I must commend blueprint for this balanced investigative reporting. It's particularly an excellent journalistic report because it points out the problems, the causes and possible solutions to be immediately adopted.

I have no doubt that governments at all levels will find this report very helpful. I am glad that the FG is already on it.

Meanwhile, the southern Nigeria parts , especially the Yorubaland region with so much land, great weather and abundant water bodies can do better than it is currently doing in agriculture. We lead cassava, cocoa, kolanut etc but we need to look at commercial farming of the staple crops too. We have always fed our own population in the western region and we can bring back those days. We need a strategic plan for our region's food security so that we will not be at the mercy of agelong local communal fights in northern Nigeria.
