Spot on!
Of course they will leave a few states (like the south-east for instance) for them so it's not too obvious!
Also, winning/keeping those states in the south-south and south-west in the next round of elections depends on each particular state in question or the entire region/zone having a 'strongman' capable of doing the needful! The south-west region/zone is covered in the person of Tinubu! In the south-south they have Sylva for Bayelsa and Oshomole for Edo...that's about it! They would struggle to get Cross-River (unless Ayade goes rouge), Akwa-Ibom and Delta! Rivers state they can get, but a lot of blood would be spilled before it goes to APC...and as can be seen from Kogi, they don't seem to have any scrupples in that regard! |

Didn't you see the Attestation of Result by WAEC and Cambridge in addition to the statements of results sheet released by his School? The Election Tribunal, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court ALL trashed out this unfounded allegations. In any case, Buhari's subsequent military education and training is far more superior to O/L. Above all, the Constitution is very explicit on the criteria for eligibility for elections in Nigieria. Racoon: This if true, then has reconfirmed the Buhari lie that he presented his alleged secondary school (WAEC) certificate to the Military Sec.during admission into the NMTC in 1962.Hence committed perjury & should be prosecuted.
Buhari simply never possessed a school certificate then but as expected the cover up note by his then Principal @ the Provincial Sec. Schl Kastina gave him the leverage he need to enlist into the army since this is the admission criteria then if JC Ojukwu assertion here is true.
So why is he lying he possessed same many years after because of desperation for political power? Even the late Maj.Adewale Ademoyega talked about tight scrutinizing of the entrance certificates of southern candidates while their northern counterparts were upbeat about their being admitted into the then NMTC because of the unmerited "Quota System" of admission.("Why We Struck" ).
This is the problem with liars. They don't know when the tell multiple lies just to cover a lie. |

The way you people used Billionaire carelessly is misleading. 1) As at Independence in 1960, there was no single millionaire in Nigeria ( based on Pounds Sterling). 2) As at 1987 when Awolowo died, there was no Billionaire (in Dollars or Naira) in Nigieria and Awo wasn't even among the first 100 richest Nigerians. 3) Even as at now, most Governors who left offices in 2007 are now very broke and can't be among the first 100 richest Nigerians. 4) Embezzling money can't make you a Billionaire because if you don't have enterpreneurial skills, the money will be finished within 10 years of leaving power. 5) Embezzlement is a SHORT term path to wealth and unless you are constantly in power to refill your loot, the wealth will nosedive with time. 6) Anything can be on Google (It's just a search engine). It doesn't confer authencity on the information. bigpicture001: Google Awolowo nd u will realise he was a billionaire |

Awolowo like all other mortals had his shortcomings but he was neither a Billionaire nor a thief. He was comfortable but NOT rich. He was a successful business man and an outstanding Lawyer. His Newspapers Empire, The Nigerian Tribune & Sister Titles published by African Newspapers PLC (Established in 1949) is the oldest surviving newspapers in Nigeria and about the only Nigerian company being managed by the 3rd-4th Generation. He was also a substantial shareholder in Nigerian Bottling Company and has reasonable Real Estate investments. Awolowo, Azikiwe, Ahmadu Bello, Tafawa Bello, SLA Akinjola and many of the politicians of the First Republic didn't have mansions in London, USA, Dubai or Saudi Arabia. bigpicture001: He is exactly like tinubu...infact tinubu is crazy about being awo....both are yoruba leaders nd billionaires without owning any business....

The problem with people like you is that you don't fully understand how a President emerge in a Democracy and neither do you understand the Nigerian system very well. 1) Democracy is a process (or a journey) and not an event. 2) If we have been practicing uninterpreted democracy since 1960, so many myths that emerged as a result of prolonged military rule wouldn't have existed. 3) The North is NOT a homogeneous and monolithic zone. There have NEVER been any election in Nigieria in which all the 19 States in the 'North' voted for the same candidate/party. 4) The concept of Zoning is in the PDP Constitution. It's not in the Nigerian or APC Constitution. 5) The Nigerian Constitution already takes care of the fears of marginalization which zoning purport to solve. 6) No part of Nigeria can single handedly make one of their own the President of Nigeria. In addition to simple majority, you require 25% of the votes cast in 24 States to win the Presidential election. No part of the Country can continuously muster these requirements without negotiating with other regions. 7) What this mean is that you need to be on ground and be accepted across most parts of Nigeria in order to win Nigerian Presidential election. mrvitalis: Firstly zoning was done to give we south a chance at presidency
Remove all the vote buhari got from south he still worn the election by over 500k votes This has shown the north they can win without south
Unless Yoruba's back the Igbo's north would win 2019 election ....
Yoruba presidency only hangs on north chosen to burry their ambition n vote Yoruba's the way they voted buhari ....when their is no reason to do that ...do u think north would ? |

Please define what constitute 'Restructuring' and leave ethnic profiling of the Yorubas. What the Ijaws/Niger Delta will call restructuring is Resource control. Igbos may mean additional State, Yorubas may mean Resource control, State Police and increased autonomy, Kanuris may mean Grazing Reserve, Hausa may want stronger Central Government etc. Periodic amendments of the Constitution may ensure some forms of restructuring. However, we need to understand that 'restructuring' on its own is not a magic wand that will transform Nigeria into an Eldorado. Presently, each State has political powers over Agriculture, Health, provision of water , waste disposal in their States ,yet they don't perform very well in these roles. Most Nigerians don't complain much about the failures of their Governors/LGA chairmen but are fixated on the Federal Government. mrvitalis: Why type of restructuring did osibanjo take federal government to court for ?
So you don't know the type of restructuring being call for by Nigerians ? Smile

What's restructuring? Restructuring mean different things to different politicians/parties or Geo-political zones. Neither the President nor the Vice president of Nigeria can restructure Nigeria on their own. However, restructuring of Nigeria will take place gradually and it's inevitable. mrvitalis: And yet Deny he knew what restructuring was ? He is a snake nothing more |

These politicians had their bases in areas where Buhari was already popular. They simply latched on to the popularity of Buhari to remain relevant. Without Kwankwanso and Saraki, APC would still have won Kano and Kwara. Without being in the APC, it would have been impossible for Saraki to emerge Senate President in 2015 even if he manages to win Kwara Central Senatorial seat. APC would still have won Adamawa without Atiku in 2015. If Dino wasn't in APC, he would not have won PDP's senatorial ticket let alone become a Senator in 2015! Truthfully, they contributed to Buhari's electoral success in 2015 but they gained more than what they contributed. This is the reason their political fortunes nosedived in 2019 after leaving Buhari. Jman06: You're politically naive!
If not for those northern PDP politicians ehn, Buhari wouldn't have smelt ASO rock. Those men (Kwankwaso, Tambuwal, Atiku, Saraki, Dino etc) were the people that handed power to Buhari! If they had remained in PDP without collapsing their structures into what's now known as APC, not even a thousand Tinubu and his over hyped media prowess would have made Buhari win. Even Buhari understands that fact. |
Politics › Re: Iam Now A Biafran Am Tired Of Injustice Of Nigeria- Dino Melaye by oyatz(m): 7:22am On Nov 28, 2019 |
If they had supported GEJ, many of them wouldn't be what they eventually became. For instance, Dino would never have been a Senator if he had stay in PDP in 2015. These politicians are smarter than you think, understand and practice the law of self preservation than you. Saraki would have lost Kwara State since 2015 and would never have been Senate President. Kwankwanso would have lost relevance by losing Kano to Hurricane Buhari since 2015. These politicians understand politics far more than you. #Theyknewwhattheyweredoing Jman06: Dino and the other Northern PDP heavyweights just decided to shoot themselves on the foot by their actions prior to the 2015 election. If they had been patient with Jonathan and supported him to win the 2015 election, by now Atiku would have effortlessly become president while Dino would probably have become governor of kogi state. But no, they rather decided to retire themselves politically thinking that it'll be easy to recover power from APC. |

That's the way it is for many people in real life, not just on Nairaland. Good ladies easily fall prey to very bad guys. Many Slay Queens tend to finally settle down and are happily married. From my little research, the reason is that 1) Most good girls are naive and inexperienced. They are similar to gullible victims that are easily swindled by fraudsters. 2) Slay Queens have dated severy men and have deep understanding of men, how men think, what men expect and want. They tend to look for simple guys that they can easily manupulate and if the guy has money, their relationship is often successful because they are usually in control of the relationship. prizlezzlalasky: God!
