They couldn't even borrow, who knows, they might not have even visited him in the prison; now that he is dead he has suddenly become a family member.

Why should prison be to only form of reform in nigeria. Someone missed a 3 hours environment sanitation and the appropoiate punishment is 2 weeks in prison. How does this make sense? Why not give the young man community service, cleaning of the dirty court premise or a 3 hours supervised cleaning of one of our dirty highways. Now this man is dead in one of our dirty overcrowded prison from abuse and I will like to see the punishment the foolish judge that sentenced him to 2 week will give his killers.

I still wonder how the imports from china will be cheaper than the one in naija if not for lack of vision from the government. Check it out: China as over 6 times our popolation (more people to feed), they are more than 10000km away ( transport cost to customer expected to be higher) and no technology I know of now for making fishes other than catch in open water or feeding fingerlings which is not high tech( tech not hidden from us). If our govt can look beyond banning and encourage our farmers (funding) to see beyond "operation feed the nation" and aim to feed the world, maybe our farm products will be competitive enough and our custom officers can concentrate on stopping dangerous substances coming into the country.

Stop making this sound like it is only Ibos who were the target of this blood sucking group. I am sure more Northerns than Ibos where killed and the economy most affected was the north. I cannot be sure what amnesty will achieve but if it will guarantee peace and my Ibo brothers can return back to the businesses in North I am in favour of it.

My guy, does it matter if it is transformer problem or not. The fact is that the guy saw light last 5 days ago. Is it no more government responsible to fix transformers or so the guy needs to go look at all the problem of power distribution.

I do not understand why the government cannot work with the people at Ladipo to transform the market without resorting to market closure. See the cost implications for both the traders and customers. I am sure the Igbo man selling parts at Iyan-Isolo has hiked is price to accomodate this situation and by the way the shop is a branch of the one at Ladipo.

Everything has failed. A suspect spends 8 years in custody, awaiting trailer, what if the offense he or she committed is a 2 years or 200, 000 fine case, who will balance him or her lost years. Nigeria needs to wake up.
