We can't keep putting up semi-illiterates as our leaders and expect sanity at the helms. It doesn't matter how many laudable things Buhari do, as long as he is undermining the Judiciary as an institution and showing utter disdain for the rule of law, he is a failure. Mr. Bichi, heading the DSS, should also know that what goes around comes around. GEJ is free right now while Dansuki remains imprisoned. Did Dansuki print and distribute money without acknowledgement from above?

If we can just get our acts together, things should be better than this. Ordinary Croatians maltreating Nigerians when there are compelling evidences that they are not illegal immigrant or already overstaying. It shall not be well with any leader, past or present, in any tier of government, that has contributed into bringing Nigeria to the state we find ourselves today. Its such a shame.

Using KY jelly and seeing a psychologist may help your wife relax her stance about sex for procreation only and not fit for recreation. If you are thinking of pleasure of sex now, please take some time out to also think of pressure of polygamy when you'll be older and sexual pleasure won't be so important anymore. The woman praising you is just playing on your manly ego. Please, leave her alone and go work on the wife of your youth. She can still improve. Either by omission or commission, I won't wish polygamy on my worst enemy. Best of luck, bro.

He/She is a lost cause. No correction needed anymore. The dad either failed him during the critical period she/he was developing his/her core personal values or the dad was understanding enough to let him/her lead the life he/she felt comfortable with, as long as it will bring him/her happiness in the long run. I still believe she/he is suffering from Klinefelter Syndrome that has extra X chromosome coming with the normal XY chromosome. Physically, he'll came across as a man but physiologically, he knows he is not a real man because his male organs cannot perform at the optimum.

Idris ooo, how do you feel your parents and Okuneye family in general, Muric and the entire South-West Muslims feel every day you pop in the news? As for me, I'm patiently waiting for you to carry your made-over body back to Nigeria. It will make a nice specimen to study for surgical students and an excellent cadava for anatomy students when you eventually pack up.

Over to Bubu and Buratai. They told us that technically, the war with BH has been over for a while now. What do we call this - friendly fire? As for you BH, I don't think you are smart enough though. Why Lassa of all places. Just activate Lassa fever full force by sending in enough rodents and the war should be won without the army firing a shot. Best of luck to all true gallant Nigerian soldier.

In elementary Economics, they taught us of giffen goods and ostentatious goods that refuses to obey the theories of demand and supply. Sex and allied products fall into either of these categories, depending on circumstances. It does not matter what we do, sex will always sell, in any and all forms. Its okay they are trying to control it but except for age or disease, those in that industry can never lose in the short or long run. Its either we get realistic, legalize and regulate the industry like the Dutch or keep fooling ourselves, destroy explicit materials and still rank high among nations with HIV/ AIDS.

i understand and agree with your sentiment and i'm not in support of more taxes on the already very vulnerable populace. What i do disagree with is the "we are not yet ripe" cliche
i sincerely appreciate your thought bro

I appreciate your understanding. I agree I was very sentimental but I just couldn't help it. I live in one of the Lagos Mainland suburb and every evening I look at the faces of the folks around, I see a little bit of hope they had in the morning has been blown away by the heavy, humid breeze of the day. I see them trudging towards grave with hopes completely diminished, in a society where the middle class is wiped out and we have only the haves and have-nots. Government policies do not affect the two classes the same way. Its real tough for those at the lower rung of the ladder, my brother, I tell you, it is rough. Once more, I appreciate your understanding.
Education / Re: Could This Be Reason ASUU Is Against Ippis? by Parablesonmarble: 9:17am On Nov 29, 2019
TSA and IPPIS are good stuff. The excuses ASUU is giving for not wanting to key in are flimsy. All the highlighted points by ASUU can be accomodated and planned for. I don't know anything about their ulterior motive but I think ASUU should find a way round this and key into the program. He who pay the piper dictates the tune and not the other way round.

Its either Tonto is confused or wants to stay in the news. If she wants to be a man for real, she'd have gone for reconstructive surgery to change into a man rather than undergo cosmetic surgery to augment her feminine features in the first instance. Either way, she's in the news and I guess that gives her the thrill. Enjoy yourself jare, Ms Tonto. Time will tell if the madness you and Bobrisky are practicing is worth it or not.

Arizonaguy:
You folks are so quick to adjudge that Nigeria is not yet ripe for this and that which is either wrong to say or insecurities and fear playing out
if i may go by your cliche, a lot of countries that doesn't have the size of our GDP implemented this successfully which begs the question. Are they more riper than we

I respect your argument. You write like a reasonable person from a sane clime but please, check these countries you talking about. They have structures and strong institutions in place. Nigeria might be big with high GDP and stronger economy but its obvious to all and sundry that these things are not built on rock solid foundations. If we can find a way of building strong institutions rather than strong individuals and allow these institutions dictate according to the laws of Economics and peculiarity of our nation, then we are 'riper' but if we are still about personal aggrandizement in almost all we do, then we are way off tangent. Even, Buhari that is trying his best possible to raise strong institutions by implementing TSA, Integrated Pay Structure and other innovative stuff is still far off because as long as we still have prisoners of conscience in this country that are granted bail and not released, then he is trying to undermine the Judiciary as an institution. Show me a strong country in this world that is not built on strict adherence to rules and regulations as stipulated by the constitution and interpreted by the Judiciary. Finally, I'm not an Economist, Public Administrator or a Financial Manager but as a commoner, I know bills and taxes are meant to be paid but these excessive taxes, duties, levies and charges introduced all at once with little social benefit to the effect is bearing heavily on me. It is not until I attempt suicide that you should understand that these things are really depressing.

She got double promotion in primary school for being very brilliant, she got another one in secondary school for being exceptional. She won a scholarship to study in a Benin Republic university, got in and realized she knew whatever they'll teach all through right from the beginning. She took the liberty of giving herself another triple promotion in the university. She must be one of the rare brilliant minds that you come across once in a lifetime. Let us celebrate her. Please, post her picture and list her academic achievements to serve as encouragement for dull ones like my humble self.

Nigeria is simply not ripe for the cashless policy forced on the populace. Inflation rate is high and making legit money in Nigeria doesn't come easy. Now having the hard earned money being taken from our hands again in the name of different taxes, duties, dues and miscellaneous charges will eventually lead to wahala. This is a straight fight between Telcos and banks. They've tried shifting the said fees on to final consumers, it didn't work but you can be sure they'll try again in another form. Let it be known to greedy telcos and banks that Nigerians are tired of this nonsense. Let them discontinue the service once and for all, we'll find a way of adapting. Don't kill us with burdens just to enrich your own pockets.

Come to think of it, the walls of Mapo Customary Court, Ibadan and the the ears of the presiding judge, Chief Odunade Adekola must have heard so much about crazy couples' stories and wanton, out-of-this-world infidelity cases that they must have started thinking that they are dealing with animals rather than humans. I make bold to say that if that judge decides to write a memoir on the crazy cases he's handled, it will not only be very interesting book, it will be a bestseller.

Are you sure this guy no be unfortunate girl with boobs development problem? (S)he looks 100% legit woman, I swear down. The only reason I can't be against these people completely is that I know they are probably suffering from congenital problem called Klinefelter's Syndrome. They cannot function fully as males and produce little or no sperm. Maybe if they have the means, they should just go ahead and get converted to females. What's the point in not being a male, a female or a neuter. That is recipe for permanent depression.

This Shia/ Sunni thing is getting out of hand. Its becoming more than Islamic, religious or belief thing. Its more like its about clout chasing and economic benefits from pilgrimage in perspective. These two organizations are not unconnected with acts of terrorism in Nigeria by ISWA and Book Haram. Whatever they say, they didn't kill that innocent boy because of anything written in any book or because of his brand of Islam. They killed him because they are evil men. Evil, pain and sadness awaits these men and their families for the rest of their lifes.

Until its over, it ain't over. I don't see any reason for her to submit her 450k to you to further YOUR OWN vision when there is still a chance for her to pursue hers. Your own rejection might be God's way of saying YOU don't need MSc. but her own acceptance might just be God's way for saying she needs MSc. Did she ask you to give her your 300k to make her total cash 750k? If not, I think you are seeing from your own perspective alone. Your thought is skewed towards your own agenda. I think you should support and encourage her to pursue her dreams until the window closes completely rather than telling her to abandon it. What if she gives you her money and providence smile on her and she get the balance after you have committed her fund to your poultry dream? Go on, start your poultry with the little you have. Leave her be.

Selective Serotoni Re-uptake Inhibitor? Asking for a drug like this will make NairaLanders suspect you are suffering from Premature Ejaculation rather than depression or anxiety. Anyway, a man must do what a man must do. If you approach a standard pharmacy, they may be reluctant to sell without prescription. Best bet, approach a pharmacist that you are very familiar with, he may help out if you explain your reasons.

Religion / Re: UNN Witchcraft Conference: CAN Fixes Prayer Conference On The Same Date by Parablesonmarble: 9:11am On Nov 26, 2019
Please CAN, let these people hold their conference without any physical interference. You can go spiritual and keep praying to ward off any perceived negative effect of the conference. We need to understand African witchcraft in order to know how to handle them. We know the characteristics of a the white man witches includes;
1. They operate in a coven of 13 individuals or multiple of 13.
2. They get hierarchy by commitment
3. They get stronger by reading and learning of ancient secrets and complicated spells. Knowledge is power to them
4. They freely use drugs and alcohol to push them into realms hitherto ordinarily unattainable.
5. Sex is a strong way of tapping into spiritual power for them. Wild orgies is a recurrent theme.
6. They indulge in astral travel freely
7.They do not transmutate unless if absolutely necessary because strong magic takes serious toll of physical well being.
8. They are encouraged to work hard to reach strategic positions of power in normal life as that can help advance their long term cause.
9. They cannot harm you unless they have a part of you in casting spell like a strand of hair, piece of your used clothing's etc.
10. They are attracted to quiet or abandoned places
11. That full moon is important to them, especially the blood moon.
12. That the solitices are very important to them
13. That the blood of a virgin holds immense power to them
Etc.
What do we know about African witches? All we know are the conjectures we see in movies and snippets from the wise. Let this conference hold and let's begin to have more knowledge about African witches. It will be good for all in the long run.

For this one now, he has been doing ruggedity from childhood, he still continued his ruggedity as a grown arse grandfather, drink-driving, using the wrong lane and killing innocent people. Anyways, manslaughter and other charges fall on him fast. Let him go and spend the rest of his life doing ruggedity in jail. Stupid mofo.

Your sperm quality has been compromised due to Staphylococcus infection. You are to be placed on suitable antibiotics for a period of time, after which you re-run the test to ascertain the quality and quantity of the sperm you produce.
Visit your doctor for proper care. Coming on-line for suggestions may not be the best option opened to you. Best of luck.

The same reason men love beautiful, curvy and attractive ladies. Only financial value can easily relegate aesthetic value. Just like any other talent, beauty is an asset and being tall is part of being beautiful, for any man or woman. Put motivational and consolatory stories aside ooo. But not to worry, in this age of biotechnology and genetic engineering, very soon, we will have only few short people on earth.
P.S. - I'm short and always wish I was a little bit taller.

Angelique Kidjo is part Yoruba from Benin Republic that lives in New York and has Fela as one of her major influences. She's already an iconic Afrobeat/ Afro-fusion queen that would possibly give encouragement to younger artistes just to advance the genre e.g. her work with Yemi Alade. Burna boy is part Yoruba raised in Southern Nigeria, next door to Benin Republic. He has a strong tie to Fela and he frequents U.S. and U.K. Presently, he is the most celebrated Afrobeat/Afrofusion artiste from Nigeria. What are the odds that Angelique and Burna have met and talked music? If Angelique would encourage Yemi Alade (another part Yoruba), then why not Burna? If speaking Yoruba, or singing afrobeat or being West African or being prodigiously talented or spending time in U.S. are the commonalities that gives younger artistes access to Angelique, i think Burna's got it all.Until Angelique speak up about Burna plagiarizing her work, I won't hold brief for her.
