Osun has a slight Muslim population but the only major cities (out of the nine cities in Osun State) that have Christian majority are Ile-Ife and Ilesha, Ejigbo is too close to call.

Iwo, Ede, Ikire, Ikirun and Ila are Muslim dominated.

Oshogbo may be 50-50 but this is largely due to the influx of non-indigenes into the capital city.
The real Oshogbo Indigenes have higher Muslim population with significant Traditionalists.
It will be more appropriate to even say many true Indigenes of Oshogbo practice more than one religions either simultaneously or at different stages of their lives.

Splashme:
.

I have lived in almost all the Yoruba states.

The only state with an obvious Muslim majority is Osun (but Ede and Ife have Christian majority).

Oyo is 50 : 50

They are more Christians in Ogun, Ondo, Lagos and Ekiti

This is my unbiased observation

Okay.

MelesZenawi:
The Muslim population in South west , let me correct that impression today is 76.8% against Christian's against 19.9% population.

Traditionalist there is just 3.3 percent or thereabouts.

Now basically Osun is a full Muslims state with nearly 92% Percent Muslim population if not 96 by statistical survey...How many churches are in Osun state?...few

Now Ogun state would have been a total Muslims state if not for her Lagos proximity , more reason the Muslim there are defiant to lock down..

[b]Oyo Should be pegged at 70 percent Muslim population though still contestable that Christian population there is not up to 26 Percent..

Ondo was devoted to God even before the British arrived. The only Christian state with Aketi leading the fate. Most of their Indigenes are religiously ok and I pray they make heaven at last.

Ekiti is another body of Christ but it seems today that the light Christ dropped for them is leaving the state.

Lagos is where the remaining low percentage of so called Christians from osun, Ogun and Oyo now congregate to cause problem and destroy Christianity.

One belong to the Federal Polytechnic, Ede and the other one was FRSC pick-up van.

The frames and the engines may be imported from China/Japan but I think Innoson manufacture the plastic components and the upholstery locally.

The cables and some electrical components are also produced locally by Cutix cables for Innoson vehicles.

The painting and glass fittings are also done locally.

Kaysalas:

The guy's last post is very funny to me.

Although he has some points in what he has been saying but the reason he cited i.e some Igbo ladies in Lagos are very tribalistic got me laughing hysterically.

* Most Nigerians ( about 90%) have some residual tribalist mindsets.

* Even with this tribalistic mindsets, we still manage to get along well.

I have dated many tribalistic Igbo Ladies and they eventually fell in love with me because I later in life understood how human relationship works.

If you want to have more detailed views about life and your environment, befriend and date peoples from the other side of the divide ( peoples that are different from you in terms of tribe, class, occupational status, religion, nationality etc).

If you are observant, you will see things from their perspectives.

Everybody have some personal needs which if you discover and meet, they will eventually like you and this can grow into love which if nurtured approximately can overcome tribal and religious barriers.

FirstbornWds:
So because some Igbos are actually tribalistic, you decided to join the bandwagon of foolish fellas to run down what you're supposed to be seeing good in.

The rationale for the purchase and usage of a particular brand of cars goes beyond tribal solidarity and/or national patriotism.

Most Igbos love Innoson but most Igbo car owners don't buy or drive Innoson vehicles.

Even in his native Anambra State, Toyota and Honda cars are more patronize than Innoson cars. Does this mean the people of his State/Tribe have prejudices against him?

Omolomo4eva:
If only we can push away prejudice from among us as Nigerians, that is when things will begin to work in all ramifications. Imagine majority of us using Innoson vehicles. Even the outside world would become jealous of us and begin to take us serious. It all begins with u and me. Kudos to IVM.Igbo amaka

They will improve to that standard with time.

If I were Buhari, I will partner with Innoson, Pro-Force, JAC and other automobile companies in Nigieria over a five year period to ensure at least 50% self sufficiency in automobile productions.

Government patronage is a good way at helping them but subsidy at the levels of production will force the prices of their vehicles down to within the reach of average Nigerians.

ProtectMyMoney:
This is good development however when i watch how stuff works, and see all the automation of car manufacturing using different Robots to ensure precision, this is miles apart.

When i look at the picture below, i see some wearing bathroom slippers, some hand gloves, some no hand gloves, some helmet, some no helmet... That instantly shows some standardization is missing.

The FG is the Largest buyer of Innoson vehicles , followed by Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi, Bauchi and Ogun States.

RCCG and some religious bodies also buy from them.

A common qoute in Medical Schools is

'Never say Never in Medicine'

Many Married women who are yet to have babies also have changes in body structures.

#Multi-centred Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) need to be carried out in order to fully understand whether there is a relationship with changes in the sizes of hips, bottocks and breasts and unprotected sex.

The same boastful nature was well displayed in 2015 when Hon Tony Nwolu and Hon Rita Orji ,both of the PDP won elections to represent Lagos in the House of Representatives.

This 'not-too-wise' nature was part of the reasons that led to their inabilities to be re-election for the same post in 2019.

Area4Area:
It is the boastfulness of the Igbos that usually lead to the downfall of fellow Igbos, a thread was created after his nomination and see Igbos insulting others for not being as strong as the them. Politics › Re: Bashir Ahmad's Response To Innoson On Ventilator Offer by oyatz(m): 7:59am On Apr 05, 2020
Tribalism and ignorance will not allow you to reason well.

Corona Virus doesn't know tribes or Regions. The SW have International borders , International Seaport and International Airport through which people coming from foreign countries get into Nigeria and is usually the first place to have the cases of pandemics in Nigieria.

However subsequent spread within Nigeria can affect anybody.

The next victim of COVID-19 in the S/West may be Obinna, Orobosa, Adamu, Yesufu, Edet, Nnamdi, Williams, Danladi, Bassey, Amarachi or even Powerkey.

powerkey:
You're even the one very mad.

But you were rejoicing that federal government of North and Southwest gave Lagos 11billion naira to play with.

They just shared the money.

why is innoson even disturbing himself?

He should only protect himself and staff let coronavirus kill all the people in southwest, after all most cases are there and will remain there.

Please what is the meaning of 'Fulani daru daru'?

Are bad Government officials only found among the Fulani tribe?

kunletexs:
Wen a clothes designer in USA wanted to produce comon face masks, he wrote to the relevant authority, GOT PERMISSION, subjected his factory for inspection, probably got standard sample, was able to produces HIS OWN SAMPLE before getting authorisation to start massive production which I know they would still BARGE in to rest for standard. That how a country with Brain works.

But here in Nigeria, wen you have a country where a fulani daru daru putting his daru daru friends into key position, you have the table turned upside down and children eating on it.

There shouldn't be a country.
Politics › Re: Bashir Ahmad's Response To Innoson On Ventilator Offer by oyatz(m): 7:25am On Apr 05, 2020
Stop exposing your ignorance.

1) It's the responsibility of Government and NOT Dangote to reconstruct the road that leads to the port where most of the imported goods we use in Nigeria pass through.

2) Government sometimes give tax relief to manufacturers of essential items (as opposed to luxury items like wines) and even small business owners within the first five years of their operations.

Government can also reach agggrements with companies to perform certain duties of Government in return for some incentives or special arrangements e.g Government had given construction companies barrels of crude oil as a form of payment for construction of roads/bridges.

3) Dangote didn't not ask for any item to be banned. He doesn't have the power.

If you see any where that Dangote asked for the banning of any item, please post it here with evidence and not beer parlour gossips.

AerialMapper:
But it is okay for Dangote to ask for tax relief and other incentives before repairing the roads to the port that they contributed in destroying.

It is okay for Dangote to ask for the banning of certain food items before he will produce them locally!

Politics › Re: Bashir Ahmad's Response To Innoson On Ventilator Offer by oyatz(m): 7:10am On Apr 05, 2020
No sir,

You don't need any approval from Government to manufacture Ventilators or medical equipments.

You only need to meet up with the standards set by the appropriate authorities which can be World Health Organization, Some Professional Bodies (e.g New York Heart Association), regulatory agencies such as SON etc.

Upright750:
Meaning you don’t know it’s a Linder medical equipment which need approval from government . Even Dangote got license from government
Politics › Re: Bashir Ahmad's Response To Innoson On Ventilator Offer by oyatz(m): 7:01am On Apr 05, 2020
The chasis (body frame) of Innoson vehicles are imported from China.

What the Automobile companies in Nigeria should pressurised the FG to do is to make local Steel industries viable so that the metal components (which account for about 70% of the weight of these vehicles) can be produced in Nigeria.

With this, the market price of a small brand new made-in-Nigeria salon car will be around #1.5-2 Million Naira which many citizens can afford without depending on Government patronage.

CSTR2:
There is nothing on the internet that justifies his position.

Innoson manufactures the plastics, metal finishing, foam, and other things.

He imports the engines from the Japanese Mitsubishi like many car producers, and critical electrical components.

So how is it 95% imports?

Is Engines and wiring 95% of a car?

He is a product of bad belle.
Politics › Re: Bashir Ahmad's Response To Innoson On Ventilator Offer by oyatz(m): 6:51am On Apr 05, 2020
You most likely typed this post out of ignorance.

Ventilators are medical devices/machines (depending on the sophistication) that help a patient to continue to breath even when the patient's natural respiratory system is failing.

There are many conditions( Pneumonia, Lung fibrosis, Bronchogenic cancinoma, Trauma due to road accident or physical assault/gun shot etc) that may require the use of ventilators to argument the breathing of patients.

Every Tertiary Hospital in Nigeria should have at least 2-3 ventilators and before this COVID-19 pandemic, the prices were around 1-4 million Naira depending on the type.
There are even simple manual ventilators that are operated by hands.

eodavids:
Its not his specialty. Neither do he need to go into ventilator production on such commercial basis, without Government commitment to that effect.

Let's learn to see things from others' angle.
If you are a business person who knows demand for ventilators is temporal and just for the remaining period of corona virus, will you use such huge resources to mass-produce the equipment and, hopefully, as the virus gets eradicated soon, the company will warehouse it or export it to the moon?

If Innoson had foolishly rushed into the production, these people speaking ill of him would have still accused him of trying to profit off the pandemic.

Which way my country peoplehuh

udemzyudex:
You still don't get it.

If It was Dangote that asked for a 4billion loan do build these things don't you think the FG would have provided it for him without thinking otherwise?

Whether there is a Market for it or not,all he need is a loan.
Politics › Re: Bashir Ahmad's Response To Innoson On Ventilator Offer by oyatz(m): 10:47pm On Apr 04, 2020
Where did you get this funny idea that ONLY the Federal Government must buy Innoson ventilators?

Each State has Tertiary Hospitals that will need ventilators. If Innoson can produce Ventilators that will be cheaper than the Chinese made ventilators, many Hospitals in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Egypt, Spain, Italy and the USA will buy his ventilators.

Cchuks27:
SMH! See you, comparing the business environment of the US with that of Nigeria. I pray you become a billionaire someday. When you are, go ahead and massively produce equipment for the Nigerian government without a formal contract agreement.
