Why is firstbank in Benin making life so difficult for every customer? We all know that there are challenges in the economy and banking sector at the moment but the case of firstbank is not just peculiar but worse. ATMs are never loaded, customers can stay in the bank from morning till night, even when other banks have one or two ATMs working, firstbanks ATMs are never working. I'm at Uselu shell branch of firstbank at the moment and the ATMs are still under lock by this time of the day. The most annoying thing is that nobody is even addressing the customers on what is happening. This is the 4th time in 8 days that I'm going to firstbank without getting any money. It becomes so frustrating when you can't report them to any regulator because everybody seems to be above the law in this country. Everybody is tensed up at the moment and anything can lead to a break down of law and order, I just hope the govt will do the right thing for once.

You are right, but what can we do people need to start speaking up about what they know about people storing cash at home. Remember the man that stored billions in Kaduna?

it is the duty of CBN to sanction banks that fail to dispense the new naira notes, how many banks have they sanctioned, even when people are suffering? Who will you report the people storing the new naira notes to? Is it not their money? Was the money stolen? We must learn to ask the right people questions, CBN needs to provide answers to many issues, how are pos agents getting the new notes when other people are not getting them? How are terrorists in the forests getting the new notes when people in the cities are not? How many new notes did CBN print? How do they monitor new notes released to banks? What happens to banks whose ATMs are not dispensing at all?

Any "rescue mission" carried out by the NPF or military where no member of the terrorists was either killed or arrested , I have never believed such "rescue mission" news from the govt or NPF. Either the victims paid ransom or they escaped on their own.

is it every transaction you can use card payment for in Nigeria? If u want to buy onions from aboki, will u use card? Buying beef from another aboki will u also use card? Tomato and pepper sellers, will u use card? No matter the level of cashless policy even in the civilised world, there are still transactions that require cash.

When dollar is scare and in high demand in Nigeria , the value will go up. But naira is very scare and the demand alarming but the value is still very "yeye-ferious"

Let me know how old his eldest child and the ages of his other children. If he had a wife or wives who are still alive, I want to also know their ages. His eldest child should not be less than at least 150years. Please edit your post and correct some of the words you use. Some of us reading it lose interest when we see statements like "her wife" or 'his husband" in Nigeria.

Even if they release one billion litres in Edo state, they will still sell at over N500\litre because the govt that should ensure that fuel stations sell at the normal price has its officials owning most of the stations. At the end, the few selling at normal price will have long queues in them. We are our own problem, the only blame I have for Buhari in this case is for not sending DSS to close down such govt-officials owned stations that sell above the normal pump price

people go to gatherings for different reasons. I may be in a gathering where General Babangida or other personalities are for instance , not because I like or support them, but because I have never seen them in my life and being in that gathering will afford me such opportunity. The same reason many others go to such gatherings, just to see some people in real life and in some cases snap photographs with them as memories of having met such personalities.

It won't surprise me, President Buhari completely murdered APC to the extent that PDP that was a well-known evil party now looks a better option than APC

The president deliberately assigned himself to be the petroleum minister so that the ministry will never be accountable for its actions and the corruption there will continue . No member of this current legislature deserves a return, irrespective of political parties because even if the majority always have the vote, it doesn't stop the minority from showing their opposition to the inhuman activities of this evil govt, but both the opposition and minority voices have always be silent

when you build infrastructure, without developing human capacity, development will be zero. That is why I still don't appreciate the development the various governors of Akwa ibom have been bringing to their state as long as the indigenes of that state are still spread all over Nigeria doing houseboy, housegirl and gateman work. Governance goes beyond prompt salary payment and building infrastructure, you must build human capacity, it seems you still don't have an idea of what governance is all about.

The legislature has not deemed it fit to invite the minister of petroleum to give account on why the country have been suffering scarcity of petroleum products, they have not called CBN to tell the house why Nigerians can't get new currency from banks while roadside currency vendors have uncountable amount of new currency . No member of this current house, whether Senate or house of reps, deserve to be returned to the house. Even the opposition parties don't say anything, they just join in enjoying the looting
