Hausas aren't the only people in this country.
If Igbos can convince 4 Geo-political zones out of the 6, they can win a presidential election but this will take time, resources and careful planning.

Mraphel:
Any candidate endorsed by Igbos not "supported" by Igbos.

Hausas has betrayed the great Igbos countless times.
Politics › Re: Atiku Should Start Preparing For 2023 Presidency by oyatz(m): 9:28pm On Jun 08, 2019
So living in the North means you should think any candidate massively supported by the Igbos will be rejected in the North?

I also lived in the North before and I was surprised by the outcome of my personal research on the eve of the 2011 presidential election ; most ordinary Northerners assumed Jonathan is an Igboman!

Only few educated and exposed Northerners knew that Jonathan is an Ijawman and that Ijaw is different from Igbos.

But why are you this pessimistic?

Mraphel:
If my tribe Igbo should endorse Atiku the Northerners will vote either Tinubu and Osibanjo again. Come 2023 we're more likely not to win the election.

You are very very NAIVE to think that

1) Biafran rag tag Army will march from Ore at 3am to Lagos unhindered and the FG will just surrender to Biafran forces by 6am.

2) A ceasefire will just be arranged.
If mistakenly, the Biafran forces succeeded in taking Lagos, Ojukwu would simply replaced Gowon as Head of State of Nigeria with first class igbo hegemony.

You failed to also State that during that nepotic period,

1) None of the High ranking Igbo Political or military officers were killed or are igbo immuned to nepotism?

2) The beneficiary of the Coup was an igbo man.

3) The Igbo Head of State, Gen Ironsi did NOT tried and punish those who carried out the coup.

# In a very nepotic setting, it will be be very hard for non-igbos ( if you put yourself in their shoes and view the matter from their lenses) to believe that the Jan 15,1966 coup was NOT an Igbo coup.

Duru1:
I am not surprise form the above post. The coup was never Igbo thing but Nigerian army’s stuff coincidentally led by officers from Igbo extraction. Those who partook in the coup were soldiers who knew the level of rot such nepotistic tendencies will impact on Nigeria army. However, few miscreants in Nigeria turned it into Igbo thing.

They were villains. Achuzie would have done a better job.

I used to think like this before, strongly blaming Ifeajuna for the bloody roles he played in the history of this country but later on, I became less critical of him...he himself was naive, inexperienced and became a pawn in the hands of older and experienced politicians

That is the saddest part of Ifeajuna's story: a brilliant man and a distinguished athlete, consumed by guile, rage and ambition.

You will hardly see an Efik, Ibibios, Oron, Ikwere, Etche or Ekpeye people in 2019 talking fondly of OLD EASTERN Region.

If you see any one in 2019 talking of Old Eastern Region, just know that the person is an (irredentist) Igbo.

Igbobyblood:
old eastern region was created by the British to make ruling Nigeria easier. It no longer exists so get use to it.

Ibibio and annang etc long existed before Nigeria as a country came into play and they aren't attaché to we igbos so why are we behaving like this?.

Old eastern region is gone and will never come back

So Satan is no more powerful enough to spiritually kill people who abuse him but have to rely on mortal humans to assassinate his real and immaginary opponents?

This is very similar to the ways that the god of a major Religion mandate adherents of the Religion to kill 'infidels' who refused to follow his doctrines.

It appears Satan is increasingly been demystified.

Politics › Re: I’ll Tell Niger To Use Kaduna Port, Not Lagos – El-rufai by oyatz(m): 11:37pm On Jun 05, 2019
1) You just embrassed your self by the first point because it shows you don't know the difference between a River port and a SEAport.

Where is the SEA in Onitsha?

2) I never said Sapele and Warri ports are the same or that they aren't in Delta State.

3) Obviously you don't know that Shipping companies and NOT the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) take cargoes to the designated ports

4) INTELS , a private port operator owned by ATIKU is the concessionaire of Onne Port.

If Onne Port is no more functioning, there will be no need to concession it to INTELS.

5) Read widely and ask questions from those who are more knowledgeable than you instead of insulting people on Nairaland like improperly brought up kid while spreading your propaganda.

PrecisionFx:
As someone who have never visited eastern Nigeria or northern Nigeria, U obviously couldn't address any point I raised, rather u listed meaningless points.

1). There is a river port in Onitsha.

2). Most of Onne seaport functions as a Naval base, this is basic public information, Only a sick fellow wouldn't know this.

3). Please shit up. There is Sapele port and there is warri port in delta state.

4). Don't FooOOOool urself. FG owns and controls all seaports in nigeria and it is their duty to maintain them. Under OBJ FG (NPA) started dropping cargoes sent to eastern ports n stopped any form of maintenance there, that's why the whole 6 or 7 ports in eastern Nigeria failed.

4). Keep FooOOOooling urself
Politics › Re: I’ll Tell Niger To Use Kaduna Port, Not Lagos – El-rufai by oyatz(m): 1:35pm On Jun 05, 2019
Yes.

Lagos State Government has started building Ports in Badagry and Lekki.

Lagos has been an important maritime city for over 500 years.

Akwa Ibom State claimed to have been building Ibaka deep SEAport since Godswill Akpabio's administration.

Ondo State Government are considering building a SEAport in Ilaje/Ese Odo

PrecisionFx:
Did the governor of Lagos build any seaport or river port in Lagos?
Politics › Re: I’ll Tell Niger To Use Kaduna Port, Not Lagos – El-rufai by oyatz(m): 1:32pm On Jun 05, 2019
Bros stop displaying your ignorance in Public sir.

1) There is NO SEA IN ONITSHA ,thus they couldn't have been any SEAport in Onitsha.

Even Port Harcourt doesn't have any sea but it's located along a river that leads to the Atlantic ocean about 30Km South of the city.

2) One port is still functioning and it's not a Naval Base.

3) It's Sapele Port in Delta State and NOT Onne Port that was converted to Naval Training Base and this was done long before and NOT during Obasanjo's administration.

Even the Urhonos who own Sapele are not crying over this like you.

4) The Nigerian Ports Authority is in charge of Ports in Nigeria.
It's a FG agency and NOT under the control of the Yorubas, why holding Yorubas responsible for the situations of the ports?

5) People like you specialize in propaganda with victim mentality and like to whip up sentiments for unnecessary sympathy.

PrecisionFx:
I beg u in the name of God please stop living in self delusion, what is wrong with u yoruba people? Have u ever left ogbomosho in ur life?

Gosh.

Nigerian federal government converted most of Onne seaport to a Nigerian naval base, OBJ did this.

Nigerian government shut down onitsha seaport, stop making that senseless statement about forcing importers to use those seaports in the east because we have been using those seaports since ages until the FG destroyed them. SS n SE importers have been using eastern ports ever since until the Nigerian government stopped sending any ships to dock there. The Nigerian government also stopped all forms of maintenance in those seaports n killed it.

From my childhood to the 2000s, We don't buy anything in Lagos from the SE, We buy cars from Rivers state sea port, we buy okrika clothes from a mini seaport in Okrika, rivers state, many of our businessman bought goods from the seaports n river port here in eastern Nigeria. . U people need to grow up m stop disgracing ur selves.

Politics › Re: Ayo Adebanjo: No Igbo President, No Nigeria by oyatz(m): 12:35am On Jun 04, 2019
Bros, let me tell you some basic truths.

1) For you to succeed in any venture, you MUST believe in YOURSELF.

You MUST believe you can succeed in that venture

As per the 2023 presidential election, for certain complex reasons, many Igbos believe they can NOT win.

2) Many young Igbo online commentators are already drumming up support (akin to begging) for Tambuwal, El-Rufai, Kwankwanso 2023 projects with the hope of being picked for the second highest office in the land, the Vice Presidency.
Interestingly, they love to accuse and abuse the Yorubas of doing the same thing.

3) Some young Igbo online commentators (not politicians) seem to have this opinion that only igbos should contest for the presidential tickets of both the APC and the PDP so as to ensure 100% chance of an Igbo president in 2023.

The very hostile reactions by most Igbos to the perceived intention of Tinubu or any Yoruba politician to contest for the Presidency is borne out of this pervasive opinion

GMbuharii:
Oga,I told you I do not know.

The north and sw have a fixated mindset that an Igbo man will never rule this country. They even have such mindset for the Niger Deltams and northern Christians.

So it's in the hands of God almighty.

1) Are there non-northerners in the FG? Why do you refer to it as Northern run FG?

2) Before 2015, was there True federalism, resource control, regionalism and other 'isms'?

3) You have highlighted all what you perceived to be problems of the country but didn't offer any solutions or you think there is no solution to all these problems?

GMbuharii:
You are talking as if you are a novice, like someone not in Nigeria.

We are all pinned down, especially we southerners.

When the northern run fed govt keep saying no to True Federalism,we are pinned. When the northern run fed govt says no to regionalism, resources control, total Restructuring,we are all pinned down and cannot really move forward.
How on earth can a state governor or a region not be allowed to generate power for her own people!?!? Guy,you don't need any further lecture.

Politics › Re: Ayo Adebanjo: No Igbo President, No Nigeria by oyatz(m): 12:10am On Jun 04, 2019
You haven't mentioned three Igbo candidates that can win the 2023 presidential election.

For Igbos to win in 2023, they must have formidable presidential candidates in APC and PDP.

Can Peter Obi, Nnamdi Kanu, Kingsley Morghalu win in 2023 presidential election?

How many people in the North and the SW have you met or interviewed to know their mindset that an igboman must not become President?

Is Part Ayo Adebanjo one of the people that have such mindsets? If no, could there be others like him?

And let's assume but not conceeding that this is true, don't you think mindsets can change?
What are Igbo presidential candidates doing to disabuse the minds of these people?
