brainpowerng: What else do I need to do for Morgan Capital to credit my account? I have called several times and even email but all to no avail. Since Monday!!!
passwelle: Call 08066397836, identify yourself and indicate which bank you paid into.
Confirm the funds were not returned to your account. Then try the above.

Dexterax: In a bid to maintain my intellectual humility and if it means anything to some folks here, please note that Dexter has liquidated 100% of his oxygen holdings, for a 59% profit.
The liquidation exercise was carried out in late afternoon trading yesterday.
Sir, you are a local investor I see. Pls be informed that your hitherto holdings have been mopped up at a faster rate yesterday by institutional investors grin

makashava: Pls House what's d current situation with UNITY BANK PLC? One thinks the bank should have resume normalcy.......how can it be dormant in transactions and yet still a safe bank?.
Sir it is NOT dormant in transactions. Many are still buying, holding and mopping up on a daily basis. grin It even recently concluded a rights offer and declared c. 7bn PAT for H1. If I recall correctly this was released in the first few days of July. We expect to see the Q3 results early on the 1st of Oct.

I do not hold positions in Unity Bank.

myjoy08: Well if retail or local investors are not buying Oando shares right now, certainly the institutional investors are mopping presently at a faster rate! My little advice...

SKYQUEST: what is the explanation for this kind of trade, please biko, explain.
For what its worth, just before the market closed today, some units of Access Bank shares traded well above the days average price.
However, if there is a pattern, methinks there is something going on. In the past month, this particular stock trades low through the day and just before the market closes, enough volume exchanges hands to bring the closing price up. The closing price of a stock has an influence on the opening price of the stock. And erm this stock may be doing a rights issue soon also wink.

In the words of Mandy Hale, “a busy, vibrant, goal-oriented woman is so much more attractive than a woman who waits around for a man to validate her existence.”
However, keep in mind the words of Cyc Jouzy, “You will never live a perfect life - getting in a relationship is like diving in a Sea, you can drown and Whales and Sharks can kill you. On the other hand, being single is like staying away from that water, you will starve.”

paulcube: What if it has gone back to N6 where it fell from rather than fall down to N2.70?
I agree with you on investing on 3 stocks, but you should buy at the price you are most comfortable with not minding if the price drops further. Determining this price(s) will require due diligence.... grin

dsonofmaan: And with almost everyone on the forum all loaded on Oando, its normal to think every post that has oxygen in it is talking about the stock. grin grin
I am in the minority, but I alighted last week Monday. I can always rejoin the bus though, afterall the final destination is between N40 and N1000. Once it kicks off, then I may be back. The OS of Oxygen is sufficient for all.

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by passwelle: 2:16pm On Sep 08, 2014
If I understood correctly, He asked a rhetorical question many would have asked re Oxygen "why are the '13 numbers not out yet?" and stated it may be best to stay aside for the time being.

dsonofmaan: All these live trading access to NSE platform Morgan is preaching na wash...the platform is showing that there's no offer for FTNCOCOA, you can't even place an order at market price; it comes with there's no current offer on the floor, yet the stock is trading in hundreds of thousands almost every other minute.
passwelle: That is false. There is nothing wrong with the itrade platform. You can place an order for your desired stock. Do the Trade realtime>Orders>Buy routine Sir.
dsonofmaan: Oga, i never said there was anything wrong with the platform.
My apologies.

dsonofmaan: ^^
yet some other people are seeing it to buy?
Who are the mumus selling?
Risk appetites differ. Some bought at 50k on Fri and if they sell today they can walk away with 10% net of transaction fees. That 10% is certain. That the US investors will come and buy at 75k is not 100% certain till they actually do.

Cross trades can also happen, remember Meristem alone had 47m units of this stock at a point in time, so they can for example sell using just cross trades.

FTN- 7.6% up as the Americans are coming soon to buy in at 75k
ETI- 4.9% up optimism tied to QNB's investment

Key lesson: "a decision is separate from its outcome. A good decision does not necessarily give you a great outcome, and conversely, a great outcome does not mean your decision was excellent"

nitrogen: A target of three months, go for Afripud, set an entry price of 3.25, and an exit price of 3.80. Afripud, 16.90% return after three months. Dont be greedy, exit when it gets to that mark.
Dexterax: Dexter likes Africa Prudential Registrars.
Agbalowomeri: You want to sell afriprud for 3.80 in 3 months? Why don't u add another 3 months and see if you can still get this to buy at 5.0? What is certain is that they won't pay less than 0.35kobo as dividend
Dexterax: The company is configured from the ground up to reward shareholders. Not many Nigerian companies are oriented like Afriprud. And since they're in the Share Registration business, they're well poised to make shii happen...
Agbalowomeri: Based on the above epistle, the only coy holding my attention right now is Afriprud.
mercylicious: the roe factor is very true. just watch how stock price react when d coy release a high roe result. afriprud and ubcap were among d stocks dt made me rich last year. afriprud is better than ubcap cos of lower share outstanding.
Toluway: I hereby increase my stake in Afriprud by 100%.
