The revolution will now set the stage for capital punishment for corrupt public office holders, that is the only to deter corruption because Nigerians are too afraid to die.

And then one notion that we need to correct is, killing is not the worst offence you can commit against one's country, corruption is. So if people can start the public lynching of convicted corrupt politicians the way they do to petty poor armed robbers caught, it will go a long way to check corruption in this country. But the problem is that Nigerians are too fanciful towards rich people that they almost see them as untouchable. It doesn't matter how you make your money, so far you are rich, people will be eulogizing you. This mentality is the genesis of corruption in Nigeria.

Bottom line is that I think the whole USA political divide between Democrats and Republican is one cunning and exploitative ploy to deceive other countries. How can you have two political parties with totally different ideologies in one country? I think the Democrats and Republican were created and stood opposing to each other in order to serve USA interests at the expense of others. For instance, Democrats as a political party is a liberal ideology that is focused on integrating the USA with the rest of the world while Republican is focused on nationalism and conservative view of USA politics. Given USA prominence in the world globalization, Americans can choose which party to lead them based on their internal interests and current economic situation. Most of Americans tend to vote for Republican when their economy is doing great, but on the contrary, they will vote Democrats when their internal economic situation is full of myriads of challenges. For example, Bill Clinton was succeeded by Bush when American economy was turning record numbers in performance, then Obama inherited economy in recession, Trump came in after a series of huge upturns in economy during Obama, and the trend continues.

The fact that Trump successfully pulled USA out of Paris agreement on climate change will make it hard for the country to lead global consensus on any key issues going forward. If USA can pull out of Paris agreement, it means any policy implemented by Democrats can be easily undone by Republican when they took charge. Paris's was a totally bipartisan agreement aimed to save mother earth from the danger of climate change. The Iran nuclear deal was still understandable if Trump pulled USA out of it because it was a bit bipartisan as many Republicans were against it right from time, though needed to stop USA from going to war with Iran.
