I know will drag Tinubu's name into this matter.

Why are you obsessed with Tinubu?

Tinubu left office since 2007 as Governor of Lagos State.

Tinubu is a private citizen.

Tinubu is not holding any Government or party office.

Tinubu is neither the Governor or Commissioner of Police of Ondo State.

Tinibu knew that it would get to this extent, but the clown gives no damn hence his support for Aso rock terrorist.
He's ready to send his brothers to their early graves because of his selfish ambition he won't achieve.

I Saw a thread where one afonja clown was insulting Igbos, telling Igbos that they won't succeed in separating them from Fulanis that they are inseparable..

"No matter how Igbos try, they will never separate us from Fulanis, they are very mischievous and are hell bent in causing disaffection between yorubas and Fulanis. Our relationship with Fulanis remains strong. Igbos are jealous of our mutual relationship with them that's why they are always emphasinzing on Herdsmen issue constantly

I gave up after reading that comment. Of course the comment came from One of Tinibu's on-line miscreants.
Now the palace of their monarch is under siege by their "Lovers", what's the way forward ?
It's a pity.

Have you asked everybody in Nigeria outside Yorubaland to arrive at this conclusion?

Isn't that the reasons for conducting elections to determine who the citizens want?.. Tinubu should contest and damn all consequences.

Great men take bold steps with calculated risks and stand by it.

Average men take bold steps but chickens because of distractions (e.g emotional ranting
by somepeople on social media)

Unsuccessful men avoid taking bold steps

The solution is

1) The Herders should form a cooperative society or many cooperative societies and be given loans through the BOI to purchase swathes of lands to be used for cattle ranching.

2) States' Governments should gradually phase off open grazing over a 3-year period.

3) Anyone be it farmers or Herders seen carrying AK-47 should be arrested and jailed for 5years with hard labour.

4) The pertrators of gruesome murders should be fished out and tried in courts.
Those found guilty should be executed by firing squads at 12 noon and should be televised on NTA network for all Nigerias to see.

Why is it that any suggestion the government makes in tackling this issue is resisted by some ?

Ask them for solutions and they keep quiet.
Politics › Re: 2019: Igbos reactions to Yoruba 2023 Presidency dream Is Pathetic & Pitiful by oyatz(m): 10:32pm On May 24, 2019
You are a pathetic liar!

A)At the Jos Convention of the PDP in 1999, the following presidential aspirants contested.
1) Obasanjo
2) Alex Ekueme
3) Jim Nwobodo
4) Don Etiebet
5) Philip Asiodu.

B) Obasanjo defeated them all and nobody stepped down for anybody.

By 1999, Alh Sheu Shagari was already old and in fragile State of Health.

He didn't participate in the Politics of the 4th Republic, let alone midwife it.

Dr Alex Ekueme spoke after the election and conceeded.

KillTheZombies:
Dayo, we've heard these lamentation and chestbeating about your so-called sophistication a billion times. E no change reality. It has become a cliche and everyone mocks you with it. grin

Fact 1. Yoruba waited for the rest of the country to conceed to the presidency to them in 1999. That's why the first and ONLY elected yoruba presidency emerged when all the parties fielded Yoruba. Therefore according to you yorubas are lazy. Na you talk am. No be me.

Fact 2. Ekwueme was never defeated by OBJ. Shagari was a figure that midwived 1999 presidency, him and the likes of Orji Uzor persuaded Ekwueme to step down because yorubas were still burning and killing non-indigenes in their region. OPC was founded that period as yoruba militia.

Fact 3. The only time yoruba voters ever put anyone in presidency was in 2015 (which was a close call because it was mainly between the North and a Southern minority) just yesterday. Before then, there had been 5 presidential elections and Yoruba voters failed while Eastern voters won. So the facts and factoids do not agree with you that Eastern votes are not needed. Even right there in Lagos, your political Candidates wear more Igbo regalia than agbada on campaign posters they spend millions to print. They seek Igbo endorsement. If Eastern votes are 'useless' that won't be happening.

Take heart and watch how the politics go in 2023, if Nigeria is still lucky enough to still remain a geographical expression by then. grin

Why can't IPOB use that day to organize their referendum?

gidgiddy:
Making a declaration of independence is serious business. It goes beyond making statements because when a group makes such declaration, they risk the government coming after them. Even if the government does not come after them, how
does IPOB get Wike to step down in the presence of the 6th Division in Porthacourt?

How does an unarmed IPOB get Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to step down when the 82 Division in Enugu is just a few miles away?

Or is it Willie Obiano you will ask to step down when Onitsha barracks is just an hour drive away?

Is it Rochas that will step down when the artillery Division Obinze barracks is on his doorstep?

It would all be pointless. It would be very stupid for an unarmed group that has no weapon to be declaring independence in the presence of armed Soldiers who have tanks and guns.

The best thing is for IPOB to keep agitating for a referendum and hopefully, when they get one, the people will vote massively for their freedom
Politics › Re: BIAFRA: Don't Be Shocked If You Wake Up On May30th And Hear This Broadcast by oyatz(m): 3:03pm On May 24, 2019

Your attacks on Yoruba interests is your OWN SURVIVAL strategy because you consider the Yorubas as blocking your chances of producing a President in 2023.
It has absolutely nothing to do with SS interest in 2015 because of

1) You have supported Atiku, Saraki, Tambuwal and Kwankwanso who worked very hard to ensure that Jonathan was defeated and you are even already giving them unsolicited support ahead of 2023.

If you love Jonathan that much and it's Jonathan's fight you are fighting, you won't be supporting those who brought Jonathan down.

2) Even Jonathan and the Ijaws have moved on.
Ex Gov Timi Sylva bought nomination form for Buhari in 2015,yet nobody is calling him a betrayer or traitor.
APC won some states in Bayelsa, yet you aren't fighting them.

3) In this your bitterness against the Yorubas, you will be shocked that the SS are NOT 100% with you. The recent elections is a pointer to that fact.

The SS are loyal to the PDP and NOT necessarily to Igbos.

Check APC performance in the SS and compare it with the SE.

Stop using Jonathan's 2015 defeat as your excuse of hating or attacking the Yoruba interests. It makes you look foolish.

OfoIgbo:
NOooo,we will keep attacking Yoruba interests, afterall in 2015 you were very happy to attack SS interests. Payback is on its way, and I am sure SS people are 100% with SE people on this particular issue

Yeah, Prof Moghalu is a good presidential material.

However he is not in the top echelon of any of the major Political parties, how can he win the Parties' presidential ticket?

OfoIgbo:
Prof. Muoghalu is head and shoulder above any Nigerian politician in terms of mental substance. If any of the big political parties get him, then it is a huge credit for that political party, and he is a very credible Igbo option
Politics › Re: Uche Okwukwu Backs Amaechi, Says Igbo Can’t Be President by oyatz(m): 5:58am On May 24, 2019
Thank you sir.

You have truly spoken the minds and sentiments of most Igbo people, easily explaining their strong anti-Tinubu posture.

However, let me ask you few questions.

What if this 'smartness' fail?
Have you thought of the consequences?
Do you have Plan-B?
Politics is NOT mathematics, you can't be too sure.

OfoIgbo:
SMART MAN. Wanting to fool Ndigbo into making that mistake. Running against a ruling party, so state power can be used to subvert the outcome of that election. NO WAY.

If a Yorubaman emerges as the APC candidate, Igbos should go for a northern candidate in PDP. That is the smartest way of playing this cat and mouse game.
Remember that if a Yorubaman wins the presidency in 2023, then Igbos will be frozen out of the presidency for 16 good years. And we already know how APC rigged Atiku out, and you can bet your last dollar that Yorubas will use APC's incumbency to rig out any Igbo PDP candidate, and if this happens, northerners will not be willing to stick out their political necks for Ndigbo and insist that the Igboman should claim his mandate

If APC does not see it fit to choose an Igbo candidate, Igbos should be smart, and choose a northern candidate for PDP. Possibly choose Atiku or Tambuwal or Kwakwanso

Who is the feather weight?

Esseite:
We know this political tactics, Tinubu is only looking for a featherweight who does not have his clout to wrestle with.. reasons below:

- Tinubu cant nominate another SW for presidency, a president cant be pocketed and would take charge of his power blocks and clout.. a pocketed president would be rubbished by NASS.

- Tinubu can try to be president, but chances of win is so low.. a Northern candidate in opposition would sweep the polls and the party losing power, that is why he is gearing, trolling, insulting the SE with everything to compete with him, but they are not bothered or moved.

- A SW candidate not coming from him under APC would seem like a political war against him, while the opposition may not be looking that way.

Ijaws supported one of them, Goodluck Jonathan in 2011 and 2015.

Even Ojukwu didn't get 25% of the votes cast in his State in 2003.

Bolustical:
This is crap from Wole Soyinka. If anyone is interested in the Fulanisation of Nigeria, it's OBJ.

Same Fulanis brought OBJ out of prison and presented him as President.

OBJ picked a Fulani from Adamawa as his VP for two terms.

OBJ foisted another Fulani (Yaradua) on Nigerians as his successor when everyone thought it was Odili he would support.

In 2015, he supported another Fulani, Buhari in 2015 to become President.

Come 2019,he supported Atiku, a Fulani man again.

Why didn't he support Igbos, Ijaws in this last election? Sebi he was busy talking about Igbo Presidency before the elections.

Only political neophytes take OBJ serious.

Today, rather than rallying round one of their own, his people are routing for El-Rufai or Kwankwanso to take over from Buhari (after 8years) in 2023.

What has really gone wrong.

RTSC:
Peter obi is hopefully running again. He tried his best for atiku by brushing up his image with the toga of technocracy which got him majority southern votes.

Unfortunately, the double combo of atiku corruption baggage and buhari's popularity in the North was too much to overcome.

Most Igbos wish that an igboman becomes the President (a noble aspiration, no doubt) but they also believe that they can't win a presidential election for now, so their next best alternative is to support a Northern in 2023 and possibly become a Vice President.

This is the basis of all these their anti-Tinubu posture. It's not as if they hate Tinubu per se but they perceive Tinubu's presidential ambition as a serious threat to their chances of becoming either a President or Vice President in 2023.
