All these children on Nairaland self. Just look at how you are contradicting yourself. Cyberterror: The Ipob terrorist will be killed and nothing will happen. The northern mafia have concluded plans on this but Buhari's presidency is what is holding them back. They don't want to do it with Buhari as President to avoid blowback. That's why they are stalling the case in court to keep the terrorist till the opportune time to strike. |

I love your analysis. You will win 2/3 of South East? Keep dreaming bro. Truthisunique2: bro sentiment aside we can't win any state in south west
But a 40% is almost half which is averagely good, south west would back Tinubu big time like 1993 especially when Igbo would be backing theirs, we may get over 40% in Ondo and Ekiti this would be the closest which is still good
But We would win at least 2/3 of the SE at worst, we would win at least 5 of the SS
These are guarantees, and these are enough |

Whatever you say doesn't change who he is. It also doesn't change the love he is getting from millions of Nigerians who know the truth. Throwback: Was El-Rufai a state Governor in November 2013?
El-Rufai became Kaduna Governor in May 2015.
You cannot overule the court that indeed for the DSS guilty. thanks
You also cannot defend Peter Obi who said only Anambra or SouthEast members of APC should have been in Anambra.
Peter Obi is a bigot and cannot hide it. |

Why would a state governor go to another state to monitor an election for his party? A whole state governor? Throwback: Shame on you.
Peter Obi said we should quote him anywhere, that he was right.
Yet the court ruled otherwise.
That was when Peter Obi despite being Governor, was like a PA to President Jonathan, and got the DSS to hold el Rufai hostage in his hotel and prevent him from his lawful duty of election monitoring in Anambra state on behalf of his party APC.
Besides, what did Obi mean by the below statement?
Apart from Anambrarians, only fellow Igbos are allowed to monitor elections in Anambra even when el Rufai was an executive of APC's NWC and also in charge of the Situation Room team of APC for that very election?
Obi cannot change his ways. |

First, I didn't say Atiku will win the North. I said it will be a fierce battle between him and Tinubu. Second, Atiku is not contesting with Buhari. The massive decamping from APC to PDP should tell you how things are turning out. You will get the clearer picture when campaign starts. Indispensable85: There's nothing that suggest that Atiku will win the north simply because he's a northerner. All the previous results from the north in all the presidential election contested by Atiku are there for verification. |

Tinubu's problem is not in the South but in the North. The South will be won by Obi for sure. He now has to slug it out with Atiku in the NE and NW. As it stands now, non of the three candidates can claim majority in the NC. So, this election is highly intriguing. Indispensable85: Like I said before, majority of Obi's votes will come from PDP. Atiku is toast. |

Tribalism will never help us to grow in this country. If I can recall, only a particular candidate has been tagged an Ipob and Igbo candidate, Nobody has linked Atiku to Arewa or Tinubu to Oduduwa, but people keep linking Obi to IPOB Actually, it's now true that people are too sentimental and tribalistic against the Igbos and not the other way around. tiger28: The Presidential election has not been this hate=filled UNTIL the Undemocratic ibos entered the race.

"First, Nigerians in diaspora will contribute a good portion of his campaign funds.
Second, it will do a lot of good to his campaign."
My question was based on the "second" hence...
For your number 2 point you raised above, are you saying that before obi can "win the hearts of some of those in Nigeria", he now has to travel to visit nigerians in Germany and US first? Where's the sense in that? |
Politics › Re: 2023: Peter Obi Leaves For The US, To Engage Nigerians In Diaspora by pacesetting: 4:57pm On Aug 25, 2022 |
There could be reasons why it was done so. Do you know whether it was the daughter's wish for a low-key wedding? His son is also like that. thedio: This shows Obi is not charismatic, he is a bad leader. Imaging an ex gov,8yrs gov for that matter celebrating daughter weeding on a low key. While addressing Nigerians abroad, he may also win the hearts of some of those in Nigeria. Many are yet to settle for a candidate. There are many reasons why the trip is important. First, Nigerians in diaspora will contribute a good portion of his campaign funds. Second, it will do a lot of good to his campaign. Obi's popularity has gained grounds so far because of his continuous presence in the media. While addressing Nigerians abroad, he may also win the hearts of some of those in Nigeria. Many are yet to settle for a candidate. Remember that he was invited by a US university. But he is taking the opportunity to visit these places, so it's a win-win situation for him. I know we support our candidates for different reasons, but let's be objective in criticisms. Segzy19: Fruitless meeting

For the fact he is the least corrupt makes him far better than others. He is also very prudent with funds, which is exactly what Nigeria needs at the moment. I can go on and on. For your worries about cabals, that is another reason I will always go for him. You know why? He will be coming with his own cabal, so the old ones there are inconsequential. And why do you think Tinubu and Atiku who are dancing to the tune of Northern politicians now will stop dancing when they get there? You should know that Tinubu's emergence as a flagbearer was highly conditional. By the way, I keep wondering how people are underestimating Obi's tenacity. You just called him a lightweight politician. If I may ask, can you elaborate why you are calling a two-time governor of a state like Anambra lightweight? kayperry: if you say BEST then i might as well say how ? base on what ?
what some of you need to learn about government, is the propensity to succeed is greatly dependant on capacity, anyone that will "Fix" nigeria must have the strength to religate the cabals
i concern someone like peter obi a feather weight politician who can't rescue Nigeria from people who religiously believe they own Nigeria, Obi's might be good buh capacity-wise he is not fortified enough to do the job required |
