They taught me that chess is a game of kings. This one they are playing in Nigeria is a game of tin gods, in which boko haram leader is a black knight and the leader of bandits in north west is another black knight, Buhari's wife is a vanquished black queen and Mallam Daura and late Aba Kyari are black bishops. Forget Garba the black pun completely. Look for his principals and then we will know who wants to take the white castle represented by Osinbajo. 5 Likes |

Check the law properly first before concluding it not against the law because its against the law in most of Europe and most of our laws are grounded in British Common Law. Its not against the law in U.S. because it will antagonize the Aborigines long practised culture and not cos they think it right. They put the law in place in most countries to prevent inbreeding. We all have regrets. Make letting her go one of your life's unavoidable regrets but let her go. |

One thing I know for certain is that its not very advisable for any southerner to join Nigerian Military at this time and those already in should keep low profile until change of regime. All the negative news coming can't all be lies. |

Romance / Re: Why Are Only Men Having The Bad Affect Of Masturbating? by Parablesonmarble: 10:35am On Jul 14, 2020 |
Adewale1603: Yes, mutual masturbation is more commonplace than reported. Couples, married and unmarried, do that all the time. And yes, it gives more control but after exploration for first few years of sex life, an individual has a fair idea of what he wants sexually. It does not change the idea that mental stimulation is just as important as physical stimulation in sexuality. As a matter of fact they reinforce each other. Its the mental part that is a big deal to some people and not the physical part. Some believes that mutual masturbation, as healthy as it seem, can be a precursor to open relationships, swinging, dogging and cuckoldry in adventurous couples, all which may not be exactly healthy for relationships in the long run. I guess Will Smith can attest to that with the recent Jada Pinkett- Smith's 'Entanglement Saga'. My argument is not that masturbation is bad in its entirety. I absolutely agree with you that its a mean to an end and that the end justifies the mean. I only buttressed your point that anything done in the extreme may not turn out good. 2 Likes |
Romance / Re: Why Are Only Men Having The Bad Affect Of Masturbating? by Parablesonmarble: 8:41am On Jul 14, 2020 |
Adewale1603: A few differences here and there. Sex involves sharing and responses while masturbation is a one way street, even if both are aimed at achieving same - orgasmic release. The tissues of sex organs are soft, succulent and pliable but the tissues of the fingers are hard. When the sex organs get used to the hard, forceful pressure of the fingers or other tough or mechanical objects like vibrators, they respond less to soft tissues and that causes a lot of problems during interpersonal sex like weakly stimulated sex organs and lack of orgasm leading up to prolonged, unfulfilling sex and loss of interest mid-action during interpersonal sex. Reason why seasoned masturbateurs run from interpersonal sex, romance and partners in general. Aside that, to masturbate, most people needs mental stimulation. Porn tend to fill the void most times but there is always an underlying paraphiliac ( unusual sexual stimuli preference) tendency. Sooner or later, this trait will manifest, bringing shame. Frottage, voyeurism, exhibitionism, pedophilia etc.are only a few of such paraphilia. All in all, controlled, moderate masturbation is never a problem. In fact, its as healthy as donating blood once in a while. However, when it becomes obsessive, compulsive and the exclusive way of achieving sexual satisfaction, it becomes a problem. Plus, stereotypical and outdated outlook towards masturbation from religious, moral and cultural point can generate a huge mental downside like guilt, claims of health problems, feeling of ungodliness, feeling of supernatural influence etc. 2 Likes |

Simongm: Enough respect to all professors anywhere in Nigeria. However, I think its about time Nigeria started producing practical professors as against classroom professors. For me, the Igbo people have more practical professors in almost all fields of endeavor than any other tribe in Naija. Just go check out how they apply knowledge to solve real life problems. While we all say their goods are Aba-made and inferior, they are getting better by the second. That was how China started. In case you think I'm an Igbo man chest- beating, I'm a thorough- bred Ijebu man madly in love with superb garri, Eberipo, Ikokore, egusi Ijebu, cold eba and ewedu. |

TeamLeader: In case a body is inhabited by unwanted spirit, then exorcism is done to chase the spirit away. However, there are very few true exorcists around nowadays because it is a very dangerous business. You see, Western esotericism, Eastern occultism, mysticism and their likes are all well documented and can be easily understood but West African spiritism in its raw form has little documentation, not so easily understood but not less powerful than any other spiritism forms world wide. Exorcism is not exactly a common practice in West African spiritism. I think I understand your situation to an extent but cannot explain on an open forum such as this. Monarch butterfly over the right brow, upside down cross under left eye, a demon with pentagram heart on the waist, crown of thorn on both thighs, demon possessed man with upside down cross on the mid right thigh, the serpent in a heart shape on mid left thigh, pictures of a lady in bodage inset on both buttocks, rose petals on the chest and consistent pyramids all over the gluteal region. Palmerbarry: That diagram is nice The body: This is the solid state of a being through which he manifests any occurence happening to the soul or the spirit and expresses the decision taken by the mind. The body reveals consciousness. It may seem the body is less important than other components of a being but it is not. Spiritual entities without physical bodies seek bodies so they too can express themselves. Any problem with the body causes problem for the mind and soul too and if the body is badly damaged, the soul and the spirit leaves it and seek a better vessel. The mind (The Brain): This is the seat of consciousness and the host of both the soul and the spirit. It is the component through which the gift of free will is expressed. We are often perceived and judged based on how our mind works. The mind is closely related to the soul because they are in constant touch as it houses the soul. Together with other parts of the body, the mind form the conscious component of a being. The Soul: This is the liquid component of a being. It is the subconcious component of a being and the interphase between conscious and the spiritual realm. It resides in the pineal gland in the brain. The pineal gland is otherwise known as 'the third eye'. It is like a signal receiver picking signals from both the physical and the spiritual realm. When the spiritual component is not roaming the realms, it resides with the soul but when it is roaming the realms it is in constant communication with the soul, sending messages to it and through it. When the soul influences decision making more than the mind, a person is considered irrational or spiritually inclined. When a person sell his soul, it simply mean demon(s) are summoned to reside in the pituitary gland thereby dislodging the soul and influencing every decision made by the mind and bodily manifestations. When the soul is compromised in any way, the being is temporarily or permanently damaged and that means death, in the short or long run. The Spirit: This is the fluid component of the being. It can leave and come back without any permanent damage. It is touch with other spiritual entities in the spiritual realm. It can gather information about the past, the present and the future when properly attuned. It is said to exude aura of colours depending on the disposition of the owner. And depending on how well developed it is, it can feel and be felt consciously and unconsciously. When a person experience a 'true dream', goes into trance or go on astral travel, it is the spirit that leaves the body temporarily to gather information, sending messages from the realm to the soul, which causes the mind to project those messages as a moving pictures in real time, hence the spirit needs grooming for development and needs the soul and mind to manifest. When the soul is heavily compromised, the spirit will have no resting abode again causing it to roam more. If the soul should depart the body, the spirit also leaves never to come back again. When the mind is compromised, it manifests spiritual and other concieved messages without any regulation. The concept of death is hinged on the soul departing the body and taking the spirit with it. On life support machine, the body is still functional but lifeless. 1 Like |

Newcreature2020: Maybe because markets and malls are places with a lot of inflows and outflows every time and constant movements keep the current flowing with little stagnant airflow at any particular time. However, religious places require stagnancy, even if for a short while and that is not good for the fight against Covid. I think Covid is real and the people drawing up these guidelines are humans, Nigerians and religious too. Its an absolute no brainer to target any religion or person. We are all already targets for Covid. No exceptions. |

Leventis is a great place to learn farming but its unfortunate they didn't operate to full capacity during my time (2016) cos we were the pioneer set on reopening of the facility. If you intend to practice commercially after school, it is advisable to be close to Mr. Adeyemo to learn crop properly and Mr. Chris for livestock. It will also be easier to consult them after school. I wouldn't know how this corona break would affect your learning process as the real farming season is here now. Anything outside the rainy season is only Fadama, which is just part learning. I wish you all the best. 1 Like |
