Phones › Re: Tecno Launches 18karat Gold Smartphone by PAQ(m): 9:13am On Nov 13, 2018
Imagine a gold phone with 3gig ram, 16gig memory, a mediatek processor and a HD screen that will cost a arm and leg! These techno guys really lack innovation, all that money in gold plating would have given them a true flagship killer, yet they want their fans to buy an everlasting glod plated body with outdated innards.

If i may ask, who are the target markets of this phone? Cos i rather buy a Xiaomi and keep the change!

Autos › Re: Why The Sudden Madness For Benz Cars? by PAQ(m): 2:23pm On Nov 09, 2018
Benzs are trusted brands, reliable and like wine just get better with age. Lexus is almost on thesame level though, since coming out they havent failed to impress.

I just blive Benz have a history that car owners or enthusiasts just want to be a part of, that is something other brands dont have.

For now i belong to #teamtoyota.
Crime › Re: Seiyefa Fred Murdered In Yenagoa Because Of Phone (Photos) by PAQ(m): 1:41pm On Nov 09, 2018
Bayelsa is becoming something else. Insecurity and lawlessness is at an alarming rate. Same way my younger brother was almost hacked to death by some evil teenagers, dey just butchered him like meat and took his phone... Dis was just around 7pm!

Our youths of today are filled with so much wickedness and no regards for human lives, regardless of all the Churches and selt righteousness.

Nairaland General › Re: Something Is Generally Wrong With Nigerians!!! by PAQ(m): 9:55am On Oct 22, 2018
Nigeria is void of equity and justice. The people have taken matters into their own hands, everybody is a law unto himself thereby creating a state of lawlessness.

It has nothing to do with poverty.

Car Talk › Re: Opion For Converting A Regular Corolla To Sporty Corolla by PAQ(m): 6:32pm On Oct 08, 2018
lillyontop:
Good day my people please is possible for me to upgrade my 2011/2012 regular Toyota Corolla to sport cos I really love the body built of the sport model the reason I got the normal is because I love the digital cluster on it and sport comes with the analog
I also want to do same to my Corolla. Regretting not going for the sports in the first place, cos whenever i see a Sports i go just vex.

From what i know, instead of buying the whole bumper which will be very expensive, you can just get the front, side and rear bumper spoilers, which can be sprayed to match your car, rather than having to respray the whole car. Then instead of changing the headlights, get someone who can open it and blackout the headlights by spraying the inner chamber then glue it back. If u want it smoked out, just aply very light tints over it.

I am not Lagos based, I have looked for the spoilers to no avail. Kindly let us know how much u get urs. Cos i must get that sports look.
Phones › Re: What Joy Do Android Users Derive From Badmouthing Iphone And Ios Users?? by PAQ(m): 2:20pm On Oct 08, 2018
For rest of mind go with the flow. iphone users in Nigeria are so constrained when it comes to file sharing and even charging. 90% of our computers are PCs, many computer users have never seen a mac book! So PC and Android complement each other like bread and butter, while PC to iphone is like bread and mayonnaise (bama).

I believe most iphone owners just hav the price tag to show for were as android users have functionality and versatility. Its just like people who own Bugatti in Nigeria, where can u take that car to??

Simply put, iphone = Bugatti (Very expensive, fast, well built, classy but will hardly leave home)

Android (S9, U Ultra, One plus, XZ3) = Bentley ( Expensive, fast, well built, classy and will take you to your village and back)

This is a natural disaster, probably the highest death toll they have recorded in awhile. In Nigeria we have figures equal and surpassing this, caused by ourselves , Nigerians killing Nigerians. Is it Borno, Plateau, Benue, Zamfara etc

He also said he agrees with the poll conducted by the British Independent newspapers which declared Nigerians as the happiest and most optimistic people in the world.

https://newsdey.com/2018/10/1195890-independence-osinbajo-mocks-adeleke-melaye-gala-night-html/
Optimistic, i might agree, but happiest is a blatant lie. Happy people dont kill themselves with the slightest provocation. Happy people dont look like the faces you see on your way to work in Lagos or Portharcourt. Happy people dont run away from their country with the slightest opportunity they get, happy people dont go on strike, and finally happy people dont look like our leaders especially...

Greece was in recession for over 5 years and also in so much debt, but see how they still take care of their own, even italy isnt doing so well economically.

A country that has little regards for her citizens cant hide her shame just like a father that doesnt like his family.

Nonsense comment.

Which is safer between draining the pond or risking the lives of the few divers we have into an abandoned mining site turned pond?
When ther r oil spillages in creaks and oil rigs/ installations of shore who do you think patches dem up, Jazz? No, divers, trained under water welders who can pass out as professional divers, risking their lives in more harsher situations. Something sadly, our Nigerian Army seams scared of doing. Common divers Navy no get.

Politics › Re: Women Protest Nude, Attack Army For Searching Mysterious Pond In Plateau Communi by PAQ(m): 9:18am On Sep 21, 2018
So the Nigeria Army/Navy dont have Divers that can quietly search a pond? When dey should recruit Niger Deltans into the Navy they will be busy recruiting people that have never seen water in their life.

I know jobless boys who will search that pond for a token.

INDUSTRIALFAN:
op did not say most popular dogs. Op said dogs that are beat for guarding homes in Nigeria. By that the OP is saying these are digs you should get if you really want your home guarded. Of course German shepherds are rampant in Nigeria because they are easy to find.
I can read, i know what the OP said. The GSD is popular or according to you, rampant for a reason. Google top best guard dogs in the world and see where the GSD lies in.

All this diluted rev fathers
Have brought down the image

He resisted intimidation and oppression by the robbers, he stood his ground till death, not affraid of the consequences, not because of the material thing! Its just sad an innocent person had to die because of his stubbornness.

I dont know him but am sure while alive that Reverend was one hell of a man. RIP.

Nigerians Homes and you’re mentioning Doberman pinscher, you obviously didn’t make enough research’s, German shepherds should top the list followed closely by rotts then boerboels, and WTTF is French mastiff doing on the listhuh huh
I thought thesame thing. I have seen more GSDs in Nigeria than all the dogs in this list, and i am not talking of the crossed breeds we see on Nairaland.

Nice simple write up. But bliv me, pray never to b caught in an accident in any IVM car. A company that has no crash test reports after years of producing cars. Wat standards or quality control does IVM follow, what r d emission test? Ignorance is Nigerians biggest problem.

I am not beefing Made/ Assembled in Nigeria, but we need to ask d right questions some times.

If anyone has a crash test video of IVM vehicles, emission testing results, quality control tests please enlighten me.
