be loving one Nigeria today...but trust me, your descendants would blame you for not revolting against one Nigeria today

Our fathers made the mistake in 1957...today we blame them.
You are making the mistake today... tomorrow your kids will blame you.

PoliticsRe: Man On Twitter Narrates His Scary Experience He Had In The North by oyatz(m): 9:31pm On Apr 17, 2020
And how does that relate to the subject matter under consideration?

Part of the attributes of great men is that they have a good sense of judgement.

Good sense of Judgement include the capacity to CORRECTLY identify what is the problem, who are working with or against you, the appropriate solutions and very importantly the differences between your enemies, opponents and competitors.

You have been shouting Afonjas up and down, whipping up hatred against the Yoruba people and castigating the 'North' as the problem of Nigeria for long. . .Has this method really worked? Don't you think you need to change your strategy?

selemempe:
because the north knew their places until 1967 when yorubas started to support them. Yorubas are complicit in this problem
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Moslems Trending On Twitter by oyatz(m): 6:58pm On Apr 17, 2020
Most of the riots in the North which they portrayed as 'religious riots' actually some forms of xenophobic riots hiding under the cover of religion.

If you look very well, you will hardly hear of Religious crisises in Zamfara, Sokoto or Jigawa States because these States have about 98% indigenous population.

Shari'ah /Religious riots appear to be common only in States with high population of non-indigenes and/or heterogeneous States like Kaduna & Plataeu States.

ZKOSOSO:
It's very true.
Yoruba Muslims are not counted as real muslims by Fulanis because Islam itself is hypocritically racist.

Most religious killings by Muslims in the north usually affect Yoruba Muslims more than Christians.
Witnessed this first hand in Kaduna and Kano. Even Edo muslims too were killed in Kano all the time.

RomanceRe: Why Do Married Women Dress Like This To Sweep Compound by oyatz(m): 11:14am On Apr 17, 2020
Now we have a perversed generartion living at a difficult times which is having negative tolls on marriages.

Modern day life with a higher sense of materialism have altered the traditional system in which marriage operated in the past.

Now both husbands and wives have to leave home early (sometimes as early as 6:00am) to go and hustles and return home by 5pm, tired and exhausted with little money to live comfortable lives they aimed for at the beginning of the marriage.

Married women that look for lift while going to or from work, married women that spend more time with male colleagues than their husbands, married women that ask other men for airtimes and married women that borrowed money from men are only one step away from adultery.

NockMedia:
Bro, most married women of today, got no shame.
Listen, I do frequently exercise myself in the mornings and you'd be amazed at the number of married women permitting young boys to touch them, all in the name of "Exercise".
Some of them will dress provokingly in the name of recreational exercise. Their Camel toes and nipples would be on display, and they don't mind.
Sometimes, I feel their husbands don't give them enough attention at home, hence the immoral behaviour and dressing.
Morning exercises is now a subtle way to meet young men and hook up with them, for some of these ladies.
PoliticsRe: We Can’t Lock Down North — Northern Governors by oyatz(m): 5:57am On Apr 16, 2020
Kid, you are the ignorant one here.

Tiv are in Benue State, Agatu are also in Benue State while Igala is in Kogi State.

Benue and Kogi States are parts of the 19 States carved out from the defunct Northern Region.

New year festivals are usually parts of the celebrations of many African tribes to thank or request from the deities of Harvest, gods of the Land or departed ancestors for bounty harvests in the land (varies from culture to culture).

The traditional rulers and the chief priests often officiate in the celebrations.

From Judeo-Christian/European perspectives, activities that involve elements of African Traditional Religions are often regarded as 'Pagan' ( not necessarily evil).

#Curses: if your tongue in cursing is that effective, why haven't you prayed for yourself to be one of the most successful young men in Nigeria?

Or your tongue is only effective in cursing and ineffective in praying?

Charleys:
Guy if you quote me again I'll curse you.
So Tiv and Igala are in the north.
Agatu is now north to you.

You are an illiterate and that's me being nice to you.

You haven't shown me where it's a pagan celebration yet.

Igala, Igede, Tiv , Agatu, Ogori-Mangogo and several non Fulani Northerners (Non-muslims Northerners) also celebrate New Yam Festivals

Charleys:
Okay but in Nigeria the new yam festival is not celebrated by northerners. We all know the people who celebrate it and farm it. Google it if you don't know...

The truth is you were wrong by that your post, you need to admit that you failed. 10 years from now when you log into nairaland you will look back at that your post and realize that you are a failure.

New Yam Festival are pagan celebrations to mark the beginning of a new season and it's celebrated (under different names) among many tribes in West Africa

Charleys:
Point of correction, Yams are not farmed in the north.
Don't argue this one, I Sabi pass you for that one.

Go check the people that do new yam festival and you'll know where true yams are farmed.

People died on both sides of the war.

Three of my step mum's younger brothers fought for Nigeria in the Civil War.

One was never seen again since 1970, even his corpse couldn't be identified let alone be given a befitting burial.

One sustained injuries and voluntarily retired from the Army shortly after that war.

The youngest eventually became a top military officer and later on appointed by Gen Sani Abacha as a Military Administrator of Lagos State.
